I'm having some trouble getting my Cobra Kai Season 2 Episode 7~10 video authorized by TH-cam. I couldn't make everyone wait longer for the reaction series to continue, so here is the one for Season 3 Episode 1~3! Hope you enjoy!
Mate, I noticed you had it up for premiere and then it disappeared. Glad you're back. You might need to cut that other one into individual episodes unfortunately.
Gotta add my voice to this, especially because of the consequences of the final episode. Really interested in hearing your take on how things play out.
Neither Daniel nor Johnny was the bully. The bully is and always has been Kreese. "No such thing as bad student, only bad teacher. Teacher say, student do." -Mr. Miyagi
But both Daniel and Johnny were idiots. Johnny decided to bring back Cobra Kai without catering to its negative implications and Daniel decided to get into Karate simply out of spite. Although I'd say Johnny was largely to be blamed.
@@ruturajshiralkar5566 Not spite. Daniel was ready to go back to karate again, the hole after it had grown that big. He was also ready to be a teacher again, so a student came to him. Then we have the problem with his reaction to Cobra Kai resurfacing, which in a very large part is PTSD, and a wish to save kids from this bad influence. Johnny is driven by something similar. Reviving Cobra Kai and becoming Sensei Lawrence brought back his feelings and memories of being the champion, and the bully of his high school, being admired and feared, and having pride instead of his present life. Both make mistakes, and both are growing.
The reason for the gap on the stall doors is actually multiple things. It's so that if the person in the stall was having problems or lost consciousness, you would see it. Also, if someone is in distress, first responders can pull the occupant under the door instead of having to break the door down. It also deters people from doing illegal activities in public such as sex and/or drugs.
Yeah, all of those extreme circumstances are reasonable justifications for the gap under American bathroom stall walls. But it doesn't change the fact that everyone hates them.
@@JeffACornell Really, if you have to use a public restroom toilet, you're pretty much out of options and just have to go and do it. No amount of solid wall/no gaps will be enough privacy lol, especially if there are more people in the restroom after you've gone in. Just do your business, wash up and leave.
@Shawn Brink It's absolutely true. I grew up in a major city, and worked in a slum area with public restrooms. In my 2 years there we had several overdoses of heroin addicts using bathrooms to shoot up. It's also there for the many cases where police have been ambushed by a criminal on the run trying to hide in open public bathrooms. It has absolutely nothing to do with "cleaning" nor does that make even an ounce of sense. there is not another country that does this outside the US and have no issues with "cleaning" It's all about the drugs, violence, and other nefarious reasons for public safety.
Yeah I heard that before, doesn’t change the fact we all hate it, in my job the maintenance guy got sick of always having to clean the toilet paper that people used to cover the gap directly in front of the toilet that he put some kind of yellow duct tape to cover the gap

Something to consider - when you're emotionally charged up, specifically against someone, you'll often find ways to continue the conflict, and those ways intentionally avoid using reason or communication. It's very unhealthy, and this show doesn't pull punches about showing how unhealthy it is, but it's not quite as unrealistic as it seems.

44:36 - At my old Dojo, it was the higher belt levels up front closest to the Sensei with the lower grades backwards towards the rear. This was not due to individual laziness, it was because the ones at the rear can learn the moves easier with a LOT of far better participants than them at that moment in time to see and follow to learn from. The worst injuries I have had were cracked ribs, 2x broken wrists at the same time (8 bones in the right 5 in the left, they have been sore ever since I were 16 - that was 30 years ago...lol) tore my left knee muscles the morning after my 1st Dan black belt by just stepping out of bed, simply because I did not warm down afterwards the night before!!! I persevered since then and still retain the basic skills of my martial arts training and philosophy, plus real world applications it has. I taught myself how to play drums, bass, keys, guitar, how to record a band and then how to edit, mix, master and release those songs onto all streaming services such as Spotify etc. It keeps the aching pain away from the joints - keeping them active! I’m really enjoying your reactions and views as a Japanese sensei! I’m a Brazilian who has watched karate kid when it came out, in the 80’s. My worst injury was a ruptured spleen due to a skateboard accident when I was 15 years old.
Discovered you last night. I did Karate in high school, Tang Soo Do in my early years, studying a Malaysian Kung Fu now... It is interesting how many of the principles you talk about are the same across the various forms. Anyway, It's been fun catching up with the series on your channel. I like the way you present yourself, for a young dude you really come across as an old school sensei, not like the ones depicted in hollywood but the how can i put it into words "like you're favourite sempai as a young kid, gets who promoted to sensei when you're an adult".
