great Vid. I was wondering how joining the pieces would look as I too have a 9' wall. Your fix was terrific, thank you! Why screws instead of a nail gun?
Hey how many times did the jigsaw crack the veneer? I saw your first cut around the outlet chipped away a piece. I bumped one of mine into a wall at it chipped it so it’s super brittle. I haven’t put mine up yet.
Yes, they helped a ton. I still did end up buying another foam panel thing for one other the walls cuz there was still a little echo. But much better than it was before
Looks really good, BUT, are these really $200 for a 2ft x 8ft piece? I have a 13ft wall in my office, to cover it with these it would be 13 x 2 x $200 or $5200?? HOLY SMOKES!!!
Using the numbers provided it would be $200 for 16sqft. Assuming your walls are 8ft high and then assuming its 13ft wide...you have 104sqft of wall space. 104/16 = 6.5 sqft. Multiply that by $200 = $1300.
Your math was definitely wrong, you should have divided by 2 (and then rounded up to a whole box), not multiplied by 2. Here's the accurate math: 1 box covers 2ft by 8ft. If you have a 13 wall, you would need 7 boxes total (actually they're slightly under 2ft width each, but 7 boxes would still cover 13.7 ft of width). It's currently $255 per box for these walnut wide slats, so that's 7 x $255 = $1785. Still kinda pricey but not nearly as much as you thought lol
a big part of the cost is walnut, which is why it looks better. To get the same look DIY you'd have to use walnut slats which would honestly not be much cheaper than this anyway
That looks amazing! Btw you're really good at explaining, thank you!
Great video definitely looks nice. I love that end product how it looks, but steep on the price .
Thanks for sharing

Your finished room is Beautiful ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Wow I love fixed it up your very creative 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
This was helpful. Turned out great.
great idea to finish it off!
Thank you! Cheers!
love it but i thing one end of each panel is darker then the other end i could be wrong but i do love it thank you
1. Did you nail the slats to the stud or just to the dry wall?
2. The bottom horizontal slat did you use hammer nail to nail them?
Awesome video!!
You are a true craftsman….amazing….
Very nice video. I just purchased a MDF panels each 6.5"×94" $15.98 at Homedepot. They fit together like yours.
Amazing job bro 💪🏾💯
Thanks 💯

You can go right to left. Just turn it around. 😅
Flat walls easy let’s see how you do external corners which I haven’t see yet

Hi! Could you screw into the drywall without looking for studs? That was the only thing I was worried about when screwing in the nails
The liquid nail will actually keep it on the wall forever. The screws pretty much keep it all in place while it dries. Great stuff
With a taller wall it’s better to use the shorter slats so you can leave a gap between the rows which makes the wall look better.
What size screws were used?
I can’t remember the exact size but I want to say they were 1 1/4 inch
Do it matter where the screws goes in the panel?
I just kind of randomly screwed them in. If you can hit a stud that is a bonus. lol
These things look so nice but good lord it's expensive.
Do they work? Soundproofing?
Yes, they helped a ton. I still did end up buying another foam panel thing for one other the walls cuz there was still a little echo. But much better than it was before
cool stapler where can I purchase one?
I got mine on Amazon
I brought a few and some of them smells wondering if it happen to yours too?
I do remember a couple of packs have a smell to them. I think it is from the stain they put on it. The smell quickly went away though for me.
where did you purchase these panels?
There is a link in the description :)

Exact same ones are 40 usd in my country North Macedonia

Many people make mistakes... that's why pencils have erasers on the top.
hahaha very true!
Its a measure twice, stop, think, measure again and then cut.
If you flip the panel upside down you don't need to go left to right ;)
Seems like you missed the point.
@@Inyria no sir, I believe you missed the point
lol you right
Get a sheet of ply. And a tracksaw. 2k is way too much for 1 wall
Why didnt you use wall anchors?
I'm sure you'll learn how to make it if you'll read woodprix instructions from cover to cover :)
super expensive prbly
But, those panel are made from cardboard, so cheap for the price… I aborted the project when I saw the product. Be very careful…
Cost you 10 times more
Yeah, more expensive for sure. But it saved so much time and I personally think it looks even better than my DIY version.
