@27 Fox Place, I am the same way with setting up a schedule. I will not follow it but if I set up a routine where I can adjust when needed I follow that pretty much weekly! I love having my Saturdays free and that has been my biggest motivation for success. I am glad that you shared your "struggle" as it's nice to know that I am not the only one!
I love your genius idea in cleaning and your plans and routine. We Persian people have a traditional custom which we clean all the housegenerally and specifically, decluttering before new year that starts in the first day of spring, mostly we start to deep clean 1month before new year. Washing all things and rugs.....😊. I'm in that situation now😅

Also, I like this "cheese" recipe that maybe you'd like to try. We mix one or two tbsps of nutritional yeast with one tbsp of powdered almonds or cashews or other nuts, a little bit of smoked paprika and a little bit of salt if you want. 😊

Question we notice you bring clean laundry up in the wicker basket, and then take the dirty laundry from the hamper and placed in the basket. I guess most would say it doesn't matter. I missed tacos when I lived on the east coast, too. 😂 I know it bothers some people to use the same laundry basket. But I don't think it's going to make a difference. 🤷🏼♀️ but it couldn't hurt to use a different basket. TFS! 🥰

Hi Randi, thanks for going through your routines again. One of these days I will bite the bullet and set up my own routines! It was nice to see your pups doing their job and napping while you work around them! lol I am trying to break up with dairy and had forgotten that nutritional yeast has a cheesy flavor. Will have to try it out. Not sure if you had ever heard this, but nutritional yeast is supposed to be a flea deterrent for dogs/cats. A friend of mine mixed it in her dogs food for years and never had any issues with fleas or any need for chemical flea products. Have a nice weekend!

Hi Linda! I coat the nuts with a little oil and then sprinkle Cajun seasoning and a little coconut sugar. Enough to coat everything evenly. You can toast them in a frying pan on the stove. 😋 I store them for a week or two. try not to eat them all, you want to save some for the salad 😂 take care!

I love ZenB pasta made from yellow peas ( one ingredient).Also you should salt the water but NOT add oil to the pasta water. It will keep the sauce from adhering to the noodles!

I’ve been trying to find a place to charge my new one with it being wall mounted and hanging down with the sweeper attachment …..I just noticed you plug yours in….so you don’t have it wall mounted and hanging up ?? This might work better for me then I cam just store all attachments in a closet instead of having the whole thing hanging on a wall somewhere…!!
Hi there! I don’t have a place to hang up and plug-in, which is why I prefer removable batteries for cordless devices. I don’t have closets with electrical outlets. I have plans to add one so I have a place for these things. 🤷🏼♀️ but for now, I have to charge it on the counter. I have a basket for all the attachments, so I can take them all with me when I clean.

We have some large drawers where I keep folded items and they would really be helpful. Your towels always look so pretty and white…do you use anything special to keep them looking good? I don't really have any measurements. I use about a 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar and 1 cup olive oil. a squirt of dijon and honey. about a teaspoon each. and a clove or two of minced garlic. I'll have to put that one in my next meal prep video. thanks so much!
Randi how often do you move all furniture to vacuum underneath it? Do you do by room or all at once to get the job done? I would need my hubby to help me with that. Does the chickpea noodles taste like regular pasta noodles? Always afraid to try those kinds of things.
I move all the furniture about once a year, give or take a few months, and I do one room at a time. Sometimes just one piece at a time. I have my hubby help with the heavy pieces.
Something I've always been curious about: I think your laundry machines are in your garage - presumably not climate controlled. Isn't it uncomfortably hot (or occasionally cold) when you're folding laundry there? Probably you're more forbearing, less wimpy than I am! 🙂 I always fold/organize laundry on my bed - taking the load directly from the dryer to basket to bedroom and then individually putting items directly into the drawer/closet where they belong. Our laundry area is in a really gross/cramped part of our utility room. I think our next home will have a nice laundry room, so maybe I'll use it for folding more like you do...
It’s mor comfortable for me to fold standing up. 🤷🏼♀️ The garage is is nice and well insulated, so the temperature is usually comfortable. I do the laundry in the morning, so it’s not hot. My dream home has a laundry room upstairs, so I don’t have to drag it up and down the stairs. 😂 TFS!
@@27foxplace I've been scratching my head over your "standing up" comment until it just hit me - When I fold/put away my laundry, *I'm* not on the bed, my baskets/clothes are! lol I'm standing, sorting, folding, stepping back and forth between bed and dressers and closet, making piles to carry to kitchen and bathroom, etc. Anyway... Like you, my dream is to have laundry room on same level and close to bedroom, as well as being clean and bright and spacious. ☺

Randi how often do you move all furniture to vacuum underneath it? Do you do by room or all at once to get the job done? I would need my hubby to help me with that. Does the chickpea noodles taste like regular pasta noodles? Always afraid to try those kinds of things.
I move all the furniture about once a year, give or take a few months, and I do one room at a time. Sometimes just one piece at a time. I have my hubby help with the heavy pieces.

Something I've always been curious about: I think your laundry machines are in your garage - presumably not climate controlled. Isn't it uncomfortably hot (or occasionally cold) when you're folding laundry there? Probably you're more forbearing, less wimpy than I am! 🙂 I always fold/organize laundry on my bed - taking the load directly from the dryer to basket to bedroom and then individually putting items directly into the drawer/closet where they belong. Our laundry area is in a really gross/cramped part of our utility room. I think our next home will have a nice laundry room, so maybe I'll use it for folding more like you do...
It’s mor comfortable for me to fold standing up. 🤷🏼♀️ The garage is is nice and well insulated, so the temperature is usually comfortable. I do the laundry in the morning, so it’s not hot. My dream home has a laundry room upstairs, so I don’t have to drag it up and down the stairs. 😂 TFS!
@@27foxplace I've been scratching my head over your "standing up" comment until it just hit me - When I fold/put away my laundry, *I'm* not on the bed, my baskets/clothes are! lol I'm standing, sorting, folding, stepping back and forth between bed and dressers and closet, making piles to carry to kitchen and bathroom, etc. Anyway... Like you, my dream is to have laundry room on same level and close to bedroom, as well as being clean and bright and spacious. ☺

Why do you have bells on the patio doors?
My son's dog was trained to "ring" a leather strap with bells to let them know he needs to go out. Maybe the same reason here?
yes, the bells are for the dogs. the leather strap keeps the bells from scratching the door.
