I always thought boruto would activate his jougun just to find Naruto and Hinata trou dimension hopping. Eventually, boruto will meet Shibai, but i don't think it will be an adversary more like Shibai will grant him enlightenment for boruto, but that's my opinion probably won't happen.
I think the writers of this series has been throwing red herrings.. that is why some things just don't make sense about Shinjutsu. I think we need to dive deeper into all knowing, the difference between prescience and omniscience... They are not the same
