I question the wisdom of paying 2,3 times the price just to save 15 lbs of weight for a battery. I rather use an automotive battery in experimental planes, is far cheaper. A few times a year, I connect a battery desulphater to it for a week or so, never need another battery since I bought that $15 desulphater. The cursed word "certified" are holding things up in aviation while automotive technology advanced in leaps and bound.
