Saw her open at the Independent with Bilinda Butchers in 2014. There were only like 30 people in the crowd but we were all mesmerized. Straight up magic. Go see this magic woman make her magic and support her to make more of her magic.

Amazing song. Reminds me of Myriam Gendron's work. Actually, some guitar lines are very similar to Gendron's "Solace". I wonder if this is a tribute or coincidence. Does not matter though, this is great songwriting.
Gendron is champagne as well.............check out Johanna Warren, Will Cookson , Nadia Reid and Gareth Dickson among others, for more genius!
So I'm attempting to translate the amazing lyrics of this song to Spanish and I'm struggling with "I stood before them all". What do you think "them all" refers to? The dreams? And what do you interpret to be the meaning of that verse? Any help would be greatly appreciated ;)

I'm so torn. The lyrics weave in an out of a suitable meter with delicate lines tumbling into ham-fisted ones. When you isolate the vocal melody, it sounds like she starts off following the upper voice of the fingerstyle line and then forgets where the melody is at. I love the song and her voice, but the second verse says it all; the first line is truncated, while the vocals on the second stanza meander a bit aimlessly as the lyrics tend away from the confessional into the histrionic.
I've listened to this song dozens of times, and I love it, but man could it use an editor to shore it all up.
