Years and years and years ago when Nigel was the World Champion, I with my old man used to take holiday makers up to Mount Teide, Tenerife. So it was absolutely pissing it down up there and as we were going along we see Nigel on his own running up the mountain. So my Dad winds the window down and goes Nigel you want a lift? He replies "No mate today is my birthday and this is my birthday present!". Fair enough we wished him well and carried on. I was only about 18 but right there I realised the dedication you need to be a World Champion.

Routing for Ben brought tears to my eyes seeing him on the pier with his Dad. Me and my old man was just as close but lost him few years back all the best mate go and get the win ! Make your old man proud

The marketing team behind this fight is the best ive ever seen. I had no idea who these 2 were and i usually just watch the big canelo fights and the biggest names in boxing but now that I found out about this fight im so invested and just watching so many videos and just seeing so many videos.

The mind games aside, Eubank Jr really has his head screwed on. I’d be very surprised if he allowed Benn into the fight in any significant way. Make no mistake, he is NOT taking Benn lightly.

Seeing nigel benn with his son, makes me so grateful I have two of them to share that relationship with. Its really a blessing when you grew up without a father like myself. Makes me realise what I missed out on, and I look forward to having that time with my boys 👊

It's great that Eubank Jr Realises that cutting the weight and coming in at a catchweight is fair because most fighters would play on that and use it as an excuse.

I think I would’ve tried to get Conor out of this fight personally if I was his Dad.
I know they’re obviously prize fighters and they’ll both be getting life altering amounts of money but this could also end Conor’s career because I simply don’t think he’s good enough, or durable enough to be in the ring against Junior.
He’s gonna get stopped that’s for sure, just hope he doesn’t get too hurt.

It’s like the emperor’s new clothes tale; his own father has lied to him telling him he’s better than he was, when he clearly isn’t, and now he’s going to get destroyed because of it.
This is a fight that I genuinely... really, really don't care who wins. I know it's gonna be entertaining for sure.. and that's all that really matters. I hope we get a stoppage...

Father and son relationship really has deep impact and emotion to me.

I have total respect for both the Eubanks and the Benns, both dads are legends and both sons have done so well in there careers, it must have been difficult to live under the shadow of your dads achievements yet they are both world class boxers achieved by there own merit, also the bond they share with there dads is truly heartwarming to see, good luck to both fighters on saturday night, whatever happens im sure you will both smash it 👊👊

Seeing my hero Nigel running in a location like that, reminds me of when he used to run up Mount Tiede in training camps for his fights. Was just what he needed to improve his stamina and it showed in the ring. He's still in great shape and it must be a blessing for Conor to have him in camp, physically training alongside him and not just stood on the sidelines. Good luck Conor. 🙏🏽💙👏🏽
I remember him training up there for Wharton thinking he might get KO'd but he boxed Henry on the backfoot & stayed out of a tear up. Great days
I loved Nigel but he was never a stamina fighter. Struggled as he would tell you himself after 6 rounds

Nigel Benn SR humility is so wholesome to see. Truly inspirational how he is able to praise his son with such admiration. I can tell that his fight with Gerald McClellan changed his life on how he viewed boxing. He met that man again in a wheelchair and without any memory of what had happened in their fight, you could see the pain in Benn's eyes. Glad to see that his family is continuing the journey.
Aw so cute and healt felt when Connor said: I'm a product of your parenting. I'm a product of you". Seems they have a great relationship.

My distaste for the Ubanks Continues although i have softened to them, i skipped the Ubank parts and just watched watched the Benns, the best bits imo, loved the old man fighting and hope his son does him and us all proud Saturday night, God bless you both, LEGENDS no matter what happens.

Seeing Nigel and Conor together on the pier was a nice moment. I kind of morbidly really like Chris Eubank Junior as well. Such a shame his dad is not in the build up for this, it's too much for him. I kind of don't really want either of them to lose, can it be a draw please?

Benn seems to have a better environment for the building up to this fight. I suspect Eubank is just putting on a show and pretending to take it lightly, but he's preparing as well as ever. That refuelling clause could really be a problem if the fight is fought at a fast pace and drags into the late rounds. It could be interesting because of the unpredictable situation with rehydration. We'll see.
I’m a big fan of Benn sr & jr but it makes me feel for eubank seeing Conor’s camp when his dad is nowhere to be seen.
@@MrJonojono34 not only that not even Roy Jones either BUT I saw an interview with Roy Jones and he said he has been speaking with Chris Junior every day multiple times so i guess he is coaching him that way and just not getting involved in the physical preparation side of it.
