Sleeves, little rant: I took your advice from a bit ago about how people SHOULD view NHL. Just like any video game, or any hobby you have, just do what you wanna do and have some damn fun! Yes, the game has it's issues (like how I can't body check worth a damn online when I used to be a bruising defensive minded player), but oh well. Before this game, the last time I played was NHL 17. While a lot of these sets and synergies are pretty new to me, I didn't buy the game strategizing ways to maximize the potential of my collection for future events, but unfortunately I kinda fell in to that the first couple months. With TOTY on the way, I heard how everyone was banking on that event and I didn't wanna lose out on good cards, i.e., FOMO. In taking your advice from the last few videos, I decided enough was enough and I just wanna play. I sold all my 81-83 players to add to my coins, and dumped half my coins in to 4 of those player packs that guaranteed 13 players 77+ to go for Lidstrom (Got Orr the last time this pack was in the store). Unfortunately, I missed out on the elite starter pack. Those 77+ packs are crazy. I pulled Icon Fisher, Icon Peca, and Milestone McDavid on top of getting the players I needed to build the set. I'm also really glad Fantasy came back around, because I had 13 collectibles from the first event, but work was too busy for me to find time to hop on and finish a set. In the end, I came out of it with Lidstrom (Him, Orr, and Chara are my favorite defensemen ever), 88 Fantasy Hannah Miller, and I used McDavid to get Milestones Yzerman, Esposito, Lemieux, and Iginla. I didn't realize the TOTW situation until your video explaining what's gonna happen, so I traded in my 86 Robitaille with some 83 TOTWs I was saving, and got a Star of the Month Josi. And although my heart hurts not seeing Bergeron in this game, MSP Barkov has been a godsend for my team defensively. A lot to read, and if you did I thank you very much, Sleeves. I'm a relatively new subscriber of yours and I like your content and your down to earth attitude on everything you talk about. Because of your videos, you helped this old 31 year old remember that I play video games to enjoy myself and unwind after a long day. I love Hockey, and I'm gonna play some damn Hockey with my favorite players. So thank you very much, and keep up the good work!
I sold 87 McDavid and 87 Lemieux and put it all toward the 90k pack. Finished Sundin, Gartner and XF Fox. Also ended up well on my way to a third captain. Saved so much grind time. Spent about a billion years opening the packs with the pack animations
Sleeveless - take at least one shot at the 82+ tradable set if you can afford it. You might get Barkov there anyway. I got the 86 Leetch and I've seen several reports of MSPs being pulled.
Hey Sleeves, NMS player here. Had 500+ coins (took your advice to sell everything that was tradeable) and based on your advice, took advantage of those 90k packs and bought 4 of them. Had 1 TB so now I have Koivu. I’ve been hyper-focusing on Mcdavid but the PWHL fodder packs feel so good that it’s making me think I should use that fodder and now pivot towards building a 2nd TB. Should I? Or should I direct the PWHL fodder towards continuing to hyper-focus on Mcdavid.

Gold Cover athlete jack's make it snappy, doing a reverse toe drag or toe drag release seems to activate make it snappy on the regular, give it a try and see what you think
Hey Sleeves! Definitely go and get Barkov. Hes my first line center and is fantastic. He does get knocked off the puck easily but his awareness has him still in the puck battles. I also got Mitch Marner and going to get the 87 Aho because I need to strengthen my center position and had more than enough fodder to burn and make one extra card. Probably going out to make another x-factor captain since I chose Kuch and will be going to get Willy next. Keep up the good work!

I make barkov's card every year. Usually a little on the slower side but his master set items are always fire. This year is no different. He not a sniper but his hands are sick and hes great in close and even has great speed. I used his base card this year until mid november and knew he was coming this event or for nations of hockey
Well as of Friday December 6th the chase to get the supercharged Connor McDavid came to an end as we now have him. That being said, even though that chase is over, our new chase is just beginning. We’re now on our way to getting Lemieux and Sundin’s holograms
i just got the game and its the first nhl game i bought ever who should i try to complete in the sets. i got hischier x factor card and a pwhl team builder whl team builder but they in my and 2 lineup
