Same to both of your comments! “A Bible of beige” made me laugh out loud lol 😂 I love Angie’s humor so much! She’s so great! I was laughing so hard when Angie mentioned the Native deodorant that was in collaboration with Girl Scout cookies. When she said “absolutely foul it smelled life barf deodorant” I blind bought one of the scents and it was foul, “we need a wellness check” made me smile and laugh. Angie is so spot on with that in my opinion. It was the worst deodorant smell I ever experienced. Hope you are having a great day ☺️
A friend once called me out of the blue and said "I was just baking cookies and from out of nowhere the whole house smelled like you.. Then i realised that it's just you who smell like cookies. So I had to call you". That's the cutest thing i've heard in a while. I love my gourmand scents thank you very much😂✨️
Bring your friend to see the redwood trees in Northern California or Oregon! It’s the only place in the world where they grow and they’re magnificent!! 🌲✨
Definitely second the redwoods suggestion! I live in Northern California and am so lucky to be such a short drive from such magnificent living history. Also, Hwy 1, the Pacific Coast Highway. Breathtaking! 🛬 Fly into the Sonoma County Airport, play among the Redwoods, Wine Country & dramatic Pacific Coast, then it’s a straight drive down to San Francisco to have a ball being tourists before flying home via SFO. But I have no doubt, whatever you decide to do during your friend’s visit, it’s gonna be great!!! Thanks for being one of my very favorite content creators. Happy Holidays!
Bring your friend to as many National Parks as possible. They are uniquely American things, vast and impressive and a gift to the public. Also Costco. Honestly for the same reasons. 😂
My husband's friends from the Netherlands visited the US for the first time, and they really wanted to see a buc-ees, Wal-Mart, and some national parks. A road trip through a state to just see the vast emptiness is also something different.
@Psymella Sweden sounds like a fun place for a road trip. For his Dutch friends who never left their country before, seeing places that don't have farms, windmills, and buildings is fascinating. Driving through death valley, you understand how it got it's name.
Oh, as a German (I am an easy girl) I would love to go to Target and other "typical" american stores.. Bath and Body works, all of that 😅 and I would eat soooo much different stuff. I live in a really small town and there is not that much variety😊
I confess i havent watched much of your book channel as I'm not into fantasy but I'd love to see a cross over between your book channel and makeup channel. Like picking out the main/your favourite character or theme from a book and doing a makeup look based on them or what makeup you think the character would wear.
You would love the Natural History Museum in Houston TX! It has a 3 story butterfly garden enclosure.... with a waterfall. It's so lovely. Also the gem and mineral exhibit was really breathtaking, I was mesmerized by the specimens displayed in a darkened room, with lights spotlighting the sparkly gemmies 😊 I loved Houston as a whole but that was my favorite thing I did on that vacation and I feel like it's really slept on as a chill, but beautiful experience.
I did! I asked for Sugar Cookie body wash! lol I like to use the cookie body wash, and then layer on a Peach Bellini lotion. The peach and champagne with the cookie - delicious. I call it "baitin' the man trap!" lol
When visiting the US, some of my most sticky memories are going to diners where locals have breakfast or lunch and overhearing the conversations and talking to the waitress. You get such a unique slice of life. For instance, I sat at the counter beside a forest ranger and him and the waitress talked like old friends about their lives. Plus the food and dinnerware and serving sizes felt so Americana.
Californian here 🙋🏽♀️, and although you can’t go wrong visiting the California coast, I’d say one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen is Zion National park. We biked throughout the park and walked through the narrows and it’s was such a great experience. My second choice would be Yellowstone National park. We stayed in Grand Teton and then drove and hiked throughout Yellowstone for a couple of days. I highly recommend both!
Congrats on having your friend stay! National parks, Mexican food, BBQ (Texas, of course!!), craft beer breweries, Target, Wholefoods, also rent a muscle car that you would never find in Europe and do a roadtrip.
