I can understand the overhead shots, but how do you manage those that are below your head but not of the top of your head? Thanks for all of your wonderful inspiration!
I don't know if she has ever shown her tripod, but the one I have is super adjustable and the top arm part can bend forward. I use that feature all the time in my still life book cover photography it's so helpful.
Thank you for your amazing advice and creativity. I will be going to a national park in 2 weeks and hope ing to put myself in the photos it take. I was absolutely dreading it because I will be looking so messy, but I am taking your advice and changing outfits for the photos so that it will be more visually pleasing. Wish me luck 😊. On another topic I recently learnt that if the audio is echo sounding from the room size, then buying a little mic that you clip to your shirt makes a huge difference to sound quality.

gloomy days are the best days for photos!! as long as you can keep your camera dry that is....the overcast lighting is beautiful to shoot with, and no one is outside so you can do self portraits without feeling weird and having people in the background...gloom= instant moooooood 😆

I use my car windshield sun covers as reflectors sometimes, that is a lighting hack...but usually i dont have extra hands to hold it and I have to fix lighting in photoshop. not ideal but its an option😏
