I’ve seen gut shots of these amps. It is literally one of the best built amps I’ve ever seen. Apart from you needing a freaking fork lift to get it to the gig, this is just awesome!
Curious, if the point of this is headroom and having zero breakup is it really like a guitar amp at all, or more of like a high end McIntosh amp. Isn't that what Jerry Garcia used? Wasn't even meant for guitar right?
Finally people are bringing back massive power amps, we need a Coliseum now. Its more headroom would be great for downtuned and baritones because the bottom end can hold together.
You are welcome to lift it up on a fullstack yourself. 😂 As for the bottom end, try other speaker units besides not adding so much low end that it drowns the bass player. 🤣
@@JoeBaermann Not more bottom end (though it can do it) but cleaner bottom end and of course allows you to play bass through it. I understand your point though, wouldn't say its much difference than a bass player running an ampeg rig. This amp isn't for 99% of players.
seymour duncan powerstage700 - designed for 350w into each of 2 4 ohm loads. a pair of 8 ohm cabs get 175w each. I put a Keeley Filaments in front of it and call it done.
Class D plus that normally you run 2x16 ohms or 2x8 omhs stereo through the venues cabs. Orange Pedal Baby 100 works fine for the same thing with 2x16 ohms cabinets, from around 3 it starts to roar and from 5 it get’s loud enough to damage some ears, Class A/B though. On the other hand, most don’t run their backline that loud when there are plenty of monitors and a serrious PA available.
I just think of the Movie "Back to the Future", when Marty McFly plugs in to his over powered amp, w/ the giant speaker, and hits the first Chord and is sent flying backwards. \m/
The "infinite" headroom has me intrigued. I seriously absolutely love that concept, but way too loud for me. I would need to use it on its lowest attenuation mode 100% of the time. If i had 4000 euros to spend i would totally give this amp a try.
H move next to neighbours your gonna hate get one of these amps and bring their stinking world to an end. Or use at vow of silence monester so they can't tell you to turn it down. 😂😂😂🏴👍👍👍🥃Respect to you mate
He should make a 1000 kg version in the shape of a barrel and ask 100000 euro for it: it weights a ton, it costs a ton and it looks like a ton (ok “ton” is Dutch, but tonne in German comes close enough)

Gravity engines preferred but not required
Every soundguy is sweating nervously right now
I remember showing up to shows with my 100 watt Carvin legacy and before I’d even start they would ask me to turn down 😂
I wouldn’t even tell them to mic me
TITAN!!!!! Feel the power of the Jupiter, your neighbors will too!!!!
I so want 3 full stacks of these to make a WDW rig 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽

i LOVE THE METAL ATTITUDE... but ends with heartfelt animals every episode!!! Thanks
Chris is a genius
Yes, good clarification. We don't do animals at the end--we support them. Exactly.
I'm impressed by the titan(maybe ohmmacht back then) since I saw john browne played it. Still baffles me how the captor managed to handle it..
Maybe inductors ?
I hope there is a review coming one day ☺

He said "animals at the end". That sums it all up.

Titan! Chris is such a lovely bloke 🤘🔥 miss y'all!
"The Captor is way too heavy" 🤣
Does he not make the Ohmmacht Sunn Model T amp anymore? I guess this is cool too, but I really wanted one of those
Oh NICE it's got external BIAS adjustment by the looks of it. I wish all tube amps did! But I'm not paying THAT price :D
It's 40 years too late!!!
I should show you my box of scrap parts from developing prototypes over the years.

Chris is the AWESOME-est!

ah yes the _getting kicked out of your apartment speedrun_ amp
Maybe it will replace my Crate 300😉
$4,000 is downright reasonable compared to the Ronin amp @ $8,000 for a much smaller amp. Only thing is, that Ronin sounds ace!
Hi Henning I miss Kiana on camera.
I don’t want to hear it, I want to feel it. 😎
10:15 moments like this honestly do make me laugh.. the stilted delivery = lmfao
700 V !?! Mmm, I'd use an optical device in the signal chain so there's no electrical connection. Fenders will arc in the 400V range occasionally.
The Who and Pink Floyd would have used this amp. Chris appears to have grown up faster. 😸

I can see this amp used by demolition companies to take down entire buildings with a single open A chord at 250W
Endllich mal ein Amp der nicht zu leise ist.Ha....
This looks ridiculous In the best way possible .
Barefaced guitar cabs have speakon.
🤣
Why would anyone need this?
For the same reason you need a Corvette.
DOOOOOOOM! 🤘😀👍
Or a Fender to make smart Keith Richard quotes
I don´t need it but i still want it 😅
To play Vegas from LA
