I can’t stop thinking about it, I love orange tabby cats, it’s so sad yet I feel compelled to watch it , the poor cats expressions, the director is a genius. I read they filmed it with 3 cats and most of the time the rats and cats were separated , and only bought together during editing with camera tricks/cgi. One day I’m going to have a cat like Scully and will love it so much, I moved apartment last year and can’t have cats , my old place I couldn’t either but I had some visit me for food and company lol

I watched the original Willard today and it was more understandable to abandon the cat to some random stranger, at least he didn't kill it. For this, I think Willard deserves the fate he received in the original, eaten alive by his own rats. I heard he survived in this version, pathetic.

One of the coolest scenes ever the music fit perfectly and the end with the song fading out and the cat falling the weeks it must have took too make this is just incredible it’s the perfect amount of sad and addicting for it to be watchable again and again it is stupid cool how they did it

At the same time, Cathryn said she inherited this cat from her dead mother and she helped her through it, I wouldn't have given up such a precious animal. Gifting animals in general is a terrible idea all around. Much prefer the 70s version where Willard just gives the cat up to someone else, at least it can live instead of such a gruesome end.
This scene was so stupid. Very few movies use the death of an animal well. Splice did a good job because the cat in that movie was a plot point. This was just for the hurr durrs of some bad horror writers trying to illustrate how "evil" Ben is. When the whole point of the movie was to show Willard's decline. In the original he kills a dog by stuffing it into a sack full of his rats. The point was the rats were an extension of Willard's cruelty and crumbling mental state.
Accurate as fuck, I've had a swarm of rats in Downtown Toronto try to fucking rush me. They came out of a grate while I was just having some alone time in an alley. I was feeling sad that day, and just wanted to be isolated, sat on something in an alley, and a grate like 4 feet away just started spawning more fucking rats than vermintide the game. I got on top of something and moved away from them quick, and they went RIGHT BACK INTO THE GRATE. FUCKING SCARY BRO.
