Another place I have tons of photos of. I have a pretty cool one of snow falling inside the Iron Furnace. Freedom Falls is beautiful when the creek if flowing (I hate that so many people go there just to leave it a mess and litter). Awesome video!

Yes, that Furnace is very much still intact and very interesting . I hear you about the graffiti Bud ,I don't understand people either. People just don't seem to have respect for anything anymore.

Yes , on the info board for the Furnas it says good iron ore was found upstream from the Furnas area. From that I would assume a mine is nearby.
