I really appreciate when older palettes are used in videos! I literally stopped watching a lot of makeup videos that are put out now because I’m like, “Well I can try and def recreate the look with the colors I have..but I definitely can’t buy that palette.” Lol more TH-camrs should def do this I love it. 👌

I won’t be able to recreate this look ABH cancelled my order today saying that my credit card details don’t match my address details. Well that’s weird I’ve used them before with many other companies in USA & UK with no problems. I called them trying to get it reinstated but they wanted full price for items that were on sale & 25% off cart total as I had ordered over $250. Then I put another order in yesterday for a further $200 but these were not what I really wanted from the first order so I said if you couldn’t fix the first order you can cancel the second as it was part of a set in two orders.... So upset that this happened I was looking forward to seeing what their products were like 😔😖😭🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️☹️😢
Perfect timing on this video. I just received the ABH Soft Glam & Modern REN in the Black Friday sale. I got them both for $40.00. I’ve wanted these for so long. My first palette was the original Norvina pallet. I’ve wanted the others to complete my collection. I love the look you did today. I think these shadows are easy to work with. As usual there is kick up in the pan so use a light hand when dipping in to these shadows. 🥰🥰🥰

I love your eye shadow tutorials, I remember (quite a while back) that you did a cool toned look with the Modern Renaissance, and that's when you got me haha. My preference is neutral eye shadows, both neutrals as in neutral shades meaning not colorful, and also with neutral undertones. I'm not as obsessed with very, extremely warm toned shadows that everyone seems to go crazy over, I mean I wear and like warm toned shadows as well of course but not really a big fan of those super warm shades that just looks straight up red, I like it more leaning neutral and I also enjoy cool toned looks. I do think I look slightly better with cool toned eyes shadows than warm toned, but that could also be a personal preference of mine. I'm rambling, however, most people seem to be doing warm toned eye shadow looks over all here on TH-cam, and also Modern Renaissance is mostly a warm toned palette. But I saw the title being something like "cool toned look with Modern Renaissance", and it looked so beautiful in the thumbnail and I was like yeees, finally a change from all the warmth :) People should embrace more cool toned shadows as well, it feels like some people (some) just refuse to even try cool tones cause they are so set on warm tones, and everyone loves their warm shadows :) The look you did in that video (the cool toned look tutorial) is one of my go to looks with the MR palette from Anastasia. So of course I came back for more inspiration, but with the Soft Glam palette now, obsessed with this look! So beautiful, so thankful for your tutorials, I often lack fantasy when it comes to eye shadow looks and which colors to combine with each other, want to get more use out of the palettes I own. I'm "copying", or maybe I should say recreating, same same? This look next weekend! xoxo

Angela Bright I just think they’re so versatile! Can pretty much create anything from soft and subtle to deep and glam! More so the JH because you’ve got those pops of colour in them to completely transform any look! They both blend beautifully and are just perfect travel palettes! 😊
