After posting an edit about a very popular ship, here I am back with my brand of niche TV shows that will only interest like 10 people asjskslk. A niche TV show that somehow finally inspired me enough to make a video that's over 2:30 minutes though like how long has it been since the last one???
Anyways. I went into Leverage with zero expectation, simply because I did not know a thing about it apart from the fact that there was a B99 fic inspired by one of its episodes on AO3. And well, let's just say I ended up loving it... A LOT. It had (still has since I actually love the revival too lol) everything I love in a show, starting with an off-the-charts found family and so much silliness accompanied with the right amount of drama. And Parker. God did I fall in love with yet another blonde character so hard and so fast ashskjsks.
Also these two remind me so much of Peraltiago sometimes, of course I have to love them. I wish every show that lost half of their ship because an actor had to leave treated them the way they've been treated in Redemption. Like okay he's not gone gone but still, they could have done them soooo dirty but instead they're just still so in love and we still get crumbs even in the episodes he can't be in and they have Hardison's name mentioned pretty much all the time and I'm just. so happy about it. (ALSO THE MATCHING NECKLACES!!!)
I'm actually very obsessed with whatever's going on between them and Eliot too btw like the three of them together are everything to me ♥
(I have the perfect song for an edit of them but alas the only scene pack I have is of these two - which is already so amazing tbh given how unknown this show seems to be, especially in editing places.)
Truly truly can't wait to have my little found family back later this year like I couldn't have picked a better time to watch that show :') And so well if there are other Leverage enjoyers here, I hope you'll like this little thing! If not and you've still watched this, I highly recommend the show if you're looking for something comforting.
Also I couldn't use this song and not mention THE Peraltiago edit to me, the one that made me truly watch the show that ended up being such a huge part of my life for so long... aka. Emily's masterpiece:
