Next time you come to Louisiana you gotta go to Delacroix,LA in St. Bernard parish. Red Fish , Speckled trout (sea trout), and bass all caught in the same marsh area. Amazing! Can’t see myself living anywhere else 🤷🏽♂️.
I live in Close to Baton Rouge, I fish the marsh and atchafalaya all the time. Best fishing in the world! I’ll never leave this state! I even fish on staycation
That's the beauty of bass fishing the struggles tough times, but then it happens you lock onto something and you start catching. My blood still balls when I get a topwater strike
The cajun grand slam is a trout, redfish, bass, and flouder all on the same trip. Once you get you one, you will never want to fish bass-only places again
Go flip and pitch around them house boats down at the Venice Marina if you want to catch some bass when you get in from a trip. Then you can go on the other side by the shrimp boats. I grew up around there and we fished the sides of the road and it’s the only place in the world where you can catch a limit of redfish and bass without a boat. It’s a shame we never owned any kind of boat other than an oyster boat.
Hey Brian.......I used to guide there in the 80s and 90s it was an incredible fishery and still is.....most customers wanted to go after the Redfish, but sometimes they wanted to go Bass fishing and that's my passion......I would have about 3 to 4 days of 200 to 300 Bass a day a year.....I miss that....I live in North Louisiana now.....much bigger fish up here but not as many
Thank you thank you thank you for your videos I have learned so much and living Soul by keresley through you. This will be on my list a places to go coming soon.
Hey brother another great video keep up the great work. Do you think that you will get a chance to fish the B.A.S.S master classic now that must of the pros left to go to Major league fishing Circuit
venice looks like a redfish hatchery bunch of young adult redfish in there... guess its rare to find one 20 pounds or so... i know my old man caught a 26 pounder in texas but that was back in the 70's xD
Man......do you allow any bruthas on your boat.......i never see you take your own kind on the water with you.......I mean its your boat and you do what you want, but wouldn't you wanna turn some of your own people on to fishing that otherwise may never have a chance to experience fishing??? Just wondering.....but do your thing man.......it just so noticeable because i watch so many of your videos but never see anyone that looks like you on them.......
@@djgruv why because I ask an obvious question......look at all his videos and you send to one where he has a person of color other than his son on his boat....then tell me who's the stupid one, genius.

During the summer when the river starts falling you can go out and have 100+ bass fishing days too.
Venice is the bomb ! I live about an hour from there and it’s amazing !

What time of the year is this? Looks like something I need to do.
Redfish bite all year long in Louisiana, but it’s even better when it’s cold.

They’re drumming not croaking.
LongviewGarage that’s interesting
Redfish: Actually named red drum, in the same family with black drum, hence why they say they’re drumming.
Redfish are the easiest fish in the water.
Collin oliver some days !!
