Fantasic Captain! I'm enjoying a cup of coffee whilst enjoying the latest video. I'm very excited for your trip. What month do you plan on leaving? Will you be doing any fishing along the way? I'm on the east coast of NC and plan to do the loop when my kids move out. My wife says she will be up for the challenge and we can't wait. Stay blessed Captain Foote! 🐟🐟🐟

Hey Captain ! Up until today, I was thinking about leaving in May of 2023 from Hudson, NY. My oldest son lives Southwest of Boston and he suggested I leave from Providence RI. So, today might be leaving from Providence. I will bring my fishing gear. It's always good to be prepared.

@@boatupdiningguy6334 I love all of the planning you are doing. I highly recommend purchasing The Loopers Companion Guide by Captain John. It's about $75 on Amazon. It will tell you about most every marina along the way(prices, amenities etc), when to leave depending on where you are launching from, local restaurants, anchorages..... You name it and it's in that book. I'm excited for you immensely. I hope your YT channel takes off. I can recommend many YT channels of folks doing the loop, but I know of only one guy currently doing the loop in a C Dory. He is going solo and is posting along the way(mostly audio). Hold on.... I will tell you the channel name. 👍

@@boatupdiningguy6334 the channel is called Y-Knot 22 C Dory. Check it out. It's very informative Captain. I can recommend other looper channels if interested? Have a good one. 😉👍

@@Captain_Clark_CDoryAdventures Thanks for the suggestion on Captain John's guide. I have purchased the "Waterway Guide" and have been considering purchasing Captain John's as well. I have been following Y-Knot on YT.

@@boatupdiningguy6334 sounds good Captain. If you know of any good channels of folks doing the loop in a smaller (22-26 foot) outboard powered boat, let me know. I'm always trying to learn new things. I will also look into the waterway guide. I'm familiar with it but never purchased it. Thanks buddy. 👍

Hi John, sorry for the delay. I was on a cruise in the Caribbean with limited internet I have not tested it yet. Foote Loose is currently in the shop getting the tack and tilt gauges repaired/replaced. I am leaving to spend Christmas with one of my sons by Boston until January 4th. Than I will test it and video it,
