I've been considering doing a LIVE stream for a while but found it so technical that I hesitated to bring on a manager. This video has really put me at ease and made me realize I can handle it on my own. Thank you for sharing! The 7-day challenge videos were fantastic-excited to see what's coming next!☺
its not so bad. but I advise having moderators if possible. trolls coming in and saying mean things or just being rude is a hassle. A moderator can 'take out the trash' and allow you to do what you do without the stress and headache

Omg thank you for this video. I had no idea what restream was. I have tons of art haul videos I was just going to keep in my backup since my new art channel won't have art hauls other than on special occasions. This is perfect way to make a compilation of them and post it as a live video for those who love watching art hauls. I also have a few live videos from my old channel that I took down, I can reupload them this way too. Thank you.

You made such solid points! I have used Restream both vertically and horizontally. I had one video go viral to 40k views and 100 subs, BUT that video even though it was my own creation to be a funny video re: the US Pre-Election anxiety, when I checked my YT studio most of those subs were from younger people in India who I know would not watch my other content.
So since then I switched to creating relaxing overnight livestreams for sleep, which is more in line with my niche of women in menopause. I don't get as many views, but that is fine with me because anyone that subscribes will be more likely to watch my other content. In fact, I just uploaded a tutorial on how I use Ai to create my Restream lives now, to make sure there are no copyright or reused content issues, and because I have a dedicated playlist for them and intend to space them out but keep on doing them for a long time since they help ME to sleep :)
It's a great tool, but we need to remember that we can't trick TH-cam in the long run.

Even with your own content.
Looping content over and over is deceptive as people expect when they see live, that your live. Also TH-cam can demonetise even after monetising you if they decide what you’re doing is not In alignment with their guidelines.
This whole thing reminds me of the saying Easy come, easy go…
I would recommend avoiding this kind of thing, just put in the hard work and learn what it takes to be successful on TH-cam and keep getting better. Live Stream is great when you really are live!!!

@ If you do it the right way. Putting out good content and working hard to get better with every upload. You will get it and it will not go easy as you will have the ability to reproduce it again even if it was taken. On the journey to make it, we become the person that can make it!