Themeparks are deffo something I would love. Disneyland, Six Flags, Universal Studios. I have a friend from Utah and would love to see Yellowstone with her. And of course...Target. I need to know about this magical land called Target 😂 I've also never had In-N-Out or Chipotle and would love to try them!
Bring your friend to NYC to see the holiday decorations, the tree at Rockefeller Center. The high end stores all do really elaborate decorations. The building on the corner of 5th ave and 57th street is fully decorated as if it is a stack of Louis Vuitton luggage from top to bottom.
Wayne Goss natural bristle brushes: For the past 6 years ... I have 8 face brushes and 10 eye brushes. I have an additional 6 eye brushes for the past year. I highly recommend the eye brushes. For the face brushes, I like them. If you want ideas for more unique shape of eyebrushes to make, I love the First Edition brushes. In specific E1, E2, and E3🦋👩🦰
I would love for glow recipe to come to Ulta. I’ve been wanting to try some of their products, but I don’t have a Sephora anywhere near me lol On another note, I’m so happy for your new release with Singe Beauty! You’ve worked so hard and you deserve all of the congratulations and compliments for your journey! Can’t wait to see what happens next along the way ❤
I had a friend visit from Denmark .... we were going to explore the caves in Maquoqueta but it was _pouring_ rain so we ended up going to Des Moines to see the capital. He's a huge history buff and our capital building _is_ beautiful. It was one of the more unexpectedly fun things to do on a whim. Sometimes the thing you'd never normally consider can be the most fun :)
For local(ish) sights, the Amazing Fountain of Running Horses at Las Colinas, in Irving, Texas, was a great quick thing to see when I was there a few years ago! For not so local, I really love going to Hershey Park(even if you aren't a fan of their kind of chocolate), in Hershey, Pennsylvania, it has been a staple for our family for years, as has Busch Gardens(whichever location, they are all good!). If you are interested in Cold Weather travel, the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon, in Duluth, Minnesota is a fantastic Event, but it is in late January so it is REALLY COLD, be warned!
My favourite shower gel I took away from my brother years ago, because it smells minty, stays long on my skin and makes me feel fresh and clean. It's Old spice Wolfthorn. I just bought 2 big bottles, that's how much I love it.❤❤❤
Angie! Have you tried Dr. Bronners peppermint soap? If you love peppermint, you might really like it. It’s a castile soap liquid concentrate so you need to dilute it. Not drying either. Also, their company is a top tier employer. They take great care of their employees.
I actually kind of like plumping lipglosses, and the sting never really bothered me too much. I've also had jaw surgery, so my lip area is pretty numb at all times. However, I tried the duck plump lip oil, and wow, did that burn. I'm kind of worried that it's sold so openly and easily accessible without a bigger warning on the label. I can't imagine getting this into your eye on accident. I had to wipe it off because I almost felt my skin would start to peel if it stayed on. It still stung for hours even though I had it on for maybe a minute. That said, I still kept it because I'll probably use it for maybe 10 seconds then take it off haha. It really is that strong (in my opinion only of course).
Glow Recipe NEEDS to bring back the banana souffle moisturizer it was SOOOO good. It was light but so moisturizing and I absolutely love the banana smell. I think they're bringing it back in limited edition on their website but they need to stock it permanently in all stores.
For cookie deodorant, I like the Native Sugar Cookie deodorant only. It goes well with the Kayali pistachio perfume. ❤ I agree the pineapple sounds nice! For peppermint, have you tried Dr. Bronner Peppermint liquid soap? It’s a joke in my family. It’s a little… tingly. You might hate it, you might love it, it’s super fresh and has many uses if you don’t like the feel. I love the idea of sport brands and make up collaborating. Great video! 🎉
I know you are in Texas but if you have the ability to travel with your friend a little bit, I think one of the most beautiful breathtaking places in the US is the Grand Canyon! It's truly amazing and it is very much worth the trip to see it in person! ❤
I feel like you have to take your friend to a good American breakfast/brunch. when I’ve been abroad for months at a time, American breakfast food and American coffee was the stuff I missed the most!
