1st generation always good it's taller, 25 kgs heavier than 2021 Celerio and 1st gen celerio, A-star are the two hatchback from Maruti Suzuki which is not built on Heartect platform. smooth engine and very good in handling at higher speeds. @@gokukn2336 now i won't recommend buying an A-star. Only less units were sold and you could see all those cars 10 or more than 10 years old and the car too had less comfort it rear seat don't have adequate legroom. A-star is a rebadged car it's a Nissan pixo. Better to opt any running models
1st Generation's Design and look is Far Better than the new one 💯
Even in interior, the new Gen model has poor placement of power window switches. The old Gen celerio looks much better compared to the new Gen model.

i actually own a celerio 2016 same ZXI (O) variant, however i could say that the mileage is pretty decent .. city la 17 to 18.5.... highways min 19....max 22... i am getting... !! if you want to consider my comment.. u can for others view :)
It's overpriced for 6.5L on road price.
5.5L should be okay for this model.
Yes Celerio top end is expensive will match swift low end lxi they price it to entice you to go for higher model e-g highend alto zxi will be expensive than low end celerio lxi and it continues

I own Celerio Vxi Optional. Maintenance and running cost is reasonable. Good for a small family. Comfortable for city drive as well as long trip but Maruti should really focus on the build quality...
they are able to give the car at cheap price by reducing build quality. if you want good build quality then forget maruti choose other good brands
@@kimyangKo Bro build quality of heartect platform is good like any better build car in this segment, crash tests have acknowledged this. Their body sheet metel thickness is less compared to others , but when it comes to any crash these outer sheet metals will not take much impact in any car, it's platform is what absorbs the impact.
But maruti should improve its side impact resistance, more airbags and their paint quality.

@@kimyangKo from my knowledge I haven't seen maruti car with week A pillar that can easily collapse(entry level low priced cars we can't comment as they are build with price in mind so quality is comprised, but whatever the price the car should not fail ) , romba mosamana crash lam entha cars um thangathu bro , even a 5 star rated car is tested under a speed 65kmph ..
We can't judge different crashes , because the speed, impact and lot of different variables varies between crashes , that's why we have a common testing mechanism done by ncap ..
Many maruti cars tested is set with 0 rating because some electronic safety features , airbags , side impact resistance are less so it made less safety points ..
But at basic the cars are stable to save passenger from crashes (passenger should be lucky to safe for brand car crashes), when crashes it looks very bad in picture as it crumble faster but that's to absorb gforce entering the cabin ...
At end we need to test drive and analyse or needs before buying any car , we should know what we are getting and should not fall on any companies marketing ..

2nd generation celerio is better in 5ways, Aerodynamic design, dualjet engine, low friction tyres, low viscosity engine oil for engine, hearttech platform, less weight more strenght, all above, min city mileage not less than 20km/l

Exactly bro….whenever I think of Tata cars, the first thing that comes to my mind is the word “Tata tractors” . Nothing can match Maruti wrt Refinement,mileage and after sales service. But I always get disappointed thinking about the build quality. Seriously no choice for a huge consumer market like India 🤦🏻♂️🥱🥱

15kmpl in city is too low u must improve your driving skills. I'm having the same zxi optional variant which I'm getting 17kmpl in city nd 20kmpl in highway.
Am using 2014 -15 model Celerio it gives good mileage still it giving good in highway 20 to 22 kmpl .
Very decent and performance family car.
Any new purchaser any one think to purchase ready to purchase this car.
But built quality very poor.
But if you experience driver you rest assured to buy this car.
Suspension very neat and very good even at very heavy load.
Also it's 5 seater family car interior space compare to wagon r it's gives royal and big & good look .
Am 6 ft 183 cm height person for my height leg space in driver seat portion very big no pain in my leg even after I drive my Celerio 400 km at s stretch .

Power window on all windows is not discomfort when children are around. There is a button to lock all the window mirror above the power window control(driver side). Make sure you press that.
First Generation is bigger than Maruti Alto and smaller than Swift. Always good in milage and except for bootspace( small for long drive)

Those who complain for less built quality should understand its proportional to cost of vehicle and passed on to end customer only. Celerio is for budget users for family use only which has butter smooth engine and its reliable for more than 3 Lakh KM in general.