The reason you can see under the curtains in hospitals is what if a patient falls and you can't see it in passing, and the opening on the bottom of bathroom doors is because its easier to clean and if someone should overdose or die somehow, you can easily crawl under to get to them if the door is locked.
Every once in a while I'll find a place where the stall door goes from floor to ceiling and it's real nice. Usually at one of the casinos in Vegas though.
About the bathroom stalls… the gaps are the result of companies & businesses wanting the cheapest stalls available. The gaps allow manufacturers to not worry about precise measurements making the bathroom stalls less expensive than if they had built a stall with zero gaps. They do offer attachments to cover the gaps, but of course that’s extra cost. For In & Out, either a cheese burger or double double (two patties and two slices of cheese) depending on how hungry you are at the time. The patties are 2 Oz or 57g each so use your judgement on how much you want. Also make the burger “Animal Style”. This adds chopped grilled onions instead of raw onion slivers, and are cooked with yellow mustard on the patties rather than being added separately. Fries are just fine regular, but they also offer “Animal Style Fries”, which is similar to the burger but it may be too much food and flavor all at once. I prefer regular fries with a cheeseburger animal style. Love this channel btw!
Yes, most people don't like it generally, but the space at the bottom and gap at the sides of bathroom stalls is for security and health safety reasons, if someone passes out, is trying to hide, cleaning maintenance, and similar.
I have some bizarre neurological condition where I feel physical pain in my lower body, when I see someone fall... and this first episode just kept showing people falling, over, and over, and over, and over. It was a nightmare.
"Bullshit, I heard you were the real bully"--Probably my favorite line from the show and a callback to "Daniel is the REAL bully video". This might be a worthwhile reaction video as it is allegedly one the impetuses for the Cobra Kai series.
my worst injury so far has been a torn ACL and meniscus from jumping a fence. Had to get a replacement ACL from a cadaver and surgery to repair my meniscus. 56,000$ dollars and a few weeks of prescribed painkillers and months of no moving. Shit still hurts occasionally to this day.
As a janitor myself I can say about the restroom stalls, the gap let's you see if the stall is occupied or not so you can keep things people moving. Also if the the door latch or lock should fail you would have a means of escape vs a complete enclosure, finally it also provides a bit of much needed air circulation within. 🍺
26:06 The streets of Tokyo can be very messy late at night but cleaning crews clean it up every morning. Not always on the side streets though. I remember one vending machine recycle can that had mountain of cans and bottles all over it, in the middle of the afternoon.
25:45 They doubled down on the fake out with the casting. The jock that you were lead to believe was Kreese was portrayed by Jesse Kove, who is the son of Martin Kove, the Kreese we all know.
Thank you for your reactions. I have really enjoyed your thoughts on all of these episodes!! Can't wait for the next video!! Can't wait for Season 4 this week!!
My worst injury from doing martial arts is the injury I have now, which is a torn ACL in my right knee. I tore it back in July and had to do a lot of physical therapy, I should've had surgery already but a accident slowed down my healing, so I have to wait until February. But I'm glad you've been enjoying this series, I've been enjoying your reaction to it and hearing your feed back on it from the perspective as a Japanese Karate Sensei.
When I go to In-N-Out I get the Double/Double cheese burger combo meal, animal style, with a whole grilled onion (along with the minced grilled onions and raw onions), extra toasted bun. Well done fries, also animal style. And a Diet Coke- no ice.
This taijitu is not a life-death symbol. I'd say it rather represents the balance between opposite forces (whatever these forces might be) and the relation between them.
@@stixoimatizontas whatever these forces might be, in a coma, I think that's what they were going for, life or death. Of course a Ying-Yang is a sign of balance, but here the balance was clear. In other types of balance, it may represent fire and water, good and bad, etc...
Really enjoying your reaction videos. My background is in Tae Kwon Do, so it's been fun seeing some of your other videos where you explore the differences between karate and tkd as well.
Martin Kove (John Kreese) has twins named Jesse and Rachel. Jesse played the part of the football player that was picking on Kreese. He looks exactly like his Dad, Martin, with that jawline and chin-dimple. Ralph Macchio (Daniel) also has a daughter, Julia, that plays the part of Daniel's cousin Loui's wife (the one studying Childhood Psychology). Ralph Macchio also has a son that he named Daniel (imagine that). 🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋🥋
I love this show. Especially the relationship between Daniel Larusso and Johnny Lawrence. They had so much history together in high-school and you never forget those times when they played such a huge part in shaping the future of both their lives. You can tell that they are both competitive with each other and are both very hard headed and set in their ways. But now that they are both 50 years old or whatever and you see them interact as adults down deep somehow they both care for one another. It is sort of like brothers or a family member you argue with. You love them but you disagree on many things. You can argue and call them names but if a stranger starts calling them names or puts them down or attacks your brother or family member then you come to protect them. Great writing in this show.
