I remember being a freshman in high school and RUSHING over to my friend's house after school to watch MTV videos! Billy Idol, Def Leppard, Duran Duran, ZZ Top, John Mellencamp, Eurythmics, Talking Heads, The Police, U2, Van Halen, UB40, MIchael Jackson, Rolling Stones. Just one good video after another.
I was a heavy metal vomit party kid, so we watched for the metal videos which weren't as common. Still enjoyed countless others (even tho I wasn't supposed to): Kajagoogoo, Wham, GoGos, Bangles, Prince, Huey Lewis, and various new wave like New Order. I appreciate SO much more now than I did then, and realize I took way too much for granted. That was long before rap and grunge that destroyed music, creativity and talent, and today's artificial music. I do enjoy some of today's obscure genres, but not much.

You know he is still performing today and sounds incredible, his voice is still great and the group sounds better than ever! He recently did an entire live concert near Las Vegas at Hoover Dam outside in the canyon below the dam with guest singers and musicians, you should check it out for yourself.
There are in fact, longer versions of both White Wedding and Rebel Yell...so yes there is a part 2. You might also want to look at Black Wedding by In This Moment...sadly they did not get Billy to feature on it but there is a special guest appearance, and it does feel like a sequel of sorts. ⚘️

Look up the one performed live it's on TH-cam at the Santa Monica High School charity event or whatever it is kid where the school band and choir backed him up and his band live on stage. It is a surprisingly short song, and I definitely know what you mean by expectations going unfulfilled. Last time I recomme3nded Cradle of Love - I'll stick with that, but I think you'll also like Mony Mony and To Be A Lover. Finally, I would add his 2021 song Bitter Taste is criminally underrated. His vocals are still fantastic today, his song writing hasn't diminished - and it's nearly 5 min long. Just sayin. Another thing I would point out. A huge amount of the magic of Rebel Yell is the guitar work of Steve Stevens. When you were doing Michael Jackson's music, you skipped over one of his best - and "chunckiest" - songs, Dirty Diana, which features some iconic guitar work from Stevens. The word iconic gets thrown around a lot but in the case of Dirty Diana, Stevens efforts genuinely are iconic. Definitely worth checking out. This coming from someone who isn't really a particularly big fan of Michael Jackson - but that song rocks.

Love your attempt at a scream Bisscute!😂 You are real onery today! IMO "Rebel Yell" is the best from Billy Idol. Other up-tempo songs are "Mony, Mony" live and Dancing With Myself. I prefer "Flesh For Fantasy" & "Hot In The City".
