Jen, I’m sure I’ve commented something like this before, but I want to thank you for being a great mom role model to me. I am a full time working mother to a 2 year old boy and I’m due with #2 in July. You show me what’s coming in my future and help me see that I CAN do it and the grind is so worth it!
I just found your channel earlier this week. Yesterday morning I just watched the video of Christi from Frugal Fit Mom interviewing you. I am glad I found your channel. I also have been trying to work on losing weight. I did great in August then school started back. I have found fasting and tracking calories with some calorie restriction (1400-1800 calories) helped me lose 10 lbs in August. I still do 12 hour fast most days. Watching your journey makes me feel like I have someone to do this with! Thank you.

I just wanted to say that I’ve watched several of your videos now, and I haven’t seen you show your kids’ faces…not sure if this is on purpose or if you’ve talked about it before, but I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to see a creator put out great content about mom life without exploiting or over-sharing their children. Such a rarity on TH-cam/social media these days. 🙏
Watching this as I’m making chili for swim meet concessions in the morning! LOL! I run the concessions for our swim club and school team. Husband is a stroke and turn official. Interesting to hear you talk it about!!
I remember when my boys wrestled and the concession stand had the usual things also , pizza , nachos , things that you mentioned , so we always packed coolers for them and us with healthy options 😀
We are a swim family too! My hubby officiates. Volunteer involvement is pitiful with our team and club. We swim in Ky. Thanks for being official it's not an easy job.
6:02 so funny you mentioned this because just yesterday my nephew is getting over the flu and I told him he should take a nap to help his body clear out the cooties and he said “I hate naps. I’m not tired I don’t need a nap” for which I replied “trust me you will feel the exact opposite when your older and you won’t ever get to take naps because you have to work and take care of your family and you will say to yourself, wow. Auntie was right!” 😂

I'm SO happy you have posted a number of times buying FAIRLIFE. I am currently protein pacing to try to lose my middle age weight gain (and drop as much processed food as possible). I have been using flax milk because of the protein..but compared the fairlife and fairlife looks much more 'clean' as far as ingredients go. AND IT FROTHS SO NICE IN THE MILK FROTHER double win

I’m sure you are already keeping an eye on your daughter’s food intake - she’ll have to watch her macros very closely to get sufficient protein and avoid too much sugar and starch with a pescatarian diet. My girlfriend has been doing this for years, but didn’t begin until she was well into her 30s. That type of diet requires careful management particularly given the age your daughter is. Good luck!

I'm SO happy you have posted a number of times buying FAIRLIFE. I am currently protein pacing to try to lose my middle age weight gain (and drop as much processed food as possible).
