Phil tries to troubleshoot Si's cellphone problems and gets Si to reveal how he'd react to being greeted by a holy kiss. Jase explains what happened to all the money from the Robertsons' Christmas album. The guys share the one thing you shouldn't tell Phil when cameras are about to roll. And Si tells tales of his time overseas, including giving last rites to deer in Germany. One thing's for sure: You can't script Si.

Stone does a great job on the duck call room pod cast. He reminds me a lot of my dad...doesn't say much, meek and mild mannered, laughs frequently, and when he does talk he's sharing sound wisdom. You can't beat that.

This was an amazing episode! I love listening to gods word and hearing from men I respect, that know a little bit more than me. There is a satisfaction from the reality of this episode to remind everyone that, the Robertson's that you see from your screen aren't frauds or scripted actors. They're just people trying to do the right thing.

Wanted to share a thought: the definition of death is separation, not annhiliation. So the agony of death is separation, including from God Himself, so I'm thinking Jesus felt the agony of separation from the Father and the Spirit when He was physically dead? Makes sense to me at least :). Another terrific show = thank you. I enjoy spending time with you all.
Replying to Laurie D Mills question of Jesus feeling the separation from the Father on our behalf : I have no scripture to back this up and would appreciate any feedback from other believers. I believe Jesus experienced the equivalent of eternal separation from the Father and the Spirit on our behalf. My reasoning is thus : If the punishment for our sin was being separated from God for a finite time period, we could have paid that price on our own and then reunited with God in fellowship. I believe the real punishment to be eternal separation from God and for us to pay that penalty would require we stay separated from Him forever. Now we know that Jesus is fully God and became fully man also when he came from heaven to Earth. Being God, He is eternal and outside the constraints of time as we know it. I believe because of this unique aspect, that He could experience the horror of eternal separation on our behalf during the time He was on the cross. We focus mostly on the brutal physical death He suffered and rightfully so. But if as I believe, He also endured the equivalent of eternal separation spiritually, how much more sobering of a thought is that? Hence the verse, " How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? "
