- I wasn't buying it on Youthberk's initial reveal, waiting to see what support might make this card nuts... and boy did they not disappoint.

#CFV #CardfightVanguard #ヴァンガード - บันเทิง
Basic observation after playtesting the #newBerk with my friends (vs Messiah, Orfist Masque, Granfia and PBO), here are some of my observations, hopefully it can provide a bit references and help to fellow Youth players:
1. Fergosa must be ran at 4, no questions asked. Not only she helps speed up Full Blast (+5K actually matters more than I initially thought), but she also helps avoid going Bricks (consider how many non-RG G3 we have to ran. Corino can be ran between 3-4 (I am sitting on 3 currently) and she is THE irreplaceable G1 besides Sequana.
2. Please do notice that both Fergosa and Corino only need a "Youth" Vanguard, thus rushing on T1-T2 while accumulating Revolforms as souls are especially important now. Our goal is to reach Fullblast as soon as turn 3 (if not, Tempest [going first] ; Tempest/Gust [going second] on T3, this provides immense pressure on T4 decks and stride decks, so Youth is no longer a deck that specializes on grinding, it has considerable power going first or second now.
3. Keep running Sequana at 4, she is the 10K booster after all, also fuels souls for Fergosa draw. I was initially running her at 3, but there are a fee games I was unable to fill 3 revolforms into soul and have to resort on Tempest, her added drive along with Tempest's signature card advantage allows me to survive opponent's big turn 3 and finishes them off at turn 4 with Gust.
4. Do ran Gust and Zest 2 copies each. Ideally we only need one each since we do have Drop recursion now, but to activate Full Blast's full potential, we can't afford to have either one of them going to damage zone on early turns. The odds are small but don't take the chance against you. Also due to Fergosa and Corino, we have enough deck-thinning to disregard bricking.
5. That leaves us two empty spots for the deck after those slots plus PG, triggers and ride deck, I choose to add two Schneizal, helps us to filter all the extra revolforms. Deck-thiniing is deck-winning after all.
16 Triggers (7 Crit+4 effect fronts+Over+4 Heals [2 effect Heals])+4 Ride Deck+3 SkyFall+4 FullBlast+2 Tempest+2 Gust+2 Zest+4 Fergosa+2 Schneizal+4PG+3 Corino+4 Sequana. I am finding lots of success and fun on this build. I did try to squeeze Dolbriag, Spiral Cutie Angel and Wayward Angels but sadly no space.
Phew, I did not expect to type that many words, but hopefully this can provide you some insight and references ☺
Did you ever run into situation where u are out of attackers on t3 i feel like i do most of the times mainly because corino doesnt recycle herself when you discarded it
For my flex slot, I might go for 1-2 Tolpaz instead of Schneizal. Tolpaz can call from top 5 which can help you getting Fergosa or Corino. Since it calls from deck, Corino will proc. It's also a 20k shield in case of emergency.
@@dennykurniawan4545 Thus I only ran 3 copies of Corino (Initially I was running 4 Corino and 3 Sequana, but on my Messiah and PBO match-up, I realized once I reached FullBlast's maximum output, there is not much use of her). Her only flaw is unlike Wayward Angel, she cannot recycle.
My game plan is to mulligan as many cards as possible to get many copies of Fergosa and Corino, trying best to reach FullBlast max output on turn 3, then adjusting the game plan depends on the game state and opponent's match-up. After doing that, I never had problems running out attackers (on the game versus Messiah and Orfist, I have to resort on using Revolform as rearguard but with Fergosa, Schneizal and Seuquana I have enough fire power to get things done
@@730Flare I like that idea! so 1-2 Tolpaz (depending on whether I ran 3-4 Corino) can increase the consistency of the deck.
I was running Schneizal since for too many testing games I find out that I have to rely on Sequana and Revolform on front row RG during turn 4 kill turn (espcially Messiah and PBO match-up) which I am not a fan of. Thus my mind went straight to our old-reliable friend to add more deck-thinning.
I will definitely try it (funny that I ran Elmeida [Stoichea cat] in my Vivace test build but I forgot Tolpaz for Keter, silly me), so the last two slots will be either 2 Spiral Cutie [I really really want to ran her XD], 1-2 Tolpaz or 1-2 Schneizal.
