CLT Airport Overlook

We took a day trip to see the new Charlotte Airport Overlook. Planes were landing on the entrance side of the park and taking off from the city side. It was so hot and humid that day so we could only stay for about an hour. The restrooms were not open yet, but they did have temporary ones to use until. The covered seating was nice to watch the planes unless you wanted to sit at one of the many benches or picnic tables. The playground was nice for the little kids and the excitement on their faces every time a plane landed or took off was priceless. All in all, it was a good time and will go back when its cooler out and the food trucks are there.
