  • This is the first part showing the unboxing and introducing the Build series for Axial XR10 Competition MOA rock crawler.
I have aimed this at the beginner into crawing who wants a capable crawler. I hope to make videos of mods and Hop-ups in the future.

Thanks for your support and please comment rate and subscribe to keep up to date with my channel.
Please note - I had the wrong setting on my camera filming so have had to stretch this.

@djmedic2008 Thanks for that. Such a great site and forum, every RC Addict should head on over and join . . . NOW
Thanks for the support MEDiC. Enjoyed your narrated video today from your crawling trip to Mexico - drove me on to start this build as wanted to hit the rocks!

@MrRCStig Thanks for commenting. You have some really nice RC's :-) What I have ready they do need some mods but just wanted to try and do a 'manual' build and see how it goes.
Can't wait to get it out on the rocks.

@Danboarding he he me too. Was thinking about doing build on the EXO but with its delay though I'd build the XR10, like you always wanted to do one.
So want to get in up and running and on the rocks too - must take my time and try and get a good build series for all. Thanks for your support.
Once built you will have to get one and use my videos in your build thread again :-)

@111polarbear Thanks my friend. I have been watching your videos of the Losi too :-) I was planning an EXO build but with the delayed release I though I'd do and XR10, always wanted one :-)
Going to try and keep the build focused on people new to RC and crawling, regarding the build. Also trying to keep the cost down and crawlers are easy to spend loads on LOL I can here you "it wont be long and you will be upgrading" OK so I may :-)

xr10 will be my next crawler and will buy one from you if thats ok... the losi is great and was only £85 for the rolling chassis.... i couldn't say no to it.... i had a spare savox servo.. esc and bec and a spektrum tx and rx so i was ready to go... but i did learn the hard way with the motor, i got a 35t and it was a bit crap then found out that worm drive has 60 to 1 ratio so i'm now running a 20t motor and it has made a big difference

@fernando3482 Enjoy your build. I will try and get a video up each week showing progress. You may well build ahead of me, if you do still ask questions if you have any.
Regarding the Battery its part no is VEN15023, the best part is there is no soldering as it comes with 4 different connecters :-) If you have a look on my channel there is a web link where you can find them.

@kiriakooooos Thanks for your support. No you need to run LiPo batteries as in this video and not NiMh, they are smaller and lighter too. You would not get a NiMh to fit in the chassis.
If you look in the description I have now added the link to the Build showing one ESC and 2 Motors - hope this helps.

@111polarbear Does look like a great kit, shame they called it a comp crawler as think this puts some off it. It just got little space for ESC and Battery, that about it as any comp crawler guy is going to swop out most of the kit LOL
Yeh I'm hoping the 55t will be ok in this, didn't have a 45 and they do not recomend less than 45t. Can always tweak with a 15t pinion I guess.
Let me know if you do want one - I will look after you.

Sadly I did not keep a total but you will need between £500-£1000 depending on your spec. The hardest thing is finding one now they are out of production :-(
