@manilaboy40 lol ppl that will come in cotact with foreigners can speak english (eg cab drivers) but we dont need english to talk to our brothers n sisters and thai people are hospitable to eachother first (regardless of red shirts) then we are also hospitable to others i lived in Japan 5yrs, America 7yrs, china 1yr and germany 2yrs all of them are good at something but no one is better at hospitality than Thai people cuz we are more forgiving and love fun stuff
well, I have to say i agree with you They said they will buy it for military support but only thing the carrier does is just rescue people from disasters or evacuations like tsumani, burma, or cambodia They said the carrier can contain a branch of jets but now i can only see it contain food, stuff for disaster helping. (some people believe that is ship has corruption by the former government)
anyway, i think for thai, carrier is more important and useful. Like i said, this carrier's never been in war or combat. Only thing it has done is rescure and evacuation. Like it helped Burma's disaster And evacuated Thai people when there was coup in Cambodia. Although F-16 can sink ships but thai also has radar cover all over the country. So we will know and we will be able to serve our Gripens, F-16s, F-5s in time before enermy sink a ship.

But now it is still just Conflict NOT War and Cambodian has very good experience in combat and know very well how to live in the forest because they experienced so many war differ than Thai which our last war took place very long long times ago and that area are full of landmines, Thai soldier, a little bit dumb, don't know what is landmines, so they didn't be careful about it. But if this conflict develop to WAR, Thai'll easily win

Well, there is know no any reason for Thai to fight with Malaysia or any neighbors. Thai army is established just to protect the country But anyway, Malaysia spends 1,690,000,000 US Dollar but Thai spends 5,000,000,000 US Dollar in military. i know Malaysia must have very strong navy because there country was divided with the big sea in the between but meanwhile,Thai has much stronger air force and a little bit stronger in army. But most of Thai military budget goes for air force, not navy
