The only aim in Rust is to grief. To do this you will need to overcome struggles such as mic spam, cheaters and being called various r*cial sl*rs. Build a wall around supermarket. Build a Trap Base. Kill new players for fun. Protect yourself from hackers, and don't play on official servers. Create alliances with other players and form a town, and then immediately get raided by 20 people. Do whatever it takes to survive.

When I very first started out, I wanted it to be easy, so I played on a vanilla PvE server.
And even vanilla isn't super hard to stack loot on, you just godda find somewhere safe(ish) to get started.
It feels like an advertisement for the server tbh with 1/4th the video just covering the store

No, the admins can see who placed what entities, it's like when Camomo tracks cheaters to see how many bases they have. Admins will always know which players placed stuff.

fake pop for sure but still a lot of people playing. I play this from time to time when I want hit 1 barrel, put quick base and have some pvp on oils, but I never understand people who donate to this.. Admins on this type of server are just kids or totally braindead/lazy.
Vital also makes massive clan servers pop is real. Clans usually play here when raided on main server etc

It's a main scene 10x server, multiple 50 man's, they play for 1 day, build base do 5k+ rocket raids log off.

It's a main scene 10x for clans, groups get these kits for free if they bring players to the server, it's so you can do 2k+ rocket raids 2 hours in and get your base up instantly without even farming.

As you get older, the time to play gets shorter but you also usually have more income to spend.
But why they don't just play on 100+X servers is the real question.

@@marcel-q1m The whole dopamine comes from farming and slaughtering other players for loot, if you get everything at the beginning, there is no incentive, nor dopamine for you to stay longer than 3-4 hours before calling it quits.
will say vital is extremely PTW, though the 30k+ rocket raids can be fun but, admins are a little wack

i get the p2w crashing but you literally just showed everyone the way to crash any server they want, ive already experienced this numerous times on build servers and its so fucking annoying.
That will require either a high modded server or a zerg on non modded, moded is easier but they can easily make a plugin that warns about player placing high amount of entities/disallow players to place those etc.
Its going to take forever to pull this off on a non modded server

The majority of rust servers or anything in general who put on a discout tag usually is a marketing gimmick to make u think its on a discount while it isnt some rust servers have had that discount tag for a whole year and its never changed xd

I admin for a non p2w Rust server. I can't tell you how infuriating it is to have people spamming lag or talking shit to admins while you are trying to fix ddos. But they deserve it for having a p2w server xD

The worst part is people actually play these servers, and buy these kits and if you call them out for p2w they say “if ur broke just say so”. Ik hosting a rust server probably isn’t profitable, but this is not the way to fix that.
Pay to win servers also have blatantly shit admins. A restart won't fix anything, roll back the server 1 hour, see if it helps reduce lag. If it fixes some, roll back another hour.
I think not teleporting players and going back to the main island would have been better since the lag would have lasted way longer and you could hear players cry down their mic.
I like the (paying) playerbase complaining about a legitimate issues, and the admins iron fisting everyone for complaining. Nice.
Imagine being that salty as an admin that you mute all those complaining for roughly 70 days... Crazy...

Ive had a few rust servers, all high-modded. In general, i was just thinking of having a server with plenty of events going and pure fun. With that aswell having alot of paid plugins. I do understand the serverowners having too making vip packages but having it overprices as hell only ruins the game in general. If i would had any paid vip i might get like 5 too max 15dollars a month with plenty of non-paying too win. But more.. access too more electricity from the test-generator, suicide-vests, ability too use signal for spawning helitiers, more harder convoy or even the kamikaze-drones.. Thats not even buy too win as we know it. Please do take down those overpriced servers!

Any rust server with pay to win mechanics should 100% be fucked with. Ya'll shouldnt have told any, and split up multiple groups around the maps ocean and had them placing kayaks, until they literally had to wipe the server. Then everyone that purchased anything recently would have a legit reason to refund.
Just find a way to dupe on the server so you don't waste hours playing a pay to win server. That's what youtubers do on Minecraft pay to win servers.

And I thought my $20 legendary VIP was to much, but to charge that much these owners just want to get paid and not have to work.. Mine is just to cover the server bill and plugins players request.. I work 6 days a week to cover my own bills

Just a quick fyi, vital servers are clan servers the whole point of them is too like team up with literally like 30people and build huge bases and raid other 30man clans. They are also super boosted to make it just constant pvp and no farming, I’m not supporting the p2w I’m just seeing a lot of people wondering why anyone would play this server and that is why. Also it’s not fake pop vital is one of the most popular modded rust servers there is.
I dont like this kind of games yet I have rust on steam when it was on Alpha. Now I tried to play it for the first time and my pc went like "nuh huh, you aint playing this cancer" and killed it self by restarting out of nowhere.

The admins told us we can’t raid a bounty clan online as a 5 man while we where they where hard cheating and the clan goes and offline us (vital 10x)

I like your vids but you are not following through. You stop them too quickly. After doing 500 kayaks in one location do the same in like 6 places spread out at the edges. After it lags like crazy start doing other lag machines that would stay after a restart maybe you could use the industrial system somehow where it isn't noticeable or lights inside a triangles not visible. Continue until they have to wipe.

I don't get this, why does it matter to you who don't even play there if they are selling kits? Servers aren't free to run. Admining isn't free. Good servers should pay their crew who spend hours upon hours to keep the game safe from exploiter and cheater.

the hole point of vital is for giant clans, also admins just give those kits away. Sure its pay to win, however if your rolling 20-40 deep it doesnt matter. Not to mention those kits dont activate until 2 hours into wipe, since its a clan server.
Gupp is literally taking on scummy rust serves and I love it, sucks for the kids who probably spend a lot of time on there, at the same time it’s good to crash these severs. Mom and dads CC need a break.

look i get it man but i work 65 hrs plus most times i dont have time to farm or be on a team so a pay to win server is my go to because i can just be full kit and do a monument or so it saves time i dont have man. i get that they can be overpowered in many ways but just raid me then you can have the same kits we all win
Shouldn't have tpd players there, instead should have gone to the opposite side of the map and tried placing half of the entities there, like or better yet, 4 people split into 4 cardinal directions, go out into the ocean as far as you can and start competing who can place more before the lag begins, then when it does start, just die or tp out, the server will be forced to reset if they cant find it.
Seems completely fair and justified to me. Maybe you could try this again and offer to sell an anti-lag kit in chat?
I went a different method on vital, we ruined outpost for a whole day by placing 3,000 tape recorders over the vendor who sells the helicopters, and lets just say there was a massive que for helicopters and everyone kept clicking play, as well as another team constantly heli bombing
And then puts it out there so others can lag other servers. If owners dont see this and apply a limit/disable them to craft or buy. Scumbaggy
