I actually don't know the logistics behind this move like at all
I was thinking it was either to avoid getting pallet stunned (not sure why this matters cuz it would have just cancelled the attack recovery) or he wanted to make sure the hit doesn't miss cuz of the flywheel?
I actually think he want to blink closer to chair but just messed up directions, this have no sense
My guess is... he was probably trying to hit then blink forward to bodyblock the pallet so patient can't squeeze through? Probably wouldn't matter much anyway because he had flywheel or just drop the pallet to stun then vault over.
Or, it was a mechanical error and he accidentally clicked it lol idk.

5:17 no, it's just fancy gimmicks like warp harpoon on naiad, the survs are doomed to a loss here if just play normally and keep trait cd, getting stunned while annoying isn't significant here