The Grand Canyon for sure! It's one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. And the Redwood forest in California, those majestic trees MUST be seen in person to believe. You can't go wrong with any of the suggestions given here by your viewers, everything sounds fantastic even the cheesy over consumptive stores but hey, it's America where consumerism rules. 😉😆
for those not familiar, Jarritos is a brand of soda from Mexico. It means "little jars" in Spanish, and the "J" in Spanish is pronounced like "H" in English. They do flavors like Tamarindo and Guava, on top of Orange and Pineapple.
Angie, your eye look is gorgeous! Will your palette be restocked if it sells out? I’ve spent my Black Friday/Christmas budget but I want to buy it early next year!
I have the exact problems you have with PLouise palettes. So many unnecessary redundant looking shades. And don't get me started on the bulkiness of the palettes, they always look so cumbersome! Also, congratz on your palette launch! I was definitely late on congratulating that as I have been away from the channel to focus on other things.
My family is from NYC, I lived there for like 5 yrs and to this day I still love going there. Now I live near DC and it's also a great place to visit. Cali is great, either Northern or Southern.
Congrats on your palette! I am so happy for you! It’s beautiful and it’s on my wishlist ❤ you’re so down to earth and intelligent when it comes to what you do and your craft and I have so much respect for you!
If you have a Buccee’s nearby or you pass one, it’s a bizarre sight to see for a non-American. It’s ridiculous, but my husband and I go in one every road trip. He called it the “sacred holy land of capitalism” and “every American must make their pilgrimage to Buccee’s at least once”😂😂😂
Scoochie Scoochie is always the best 🥰 I love your thoughts and opinions in your WIBI videos! You’re so great Angie! Yes the Native x Girl Scouts collaboration deodorant was awful! I’ve tried blocking it from my brain. I purchased it without smelling it and it was so foul! Have an amazing time in Vegas for the Creator & Friends Holiday Party ❤️
Can I ask something about the palette getting to the warehouse and then to the customer process out of curiosity, just to understand better how this works? Is the warehouse checking and repackaging every palette for potential damage or mistakes or are they just counting the packaged units? Aka, if a palette arrives, for example, broken, is it something that happened after having been shipped from the warehouse or there is no way of knowing if it maybe happened earlier?
I would love to see your favourite places and meet your closest friends . The places you remember enjoying the most. It could be your favourite clothing shops, best cocktail bar, favourite place to dine out, definitely a day spa, and the biggest Sephora.
Everyday things: grocery stores, shopping centers, and bookstores! This is enjoyable to me no matter what country I go to. Even different coasts/states people will ask to try certain chain restaurants that are regional. 🛍️📚🍔🌯🍕 Tourist things: national parks, museums, farms (since it’s for the holidays maybe a Christmas tree farm, ice skating type venue that is giving US Hallmark holiday lol) 🎄🎿🛷⛸️🥧 If you are able to travel I feel like CA and NY are essential to visit! But also the parks in the Midwest are gorgeous 🏕️ 🏞️ Or a big theme park 🎡🎢🎠
My daughters and I have been super excited by body care lately. We love the sugar cookie body wash, the deodorant and the dove fall line was insanely good, preferences being the butter pecan crunch, but the pumpkin pie and apple cider was nice too lol
I just bought the Forever small palette from Neve cosmetics to have basic mattes for basic or undead makeup looks for my cosplays and I already feel overwhelmed by bringing in my hoard 12 new eyeshadows (even if they are super small)... P Lousie suitcase palettes would give me an anxiety attack X'D
@@Shirelae It's a very lovely Italian brand and even if it says 'no petrolatum, no parabens or silicones vegan friendly brand' their stuff lasts years and years without getting moldy or underperforming. The small palettes are a bit hit or miss, but their Masterclass palette (the rainbow one) is very pigmented and good. Stay far from the lipsticks and lipstains (too drying) and avoid the lippini lip balms (too sheer), but the sharpenable eye pencils and lip pencils are damn lovely, their big panned mattes are very good (but for some pastels which are meh), their Ristretto concealer can cover up even a murder and their duochrome big pan eyeshadows had been very good since the early 2000s when duochromes weren't a thing. XD
@IllyDragonfly thank you so much. I have some neve products. Never tried a palette though, only foundation, concealer, eyeshadow (pressed and loose), eye pencil, lip pencil, eyeliner and lipstain. Don't like the lipstain and the loose foundation. Other products are mostly good imo. A few meh.