Thanks for the advice!
Amazing how the opinion for Fullblast went from 'IF you think this is good, you're coping' to... 'THIS IS BUSTED'
The power of good support cards
No one is saying it’s busted, literally only DF thinks it is.
The deck is way to highroll now for Fullburst to work.
@@ThyranGI tested it and yeah it is pretty strong
@@ThyranG Literally has support cards that search entire deck and drop for good measure to set up full blast. Hardly highroll reliant
@@cyburn7797thats not it..the thing is u can put all the grades 3 from deck without even checking them leaving ur triggers w8ing.. that's the insane part after playtesting it(hitting OT) more easily as well
Tested the fullblast with full support, i still think this is not the right direction for Youthberk because Youth has never been a highroll deck and they wanted to turn it into highroll deck, Youth has always been a deck that outgrind your opp and the only thing missing from the deck is a finisher that would replace gust, fullblast is basically removing that side of playstyle from youthberk to turn it into highroll deck
We are getting a promo that counts as zest, tenpest and gust.
@@yuseifudo7987 where did you get that from?, send link please.
Right now it looks like set 13 meta will be a mix of FullBlast, Drajeweled Ignis and Vivace. Though FullBlast's personal effect is the weakest out of the three, it makes up for it by reaching its full potential the fastest, as early as the first grade 3 ride. The question is, what will Jheva's place be in the meta? Stravairina means a complete counter to just about any Dragontree or rear-reliant deck, which isn't bad. But beyond that, will these new support cards be enough for it to throw hands with FullBlast, Ignis or Vivace?
Nah jheva is way too resource intensibe
Considering how Jheva now removes markers as well as board wipes and gets Triple Drive, I wonder if it will have premium implications as a finisher
New cards are cool and all but lets talk about that POSTER! I need that art on sleeves, playmat, and on my wall!
Finally I don’t have to cope for Jheva 😭
Seeing the Stravairina effect got me thinking: Please burn that Dragontree to ashes.
Ok, now Fullblast looks insane(turn 3 Fullblast is not only possible, but relatively easy to do).
New Vairina and his prayers are also very good, the thing is that i don't think it will make XoD a viable deck. Not because is bad, far from it, but because of the nature of XoD, it still is a mechanic that requires too much pieces(but i can be wrong).
Deck profile for youthberk post set 13?
Youthbros we're so back!
I'm still waiting for an Angel ride line in Keter Sanctuary.
In my opinion the support cards saved FullBlast - it doesn’t +2 like Tempest so Tempest is the better revolform UNTIL you can get FullBlast’s full effect off and the new support makes it easy to get that full effect
-_- Full Blast full effect can easily be achieved before you even ride into Youthberk.
Zest! Gust! Tempest!
Full Blast!
Can you imagine garou using the prayer dragon that lets you guard 2?…. 20K power Guard 3 card (A must?)
Not even worried. Youth saved 🙂
The new Vairina plus Vailord.......
Now that's Youth~
Double Rares have saved youthberk once again. It’s always the double rares LMAO just like with Sequana and Wayward in Set 7
they really said “lets make this broken card more broken”
Missed opportunity to say BROKEN in the title…the rock has been broken.
My obligatory they should bring this set into dear days because every rrr is a banger
Varina finally can do everything
I’m still thinking Youthberk need a Grade 4 RevolForm version that can reride a Grade 3 RevolForm from your soul as Stand after done attacking & the Grade 3 RevolForm can use all its effects until the end of turn, so Skyfall ➡️ Grade 4 RevolForm ➡️ any Grade 3 RevolForm, way faster than Full Blast since it requires all Grade 3 RevolForm in the soul to activate all its effects
They don't need a G4 anymore but can still get another G3 better than fullblast.
You can easily set up full blast for turn 3 with the support so a g4 wouldn’t necessarily be quicker
@@cyburn7797 Exactly
@@cyburn7797 I want that extra attack to pressure the opponent if they perfect guard my Grade 4 RevolForm, that means I can run less RevolForm, most of the time you will just reride Tempest from soul for extra draw & destroy intercept
Reposting from somewhere else:
The rock has been broken
To play devil's advocate I think people might have been upset because big names in the community were actively shitting on a card before its entire support is revealed. To couple it with the fact now people are going OMG HURHURHUR ITS BUSTED. Thats why it's annoying tbh...
