They have indeed changed the music industry with this song. It's so unique and mesmerizing, I was obsessed with it, and still am. It's mystery is so under rated.
I mean that’s a pretty bold statement considering how many great pop instrumentals exist. But I will say, Dua always has AMAZING instrumentals (it’s so evident in Future Nostalgia). Also props to the producers, beat makers and instrumentalists✨✨👏🏾👏🏾they’re amazing
This girl might have singlehandedly got me through an extremely punishing time of my life. I used to listen to this on repeat to get me through physical challenges faced in 2017. This reproduction of the original is absolutely beautiful as well, so faithful to the original.
Ian Kirkpatrick! I had the chance to virtually sit in on a session with him producing a new song (courtesy of splice) and seriously the guy is no joke!!

Could you please make an instrumental for this song called Sick beat by kero kero bonito? It uses a sample from the Mario 64 soundtrack and ughh it’s just wonderful! There are like no instrumentals for it and I would greatly appreciate it!
A drop in popular music, especially electronic dance music styles, is a point in a music track where a sudden change of rhythm or bass line occurs, which typically is preceded by a build section and break.
Dua's producers are next level. It was the pitch bend of the bass that snagged me for this song, and that kick fill before the drop. I was watching Ill factor re produce and i was mind blown haha

That beat was used during the early hip hop or latin music scene in the 1980s 😅
Goddamn I wish more pop producers would use drums like this more often.
When I first heard this track, I was taken back. So original yet modern, and the drums and bass sections my lord! And then the vocalsssssss. :)
