The rucksacks have to be tested in time.... Some look the part but then a few weeks later the zips break and stitching falls apart. Sometimes you can get lucky with cheaper bags but it is hit or miss.
I bought this but will most likely return it. I like everything about it except the length. If I cinch up the shoulder strops properly, the belt is up to the middle of my stomach when it should rest on my hips. I'm 6'2", so maybe it would be a good fit for a shorter person than me.
I'm 6'1", so the strap also hits me in my stomach. It doesn't really bother me too much, but I'm sure that changes depending on what you've got in your bag.
It has made an excellent motorcycle trip bag. I keep emergency gear and a battery charger in there at all times. I use it for small grocery store runs and things like that. It's a fine bag, and comfortable to wear too.
Sure, it will hold it. But will it hold for hours and hours without ripping the seams? Will the non-existent padding on the shoukder straps cut into your trapezius muscles into painful cramping sores? Will the cheap zippers hold when being stressed by all the luggage you stuffed in? Will the 300 denier cordura nylon last after once being dragged on the ground over rocks and pebble? That's why you pay a lot more for 1000-1,050 denier cordura nylon that can be dragged behind a truck. YKK, self repairing zippers that wont unravel, and if it does, the self repairing zipper will repair it. Thick, padded shoukder straps to spread the weight over your shoulders. Quality Fastex buckles that locks securely. Qualiy pockets and molle straps that won't tear off when attaching extra bags, weapons, water bottles, first aid kits, etc. Cheap hags are ok for a quick camping trip, or a book bag for thr kids. But i will pay for 511 backpacks built for heavy use that won't disintegrate in the field.
I got it for school, and so far one of the best backpacks i have owned

have you found an alternative?
Can it hold 80-100lbs
I think the real question is can I? 😂
To answer for real, yes, but it's not designed to so it would be incredibly uncomfortable.
What is the backpack called?