@@Shirelae I love the loose yellow corrector, it doesn't set in my fine lines and lasts all day! And I am panning big eyeshadows as contour, goth foundation, blush and highlighters, good duochromes, which last decades without fading and never hard pans. The Masterclass palette is a solid rainbow palette with a couple of neutrals. AVOID the feline, the bartender and the harajuku palettes, the shimmers there are bland and the mattes are either too bland or too hard to blend (I'd pick the big mattes and duochromes in the same shades). I didn't receive the neutrals palette yet, but I will swatch them side by side with the big pans I already have, just to stay safe.
Oh Angie! You literally made me feel queasy describing the Native products-‘too 🔜’ in my day! Still coffee time for me- ☕️ You’re hilarious in your gentle disses 🫶🏽🤣✌🏽
The thing to remember about PLOUISE is they are first and foremost a company that was meant for professionals. Theres training, and they make their products with a professional building a kit. That is why there are so many mono color palettes. That color in every undertone, shade tone and formula in that color so when you are doing makeup you got it for everyone.
that P. Louise release, I'm glad I'm not the only one who was side eyeing that release. I thought I had messed up my phone settings 😂😂. That Made By Mitchelle palette looks like an old Nyx palette I have... and my Nyx actually looks more fun 😆😆
I am excited to receive my Singe beauty eyeshadow palette! I also grabbed another E06 and E01 because they are favorites❤ I'm skipping mostly everything else but those colourpop balms have my name on them.
I want the CP gloss balms so bad lol. If you get them, let us know how you like them! I'd like to see better lip swatches that show more clearly how pigmented they are. Love your channel Angie! Thanks for everything you do.
I would want to go to NYC if I had never been to the US. Food, shopping and my favorite thing Broadway shows!! BTW. I’m wearing your orange blush. I ❤ it.
Bring your friend to Fredericksburg or Marble Falls. My family’s favorite thing to do is to take a picnic to a winery in the hill country and just relax (provided texas decides to have nice weather). Climbing Enchanted Rock is also fun.
Some friends of ours hosted foreign exchange students on the regular & they often really liked Costco, Target, American Malls, Amusement Parks, County Fairs, etc. Natural landmarks & National Parks were pretty big hits too. Since we were in the SF Bay Area there is a lot to see in SF alone. Golden Gate Park, Pier 31, The Aquarium, The Zoo, Alcatraz...but Costco really blew the minds of non Americans. And they seemed to enjoy Target & Walmart-any Big Box Store really. And things like Food Trucks/fast food vendors. I assume there is a lot of stuff in Austin that is unique to Austin. Start there.
I prefer Ulta over Sephora when it comes to their points system so I would love more Sephora brands in Ulta. However, Ulta needs to learn how to ship their dang product! I’m tired of the Austin road construction obstacle course I have to drive through to get to and from Ulta.
Basic me, I like my soap to smell like soap. I really like those types of soaps that already existed in the times of our grandmothers and in the times of somebody else's grandmother centuries or even millenia ago, like Allepo soap.
