Sis I’m just gon have to say it bc nobody brave enough to say it but I don’t like how you just made me a subbie. I watched several videos and yours was the most realistic, laid down, buss down sew in method I’ve seen thus far. You ate that thing down!
Listen, I give credit where credit is due Hunny you just taught an old dog new tricks. I have struggled with my closures melting without glue Sis you DID THAT!!!! 25 yrs. in the industry and you taught me something new, thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Sis, this video came in clutch for me. I normally don't do closures, frontals, none of that just traditional sew in BUT TUHNIGHT... my niece wanted a closure sew in, and I couldn't tell her nooooooo... hunty, I watched your video until I got cross eye and did it for my niece she was soooooo happy, and she don't play about her hair but only wanted me to do it... AND I DID!!! I'm going to do more until I get great at it, but I feel more confident... you got me#subscribed
This is one of the best most thorough sewin closure tutorials I have ever seen. Thank you so much. I was able to learn and enhance a few new techniques. I will be sure to use them on my next client. 😊
You are one of many that can do this! I’m in west palm beach , FL and hairstylist charge so much $165+ for closure “sew in” just to add adhesive to the closure. That grinds my gears!!!!! Why is it consider sew in if you’re gonnna use glue. I wish they all can follow with this method!!!!! Thank you I appreciate this.
the sew-in part is usually referring to sewing down the tracks, meaning the lace melting (glue) is apart. you’d have to specify if you want differently but that’s where the “sew-in” comes from. but i agree $165 is absolutely absurd.
I just called myself doing a sew in closure and I obviously had no clue what I was doing. I have been watching videos for a few days and don't know why THIS video showed up after the fact! When I tell you this video is 🔥🔥🔥 I am SURE I can go do this the RIGHT way. Kudos to you! Thank you!!! You have another new subscriber!!
Thanks so much for sharing ❤. I am a braider and loctician, but I have 1 client who gets a glue less sew in every once in a while, and it's always a struggle. This video helps so much.
Amazing install techniques! I learned so much from this video. This is the best video I’ve seen that shows how to avoid bunching up of the closure while also neatly blending the thread when sewing down behind there first braid
had to pause the video to comment, that anchor track is such a smart idea! I’ve always wondered how to lay down the closure without the glue when sewing/going glueless
@@amberallreal9675 i did a sew in closure a few days ago & used your technique and it worked. the closure didn’t slide back like it usually does. & it looked like it was glued down. the front wasn’t all flappy lol. literally the best video on youtube & i’ve watched MANY throughout the years. thank you 😊🙏🏾 & you’re welcome ❤️
Very informative! I was doing a similar method and very close to glueless but was finding myself still not being 100% seamless and that anchor piece is a game changer! Thank you!!!
Just found your video and wish I’ve seen it before I did my client this morning. Such an amazing technique ❤. Thank you 🙏🏾 do much for sharing. Just subscribed 😊…
Thank you soooo very much for sharing! I can't deal with glue especially with how disrespectful this heat has been! I would sweat it out! Your video was so detailed and you actually showed closeup of what it looked like! I'm going to have my daughter do an install for me. The only variation is that i will be getting a side part. Thanks so much for being detailed and not gatekeeping on the technique! Many blessings to you! Can you share what size and kind of closure this is and where you got it?
No problem I hope this video helps. The closure was a 4x4 but this method also works with 5x5. The closure was provided by me. My hair company is www.crownedsilkhair.co
Thank you for this video, I tried this method last week and it turned out beautiful. I don’t like the glue method this is the best alternative, thank you again
Good question! If you listened to the video and technique, there’s a certain amount of tension used when sewing down the closure so NOTHING can move it…no wind? You can even go swimming with this technique
Yes but a reinstall would be the exact same process ❤️ This style doesn’t need a maintenance because it is not glued down but if you were to wash it it should stay in place if installed correctly
If you wanted to do a side part for instance you would need to change the braid pattern. Basically Wherever you put the part in your braid pattern is where your closure part will be
Thank you soooo much. I did my first last night. Jacked that thing up so bad honey. The edge 1 inch info is what I was missing. Honey we ended up with just a sewing and glueing the front down.
Thanks!
Thank you so much! I appreciate your support!!! 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾

Yes this definitely will! Good luck
Your work is beautiful.
Thank you very much!
Great job🎉
… I’d like to see it in movement though. What does the sideburns on the edges look like when a gust of wind picks up the hair?
Good question! If you listened to the video and technique, there’s a certain amount of tension used when sewing down the closure so NOTHING can move it…no wind? You can even go swimming with this technique
The edges will be her own, you can use edge control to tame them in case the wind blows, that’s all someone would be able to see
This tutorial is golden!!!! 🌟 I tend to be quite slow when it comes to sew ins. How long did this install take you with such thorough techniques?
3 hrs
This video was so informative and you literally Ateee Dowwwnnn🙌🏾 I wish they had the Ate down emoji 😂😂 Definitely subbed ❣️
The technique has to become more common!!
Excellent job

Can you do a closure reinstall or maintenance video?
Yes but a reinstall would be the exact same process ❤️ This style doesn’t need a maintenance because it is not glued down but if you were to wash it it should stay in place if installed correctly

Hi can you make a video constructing a side part sew in. I love your video’s
Sure 💞
This is phenomenal 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Question, is it able to be parted anyway or should I do a different braid pattern each time?
If you wanted to do a side part for instance you would need to change the braid pattern. Basically Wherever you put the part in your braid pattern is where your closure part will be
New subbie!!!!! Love it !!! Keep the videos coming ❤️
Thanks for subbing!

Beautiful u did a great job❤❤❤
Thank you! 🤗
This came out beautiful!! ❤❤❤ New subbie💯
Thanks for subbing!
Quick question . When you parted behind the first braid and sewed between or basically on the lace to the braid how do you prevent ripping ?
It shouldn’t be ripping. I’ve NEVER had that issue…I’m only sewing the lace down onto the braid basically so that won’t cause any ripping
She's a great at this do subscribe 👌🏾
Thank you so much!
This is amazing !!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