For In-n-Out: their menu is kept very simple for the purpose of keeping their food quality good, however, what some people don't know about is ordering something "animal style". You can order any burger "animal style" just by asking, and I think that they taste much better that way. You can even order fries animal style, and then they'll add their hollandaise sauce and cheese to them.
The toilet thing happens also in almost every country here in Europe. it has something to do with emergency workers, to let them know that every bathroom stall is actually empty during any emergency like a fire or a flood.
I noticed when Johnny and Danny were on " the right path", a step closer to healing, the Cobra Kai tittle is in yellow and when they stray from path of healing or Creesy is a shitter the tittle is red, one time is was red and green when the kids teamed up against Cobra Kai.. I loved watching your movie reaction, continued in to the series, and was so leaky eye nostalgic i have just binge watched all of the series, box of tissues the whole way.. loved it.. love your reaction to watching this epic show.. ❤ awwwwesomes...
Hontoni arigato gozaimasu. I've watched all of you Cobra Kai reaction videos back to back! Great insights and additional cultural information, greatly appreciated. I was a Renshinkai student back in the 80's. BTW: Metallica really is a band :D
14:54 I totally relate. I haven't used a public bathroom, much less a school one, lately cause i've seen some kids during PE period use the stalls near the lockers, and their legs are very noticeable from under. ugh I really can't imagine being in that position knowing how many eyes could spot me.
Johnny and Daniel just push each other's buttons like no one else...the bickering buddy-cop dynamic is the DNA of the show. No matter how immature they are or how often they regress, I'm still entertained by it, lol.
I'm from Texas and I assure you that throwing trash on the floor is both unacceptable and a crime. That being said, I have long admired the pride Japanese people take in the cleanliness of their environment
My worst injury was a compression fracture on my right clavicle. To this day... 17 years later... it it still broken. Well, kind of. It has fused together, but very badly. I love your videos, thank you.
my worst injury was probably when i got my thumb caught in the climbing frame and i fell off but my thumb stayed stuck and it got pulled out and yh. And love the content 👍🏻
cool thing about in n out is you can get any size burger, the menu only has a single or a double cheese burger but you can order 50+ patties and cheese on one burger, also get animal style on both your burger and fries, comes with lots of sauce and grilled onions
13:15 We do have something in between called "urgent care clinic", it's not a private doctor, but not a hospital either. Probably something like the places you might go in Japan. And, you might say "aishiteru" if someone might die, I would think. And considering Miguel's condition...
My worst injury is a concussion I got during wrestling. I was very close to breaking my neck, and I had a memory blackout for over 6 months. Second worst would be a broken hand in 2008, that is still numb from the nerve damage
The bully at the diner that fights the younger Kreese is Jesse Kove. He is the actor that plays Kreese (Martin Kove) son. You asked in a previous video how to contact someone from the show. I understand the writers/producers Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg are on Twitter and respond to questions. They just finished filming season 5. I'm sure there will be future seasons given how popular the show is.
I think the point of Cobra Kai the series is that everyone is capable of good and bad decisions. No bad guys in black or good guys in white just shades of gray.
12:08 This really makes sense because when you have dreams about people a lot of times, at least for me, the people don't look anything like the people they are. Like you will think "I had a dream about so and so" but the person didn't look like them or looked different.. and we see that flash of Robby and know that he's dreaming of fighting Robby.
14:54 "A space underneath" lol. took me a sec but I know what you mean because when I was on layover in Japan I see your toilets are completely closed off. No space underneath. What I hate most about American toilets (I'm American btw) is no bidet. You guys in Japan you have it built in the toilet, in Thailand it's a sprayer like they have to rinse off dishes.. but in America they have nothing.
Looks like he finally got it! It's a good thing he isn't reviewing a Japanese show within Japan. Apparently fair use copyright laws don't exist in Japan. Use copyrighted material for any reason without explicit permission from the rights holders, and your life is over for however long the prison sentence is, plus however long it takes you to pay off the fines. There was a Japanese TH-camr who was arrested for movie reviews that showed parts of the movies they talk about.
My worse injury was from an arm bar, I got caught, wouldn't tap, thought I could power through and my arm gave, pretty bad fracture, but luckily today I can move my arm ok, just hurts when its cold
My worst injury was my Achilles tear. Wasnt tang soo do related, but army related. I did pull my hamstring when training for my black belt when i was 20 though. Delayed my test by a few months and got it at 21
The space underneath the walls and door of the bathroom stall comes in handy when it turns out the stall you're in has no toilet paper (which is not a rare event in the US because lots of places don't bother to check if there's toilet paper, soap or paper towels when they clean the bathroom ---- if they even clean it) and you have ask someone to hand you some toilet paper.