Though honestly fergossa was already revealed so it's shown for a very long time that full last would still get cards to set him up fast.
Thats what im saying! Fergossa was basically fully revealed in the anime and it was good and we KNEW we were getting more support for him. Ppl were dooming out the gate.@@nekoluxuria7721
Technically Speaking that first prayer means if you fight ghriphogila then… plus 20K power???? 22K if we count the grade 11
Honestly, i don't wanna see a deck "saved". I wanna see them getting into a 150$ value zone, like it was before Legion format.
its all up to the secondary market price. some tier 1 and tier 1.5 decks are relative cheap
oh boy new vairina has enough text to rival a ygo card lol
Shout-out to all of my Jheva bois, we're finally done coping
And we never got a Keter or DE Masques. Won't get one until next year when Set 14 comes out either
COPIUM
People are suspecting that the new Triple Booster will have the Masques for DE and KS as only those 2 nations will have new cards while every other nations only have reprints.
Forget breaking the rock, Youth is disintegrating it.
My feelings on Fullblast are similar to my feelings on DOTX in V. If The End was the resolve of a brave warrior laying their life on the line to defeat a great foe (double restand at the cost of your hand), The X is like a random person from the future who couldn't care less about fairness and bravery, and just casually shoots the guy (double restand for free). Youth was always about changing forms based on the situation (even though we knew Tempest was just better 99% of the time). Fullblast is now Unica 2.0. You turbo out crits into soul to get various effects, but instead of crits, they're now Revolforms. What made Revolforms unique is now taken away by Fullblast, just like what made The End truly feel like The "END" was taken away by The X.
It makes sense lore-wise though as he's just releasing the Skyfall Arms' full power which is all the previous RevolForms in one.
Youthberk FullBlast is fullblasting
Drajeweled ignis reviewwwww❤
Hells infinity
OMG Blazing Holy Sword Equip, Stravairina is here and the skills is a glorious great weekly vanguard.
16:33 I kid you not, when I saw the new vairina back in June, I knew it was going to be the key to destroying those dragontree markers.
just like how OG era have unlockers for the main chara deck
Jheva the exodia hahahaha
If it's alright. Could you make a video building the Jheva deck and talking about it? I would like to see your perspective
And its all still completly irrelevant, cause tournament season ends before set 13 is Legal. It doesnt matter how good the decks can potentially be when they cant be played anyway...
does the jp format not exist or what lol
hahahahaha
For what its worth, I've never had any interest in youthberk, so like...whatever take you have good or bad, I'll not be mad at you. Although you crapping on unica felt kinda cruddy, but I'm not gonna bash you for that either, just politely disagree (even if though you're right)
Cause it is true.
Alright, Bushi can now stop cooking to save the Youth and can now focus on cooking that sweet defensive mechanic the game needs so badly
Suddenly the kids whining about Full Blast last weekend are the real clowns. Seriously how many times have I seen this song and dance already even back in the original series? It's like these people expect cards to single-handedly carry them to Tier 0...
It's always the same thing with this community, cards gets revealed>people proceed to call it trash and whine online> cards comes out and become meta.
They only have been right like twice back with Zazan and V Luard.
Funniest thing is in the very episode Raika used the card that just sent a Revolform from deck to soul and apparently none of those guys caught that?
I thought it would be playable, not amazing, then they created 2 CAC’s 😂
i mean, it was pretty bad on first impression...im not the people who whine, but it was a really bland and hard to achieve power without the new supports
everybody with a brain agrees that the deck bricks
@@dragostorm259it was not the full effect...Kris also said it in the video
Why are they making archetype cards look so basic, I'm not going to play the youth cards on bastion.
Give us more archetype based artwork, why does orfist get away with it and we can't 😢
Fullburst is still mediocre as a deck even with this support.
The support made it *playable* but still faces the problem of everything else doing that same mechanic, but better with less pieces needed.
The same 4 people will gaslight themselves into thinking its broken, itll top once or twice(in team format where itll be carried), then never be seen again because it’s extremely highroll and relies on the stars to align to even work.
Suddenly everyone criticizing Full Blast are quiet af XD
