Jon Foreman has greatly nfluenced the way I live my life. Meet fear head on, wade through the pain to get to the other side, sacrificial love, and that I matter, but, not more than you matter. Put Jesus first.
He’s a great writer seems like a great guy sadly his compromised though to support the LGBT community……So then I would say Jesus is not being put first
@@ryangraham7012It seems more like a love the sinner hate the sin. Personally I don’t believe he supports LGB+, let’s allow God to continue working through Switchfoot and let the music reach people.
@@StarHaven64 I’m not trying to hate I love the band but yes he says it with his mouth I support them in not saying we should hate them i still love you you if your gay but i don’t support them…
Anyone interested in Franciscan monks should check out Thomas Merton. He was a Trappist monk but they follow a similar routine to the Franciscans. He was an incredible writer and can only assume Jon has gotten his hands in a few of Merton’s books.
Joel was the first person who let me on a bus, the mxpx GC, ultimate fakebook (best band) birch hill in NJ in 2001. was 13, KROCK in NYC promoted GC, little things furious 5 at nine that cabby did. Also broke blink on the east coast at least with damnit. Saw blink at stone pony (good times tour) and convention hall (opening for living end) and hunka bunka with LTJ (starland) with scott but he pushed gc hard before that birch hill gig around the record release for GC
I don’t feel that Joel listened to the whole album that was recorded here. Among that album were many artists, including Ryan Tedder from One Republic singing Dare You to Move. When you focus on one song you don’t always get a complete picture, and I always appreciate John’s transparency. Not that my opinion means anything, but imo, he’s one of the greatest songwriters on the planet. Even the stuff I don’t like is incredible.

@@StarHaven64 amen to that. Love always wins!
Jon is a master wordsmith. I love how he views and talks about the world. Hope is an anthem, for sure.
Where I Belong will be played at my funeral ⚱️❤🙌🏾🙏🏾
Always good to hear what mr foreman has to say!
I love the love for Adam Young and @owlcity!
Your love is a melody 🦋⬆️🥹💟
I'm curious to hear more about those Franciscan friars he mentioned, but he said their place burned down?

So at what point does Jon actually get to talk? To me it seemed like the host did all the answering of question.
Exactly

Kinda wanted to hear more from Jon on this one… he barely got a word in. Oh well
the interview is very short.
Is this an interview of Joel or Jon?
Lol...that would be “Franciscan” monks that are an order of “Saint Francis of Assisi; a Catholic order of monks.
I dare you to move
