A husky older man in a common dark suit took me to his store on a small town street. I wandered a bit before he came to the door to tell me he had lost a friend. I listened with empathy and found myself outside the back door writing the line above in the dust on a wall that faced the door, creating an open cubicle... I erased a preposition and pondered change.
Back inside, I Saw 2 rooms with tables that looked spacious for 4, maybe 6 people. One room was modern and open, the other was small with an antique table. I wondered about them... a place for teaching? Was that my older lady Sundance friend in the open room?