Fun fact: When you said something about Doyona actually being a government building IRL. There have been a lot of places all over the world that people used for different things. There's the Fox Tower which was used as Nakatomi Plaza in Die Hard. There was this castle in the U.K. used for Hogwarts in the Harry Potter movies. The World Trade Center even doubled as Bowser's castle in the Mario Movie.
Thanks for the videos. I enjoy your commentary. I'm bored and have only watched to episode 1 of season 3 at this point, so I'm going to indulge myself and look at the possible legal ramifications (in the real world) of this 'karate riot". Assuming that police/DA's office has access to the school camera footage as well as the dozens of videos likely posted showing this fight, I'm going to imagine (fiction within fiction) that the authorities would have a pretty good evidence reel of what took place. With that assumption, here's my best guess as to what the charges would have been. Tory - Since she made her announcement (could have been a simple battery charge as she took the mic) she clearly demonstrates premeditated intent to harm to hundreds of people. She also initiated contact with Sam and prohibited Sam from fleeing as she (Sam) initially attempted to. So I think that she would face a terroristic threatening, at least one aggravated assault charge, an assault with a weapon charge (bracelet intentionally used as weapon), disorderly conduct of some kind or mayhem (not sure what CA would call that), incitement, and possibly gang charges. Sam - probably some disorderly conduct misdemeanor, maybe also tied to the fighting being on school property (that goes for everyone). It's seems pretty clear that she took a defensive position at the beginning and Tory never retreated. Hawk - aggravated assault multiple counts, incitement, disorderly, possibly gang charges. Miguel - Assuming that the video evidence was able to show that Robby was attempting to break up fighting between Tory and Sam, it becomes clear that Miguel initiated the physical confrontation between he and Robby. So he would likely face some assault charge (not sure if it would be aggravated), the same disorderly charges as the rest, possibly gang charges as well. It's important to note that the injuries that he sustained from the fight in no way alter the impact of his earlier actions. He would likely be viewed by authorities as the aggressor in the altercation with Robby and he never really retreats or demonstrates that he is ready to end the fighting. Even though he let go of Robby's arm from that hold, it is reasonable for Robby to conclude at that point that Miguel is still a threat, and therefore Robby is still likely to be seen as in a defensive standing. Therefore>>>> Robby - probably still gets disorderly charges etc... but it's not likely IMO that he gets an assault charge since he is never the aggressor (Miguel never retreats). This makes the man hunt story line pretty unlikely. Although, this investigation would likely have taken weeks. Stingray - Aggravated assault on a minor for each kid he hits. All other kids in the fight would have some degree of the same as those above. Lawrence and Kreese (and probably Daniel) are all getting questioned by the cops. Lawrence and Kreese could possibly get charged with some type of charges for teaching the kids to behave violently, possibly tied to a gang. Not sure what their culpability would be. And then there would be a ton of civil suits. So, nobody asked. I'm not sure why I decided to post this, but thanks for indulging me.
Sensei Yusuke-San, I have been binge watching all of your Cobra Kai videos and I have been enjoying them very much! I have a fun fact to share with you: In the scene where John Kreese is a young man cleaning in the restaurant, the guy who bullied him is actually the son of the actor who plays John Kreese. Did you know that? I thought that was very cool!

@@ShaDHP23 yea i know, people should begin to also upload to alternatives like odysee.
i wondered that he even could do so many videos of this.
17:13 resonates with me, I started taekwondo as a way to battle depression. Martial arts is about building yourself up.
Lol “twekwondo” like Tweek from South Park?

Love your reactions man, they're so genuine! Can't wait for season 4.
The entrance to doyoma is the same as the entrance to one of the factions in divergent
Yes, most people don't like it generally, but the space at the bottom and gap at the sides of bathroom stalls is for security and health safety reasons, if someone passes out, is trying to hide, cleaning maintenance, and similar.
My favorite candy is Fruit Roll-Ups as well. They are awesome.
Choosing what to get at In and Out burger is very easy. Its part of the charm.
Tank You for the Reaction to Season 3. Too bad you cant upload Last Episodes of Season 2. Merry Christmas
While waiting for season 5, I enjoy watching these reaction videos. :)
You can try to cut 7-10 to two videos. The first one from 7-9 and the other just episode 10 because there is so much going on.
Did you notice that Miguel is fighting against a guy wearing a Ying-Yang colored Do-gi? Life or death, in his coma.