Hmmm, it really depends on what kind of things she’s interested in but my top recommendations are: The Smoky Mountains in the fall or spring is absolutely a must see!! I know a lot of the more gorgeous places have sadly been destroyed in hurricane Helene 💔 but East Tennessee has some really beautiful places. Chattanooga, Gatlinburg, Knoxville, Oak Ridge are all beautiful places with lots of things to do. Even if you do nothing but visit the state parks and go hiking, it’s still worth it. But there is a Titanic museum in Pigeon Forge and some other interesting museums nearby. If she’s here in early May, I’d definitely take her to see the Kentucky Derby. The grand Ole Opry in Nashville is pretty cool. The painted desert is beautiful any time of the year (I saw in in the winter time). I wanna say there is also a petrified forest nearby and somewhere in that general area is a giant crater that’s pretty cool. And of course you can’t visit the southwest without seeing Roswell, NM 🛸👽 While I’ve never seen it, the Redwood Forest is on my bucket list. Cape Cod is a beautiful place to whale watch and sightsee. The Smithsonian museum is also on my bucket list. Idk, those are a few of my favorite places and / or bucket list travel sites.
I went to the US for the first time this year (from Sweden too 😅) and I was really excited by going to Walmart, Target and Whole Foods!! 😁 The supermarkets are so different! Then I loved the food there and I was not expecting that AT ALL! I loved going to a real Mexican restaurant for example! Then, something really exciting are the big cars and big trucks, so different too! In Texas, I'd love to go to a ranch or at a shooting range 😂 Lycka till med din vännina ❤

"A bible of beige" I'm dying 🤣

The younger generation loves the cookie ,cake sweet scents.
I loved the “Beige Bible” too.👏🎬

Yes!!
Yes! Yellowstone! The Grand Canyon!... so many amazing places!
I saw the swatch video for that PLouise palette and I am baffled. The darkest palette especially has so many colors that swatch exactly the same!
I love the “scoochie scoochie” every time! 😂 Excited to watch this video with your uncensored opinion, much appreciated! ❤️
Bring your friend to as many National Parks as possible. They are uniquely American things, vast and impressive and a gift to the public. Also Costco. Honestly for the same reasons. 😂
Sorry to burst your bubble, but LOTS of countries have National Parks, although I do accept that Yellowstone is the oldest in the world
That was my first thought! As many national parks as possible. I would like to see the redwoods and Joshua Trees so California would be a stop.
My husband's friends from the Netherlands visited the US for the first time, and they really wanted to see a buc-ees, Wal-Mart, and some national parks. A road trip through a state to just see the vast emptiness is also something different.
Buc-ees is a tourist attraction at this point lol
Yeah but the road trip is something we can do in Sweden too 🤔
But I agree, Walmart is exciting 😁

Ok now think of me winning a million dollars… I’ll let you know if it lands .. I promise.

OMG Dove and crumble is my dream!!! I'm so excited haha
6:59 Oh no, I can vision a new Fenty x Mischief collab... a brown 10 pan palette, 5 pans are eyeshadow and 5 are cocoa powder 😂😂

Getting so excited for MY galactic visitor to arrive. 😆🥳❤
Grand Canyon and the redwood trees. DC also has a lot of free museums and the monuments.

that sounds terrifyingly strong…do you like the look of the effect otherwise?
That green lipstick looks gorgeous!! 😻💚✨ I'm excited to see you try it out! I'm always on the hunt for interesting shades of matte bullet lipsticks.
I bought the Singe palette on launch. I’m excited to get it and play!!!!! 💛🌻
Nails on fleek!!! 🤩
Congrats on getting sponsored bei Burga!!! It’s a fantastic brand! I’m really happy for you ☺️❤️
Love the releases! Have a great trip!❤🎉😂
YESSS. I want to see the blending process!!

And I don’t know how popular the more than one look videos are but I love them. They’re some of my favorites from you! They’re super helpful.
Your hair looks amazing 😍
Your nose piercing looks so so so good 👌
Oh please if you use the green lipstick from Mac take a picture or something, I am always looking for a good green lippie!
