Chie doesn't stand out , he's performing like "ito Ako , gan'to kaya ko Gawin, Hindi nyo kaya to, Ako lang may kaya nito, compared sa performance ni Wilson na "Kaya natin to"

I kind of agree pero I think one could also argue that the other members were underwhelming. Pero I agree pa rin, as a group, hindi nag-blend yung boses nila dahil do'n.

This was a battle for best vocals. In my opinion, Chie delivered. He stood out and was consistent the entire song. He was confident and got the energy that was evident with the way he danced too and did not just focus on his vocals. I agree that Wilson has a unique tone, very now and suitable for a boy group. I just feel that for this performance, Chie should have ranked first. I am encouraging everyone to VOTE for the DREAM MAKER who deserves to stay based on their TALENT since visuals can still be improved. 🙏

Chie is good specially dun sa high notes part but for me talaga Wilson suits the song more he's very careful in singing every line he have i think its because kanta to ng artist who he look up to and i totally understand that. Ayaw niya masira yung kanta that's why he stick to it's original version and for me that's a good thing. As an ARMY you know mas magaan siya sa tenga pakinggan and i think that's the reason why he got rank 1. I just want to say to him if ever he might read this that he deserve that rank i swear.
I agree that Wilson's tone suits this song but he hardly hit the right notes, all the difficult parts of the songs was given to Chie.

Wilson for me effortlessly hit the right notes i think you can only say that he hardly hit it because di siya ganon ka confident while performing this song and to the other hand Chie is more confident and relax than him. But for me i prefer his way of singing more than Chie no hate this is my only opinion and we have our own opinions and i do respect that.

Bet he can do well too kung yung bridge or kung matataas man mapunta sa kanya kaso yung nakuhang parts niya, like what bull's-eye said plain lang like hindi mas ma sho-showcase yung range niya. I can't easily sing my idol song because I'm afraid i don't give justice to it.We can see sa interview kagabi na di talaga siya happy sa performance niya and even mag sample ng Still With You song by Jungkook he can't do because he really felt bad about the performance. But for me talaga he did great his voice is clear and on point also the blending he does with the song sounds good. Main vocal is not only about hitting high notes (but I believe Wilson can also hit that notes) for me it's about how you can blend your voice in the group without overdoing it because your performing as a group, I just can't feel some Chie parts and he sometimes overdo it that's why Wilson is really my top 1.

When you listen to the blended voices of jm and jayR, and then, Wilson and jayR maganda pakinggan. Although hindi nag standout si jayR pero ang quality ng voice niya ay pwedeng e blend sa iba. Maganda kase quality ng boses at malawak ang range niya.

No doubt Wilson’s voice is perfect for this song. It didn’t sound awkward at all and it sounds smooth and clear despite the fact that he looks kinda nervous. Chie on the other hand nailed this performance as well. And I’m quite amazed by his voice range. But voice quality wise I would go for Wilson just like the mentors.
I agree with you on Wilson but it was a "best in vocals" based on the performance and honestly Chie did better than all of them in this, not saying the other members of the group did a bad job, it's just he really stood out to me🤷♂️

Si Chie talaga yung pinaka nagshowcase ng vocals nya dito sa performance na to. Siguro mejo prejudiced na rin yung ibang mentors na magaling talaga kumanta si wilson, pero sana nagbase sila dito sa performance na to kung sino talaga yung may pinakita, hindi yung sino lang yung may pinaka may potential kasi mej unfair sya para sakin. They really should study kung paano mag perform mga kpop idols. Yung confidence, facial expressions, astig na movements na parang nakakapogi tingnan at stage presence. I know na kulang pa sila sa skills but sana kahit konting effort lang to learn this. Jan din naman sila pupunta eh and ito hinahanap ng mga mentors.

Ginawang ballad ni Chie ung Song w/c is so off yeah he has a great voice but when ever he sings its like becoming a Chie performance not a group performance. For me JM could have been the over all winner for this group but Chie do deserve the spot since its top vocal.

The overall performance was disappointing. Very boring. Super fave ko pa naman si Jay-R and Wilson. I didn't see them as idols but mere contestants lang. It was a bad song choice. Talented naman silang lahat. I'm surprised with JM's voice. I didn't know that he had this really nice voice tone ( I don't know how to call it...). But I agree with the judges' decision, that Wilson was the best vocal .. just because of the unique tone of his voice. Although it really wasn't his best performance.

tbh, ang sakit ng grupong to sa tenga considering that I'm no singer pano pa kaya si angeline? her reaction is given. The entire performance made me laugh feelong ko tuloy same kami ni Bailey. I do rly appreciate their effort tho.
Overall, a poor group performance. Jay-R didn't redeem himself there, he just proved that top 7 badge is not for him WITH THAT PERFORMANCE. I think Chie overpowered his delivery which was not the right suit for a song like 'Left and Right' that's why Wilson, who gave a soft touch, sealed the top spot.

Chie lacks the height... I'm not sure if he's tall naman but looks small just because the other members are taller than him. I read somewhere that there are companies who choose idols with almost the same height because it looks good on stage.

Chie is one of my faves for the main vocalist position pero wrong song choice sya dito. Bagay sa kanya yung kanta nung Habang Buhay.
In this performance, honestly, parang most of the time di ko type pakinggan ang parts nya. As a fan of Charlie Puth, ilang ulit ko na napakinggan ang song na 'to. Pamparelax vibes lang. The way kinanta ni Chie ay parang need birit na birit.
Sayang... Obviously, sa kanilang lahat, sya yung nag perform flawlessly BUT, I think may certain criteria ang mentors like yung voice dapat suits the song or blends with the song na parang one of the original singers. Popular song kasi yung Left & Right ni CP ft. JK kaya for sure, kabisado na ng mentors how the song should be sounds like and more.
Maybe may certain category sa vocals criteria na mas mababa score ni Chie kaysa kay Wilson.
Si Wilson naman not sure if yung "I can feel you over here" nya is medyo off kasi di naman ako expert in singing. However, a mistake doesn't mean na talo ka na. May part lang sa criteria na mababawasan points mo pero if overall or sa ibang criteria ay mataas naman ang score, mahahatak yun overall as mataas.
P.S. Vinci stan ako and paalala lang na ang contest na ito ay di Tawag ng Tanghalan at di kailangan always birit para mapansin ang vocals.

Vocal Harmony is important, because of Chie's too much improvisation , other members had hard time to adjust which made the whole performance unexceptional

Honestly, first time hearing this song so I checked the actual one and after hearing that, I'm more convinced why Wilson won here.
Chie over delivered on a song that's meant to be pretty chill. I get that he wants to showcase his range, and I appreciate his voice but this ain't it. Wilson stayed true with the source material, and that's what made his part so comfy. JM's voice is too low, but that's his natural tone. Jay-R's voice sounds good but he can't control his volume. It's like he always had a set tone from start to finish, doesn't fit well on certain parts. Onie doesn't sound that bad as others said, tbh this kind of voice is the easiest to improve in just 6 months of training.
Overall, I liked the performance but the Chie/Wilson discourse is interesting. Maybe because Filipinos are so used to high notes = best , but in this scenario it's not the case.