The reactions to episodes 4-6 or 4-5 will be lit
Martin Kove (John Kreese) has twins named Jesse and Rachel. Jesse played the part of the football player that was picking on Kreese. He looks exactly like his Dad, Martin, with that jawline and chin-dimple. Ralph Macchio (Daniel) also has a daughter, Julia, that plays the part of Daniel's cousin Loui's wife (the one studying Childhood Psychology). Ralph Macchio also has a son that he named Daniel (imagine that).

If only we got that ep10 s2 reaction i was anticipating that so much 😭
For In-n-Out: their menu is kept very simple for the purpose of keeping their food quality good, however, what some people don't know about is ordering something "animal style". You can order any burger "animal style" just by asking, and I think that they taste much better that way. You can even order fries animal style, and then they'll add their hollandaise sauce and cheese to them.
I can't wait for you to react to the next episodes 😀👏👏 I've been enjoying this
The toilet thing happens also in almost every country here in Europe. it has something to do with emergency workers, to let them know that every bathroom stall is actually empty during any emergency like a fire or a flood.
The twist with the jock in the red jacket during Kreese back story is, that red jacket jock was played by Martin Kove's real son
15:00 Worse for places I work. The gaps between the panels and door are so wide you will find paper and tape to block view through it. lmao
I’ve been watching your reaction in preparation for the new season. Love your other videos also.
Fruit roll ups! Love these videos haha. Such a great idea for a TH-cam channel. Keep em coming!
The space is used to prevent walking in on someone
cool thing about in n out is you can get any size burger, the menu only has a single or a double cheese burger but you can order 50+ patties and cheese on one burger, also get animal style on both your burger and fries, comes with lots of sauce and grilled onions
13:15 We do have something in between called "urgent care clinic", it's not a private doctor, but not a hospital either. Probably something like the places you might go in Japan. And, you might say "aishiteru" if someone might die, I would think. And considering Miguel's condition...
Ahhh please update the next video with Daniel in Japan! Love your videos, thank you so much and keep going 💪💪💪
My worst injury is a concussion I got during wrestling. I was very close to breaking my neck, and I had a memory blackout for over 6 months.
Second worst would be a broken hand in 2008, that is still numb from the nerve damage
Yeesh 😬
Johnny lives in the same apartment that Daniel lived in with his his Mom in "The Karate Kid".
You're so great! You make me want to learn.
You are so wise. Thank you for this!!!
@14:52
The reason there is a large space in a bathroom stall, is so you can know if a stall is occupied or not, without having to knock.
The guy in the diner scene, who was playing the jerk to make you think it was young Kreese, is named Jesse Kove, and he is Martin Kove's (Kreese) son.
Oh wow.. had no idea
I think the point of Cobra Kai the series is that everyone is capable of good and bad decisions. No bad guys in black or good guys in white just shades of gray.
There used to be a Yoshukai dojo in my hometown, but the place got shut down. I eventually ended up going to an American Kenpo dojo, though.
42:40 No, Sharon called him on the phone, remember, after Johnny took off in the van?
14:54 "A space underneath" lol. took me a sec but I know what you mean because when I was on layover in Japan I see your toilets are completely closed off. No space underneath. What I hate most about American toilets (I'm American btw) is no bidet. You guys in Japan you have it built in the toilet, in Thailand it's a sprayer like they have to rinse off dishes.. but in America they have nothing.
I hope you get your authorization. Your reactions and perspectives are really interesting
Sensei, the reason for the space in toilet stalls is to make you uncomfortable so you don't linger.
My worse injury was from an arm bar, I got caught, wouldn't tap, thought I could power through and my arm gave, pretty bad fracture, but luckily today I can move my arm ok, just hurts when its cold
@ambassador lol, i think everyone does to some extent, not anymore though, i get caught, it's deep, i tap
This show is all about two grown men that cannot communicate to save themselves.
14:39 - In Europe we have that too
I don't know why, but it's there... That's stupid
I love your reactions :) !!!
Just an advice you can cut down 7 to 10 in 2 parts
At least there’s a chance one of them will go through
This is a brilliant way to get your dojo out j to the public awareness. Smart. Well done. Also this show is far more fun wuth you lol.
Therefore>>>>
Robby - probably still gets disorderly charges etc... but it's not likely IMO that he gets an assault charge since he is never the aggressor (Miguel never retreats).
27:05 That drink isn't naked. I believe it's an apple-celery (and 11 other ingredients) juice. I see them at Whole Foods all the time. It's not sweet at all, but really sour and bitter. The yellow and green circles are a dead giveaway!