I asked for the cookie smells! 🥰
Love that! 😅
Angie's hair is gorgeous in this video
If you have a Buccee’s nearby or you pass one, it’s a bizarre sight to see for a non-American. It’s ridiculous, but my husband and I go in one every road trip. He called it the “sacred holy land of capitalism” and “every American must make their pilgrimage to Buccee’s at least once”😂😂😂
I noticed a portion of your lighting that was casting a light copper hue to your hair. It looked beautiful! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
Love your reviews. Enjoy Vegas ❤
Tourist things: national parks, museums, farms (since it’s for the holidays maybe a Christmas tree farm, ice skating type venue that is giving US Hallmark holiday lol) 🎄🎿🛷⛸️🥧
If you are able to travel I feel like CA and NY are essential to visit! But also the parks in the Midwest are gorgeous 🏕️ 🏞️
Or a big theme park 🎡🎢🎠
My daughters and I have been super excited by body care lately. We love the sugar cookie body wash, the deodorant and the dove fall line was insanely good, preferences being the butter pecan crunch, but the pumpkin pie and apple cider was nice too lol
Hahaha 😂 I was cracking up at the Girl Scout cookie collab smell.
Love your videos and your comments make me review my decisions before I buy. Thanks
I have a set of Wayne Goss brushes from a few years ago. They are really good!
How is the quality?
@IllyDragonfly thank you so much for this information. Will remember this for my next order.
Hmmm I love plouise. I love that you have so many shades to blend. I love all of the brown tones
Oh Angie! You literally made me feel queasy describing the Native products-‘too 🔜’ in my day! Still coffee time for me- ☕️
You’re hilarious in your gentle disses 🫶🏽🤣✌🏽
The thing to remember about PLOUISE is they are first and foremost a company that was meant for professionals. Theres training, and they make their products with a professional building a kit. That is why there are so many mono color palettes. That color in every undertone, shade tone and formula in that color so when you are doing makeup you got it for everyone.
Gotta love the sassy Angie! ❤️
Good grief, I'm so out of things with life! I've missed that you launched a palette. Holy crap- congratulations!!!!
that P. Louise release, I'm glad I'm not the only one who was side eyeing that release. I thought I had messed up my phone settings 😂😂. That Made By Mitchelle palette looks like an old Nyx palette I have... and my Nyx actually looks more fun 😆😆
That dress ❤❤❤
I would totally take them to see the Grand Crayon or the wild forests of California, Oregon or Washington.
WOW how i managed to miss this! Beautiful palette! Sooo stylish and in the same time cute! 🎉🎉🎉
I love my Phlur deodorant! Helicopter tours are fun to me!
Angelica, you’re too funny 😂
Ooh, Angie, I love BURGA as well. They make stunning cases. 😊❤
I’d take them to Arizona, the Sonoran Desert, around the Tucson area, to watch the sun go down on the desert behind the Santa Catalina range ❤
I love that top 😍 you look amazing 🤩
I prefer Ulta over Sephora when it comes to their points system so I would love more Sephora brands in Ulta. However, Ulta needs to learn how to ship their dang product! I’m tired of the Austin road construction obstacle course I have to drive through to get to and from Ulta.
Basic me, I like my soap to smell like soap. I really like those types of soaps that already existed in the times of our grandmothers and in the times of somebody else's grandmother centuries or even millenia ago, like Allepo soap.
The cowboy boot design is darling.
You’re talking about this P Louise bundle of beige and I can only think: I need Galatic Visitor!! 😍❤
Hmmm, it really depends on what kind of things she’s interested in but my top recommendations are:
The Smoky Mountains in the fall or spring is absolutely a must see!!
And of course you can’t visit the southwest without seeing Roswell, NM 🛸👽
While I’ve never seen it, the Redwood Forest is on my bucket list.
In Texas, I'd love to go to a ranch or at a shooting range 😂
Lycka till med din vännina ❤
Så bra förslag! :D
