Agreed. Later bosses like the Berserker in the town of Jeremi and certainly Xain serve as nasty wake-up calls if you're not leveling up and/or being mindful of the battle system like you should. . .
This is designed to make you feel anxious and agitated but at the same thrilled and adrenaline rushed! The composer is a God amongst men.. this is a proper boss theme should be! you will know you will face a hard opponent just by the song itself.. leaving you no quarter and at the mercy of lady luck!
That feeling when you know you're going to wipe in the next 2-3 turns. This game actually challenged me when I was a kid. I would be stuck on one boss for days sometimes.
The Delilas were basically your party but taller (I guess they are in their 20s at least) and cooler. At least that's what my sister said about them 20 years ago while I was watching her playing the game. She really wanted to play as Gi instead of Vahn, can't blame her :D
They are either demanding a remake that isn't necessary, demanding games where all you do is explore a large world with nothing but repetitive tasks, only wanting games with "great" graphics, or whatever else.

This boss theme wokrs for the old man when you do battle 1 and battle 2.Its a very intense fight where he hits pretty hard and in round 2 hits whole team for over 1k damage almost 1 shotting whole team
@@SquareTales yeah, the first boss Caruban was manageable... but man Berserker did get me stuck for a while! All was cool until the zombie AoE spell :(

That song (and game) reminded me how important grinding is on RPGs.
My favorite jrpg of all time! I wish they port this game to modern consoles. I'm happy I still have my copy. As well as dual saga.
