One of the few rappers with intelligent and meaningful lyrics that I listen to from time to time.

He is writing / producing nearly all songs all by himself.
It latest Album "Off" was more Nu Metal like, but has still lots of rap elements in it.
He is VERY diverse in the style of his songs.

"Rap and guitarrs?" haha, he and his band played a online concert (which you can watch on youtube) during corona-times for german metal festival "Wacken" (during corona wacken was a "online-concert - event) where they did their songs "metal-style" :D he is pretty open - minded when it comes to music :) no bounderies :D

Alligatoah is also a North German. However, he has probably been living in Berlin/Potsdam for a long time now. Like EnteTainment, a rapper from my home country. He wears a duck mask and makes such fierce lyrical texts that it's just art.
Even if the content seems a bit brutal to other people. But the punchlines, simply fierce.
And Scor is an international North German rapper.
He's particularly well known in China. He raps in Chinese and also speaks other languages. But Alligatoah is not as fast as other rappers, even if that does sound fast.
Kollegah was one of the fastest rappers in Germany so far. But he seems to have been replaced by a rapper called Juju and others, including SpongBozz.

It's close but it's more like keep your soul cause u can't replace it. If you decide to live for your job or do wrong things to gain success or money u will always lose something. somthing you cant replace.

fun fact: Alligatoah is actually a band made up of the rapper Kaliba 69 and producer DJ Deagle (who are the same person ! 😮) .
he really evolved musically, especially if you compare this with something from his early career like ATTNTAAT or Schlaftabletten, Rotwein (sleeping pills, red wine). i remember when i found him on youtube back in '07 or so and most of it was just crazy nonsense . Alligatoah was alwasy good for a fun time and then years later he somehow made it to the charts with a song about taking drugs.

This is embarrassingly bad. Meaningful lyrics? Where? Not even really original ones because he's paraphrasing others who did them better like 30 years ago (but who most young people nowadays don't remember, so they think "wow, that's new")... I honestly feel sorry for people who listen to cr*p like this and think it's good and worth sharing. It's not just a matter of taste in music (I listen to all kinds of genres), it's a matter of quality. I feel like some of these "artists" are not even trying, they know some musically uneducated people will find their stuff great (probably after hearing it umpteen times on the radio). There are at least two main kinds of music consumers in Germany; some are highly educated and know even the most obscure bands or artists from the last 100 are more years, and then, there are people who listen to terribly commercial things on the radio and who like it because it's popular at that time, not because they know anything about music (most wouldn't be able to sing a simple tune with 3 notes properly without going out of key). This is what I call "foutage de gueule" (I know you understand French).

It seems as if you simple donˋt understand his lyrics 🤷🏻‍♀️ Accusing Alligatoah of lacking depth is wild (and no, I am not a fan).

Literally what is there to be sorry for in people liking and appreciating something? Even if you don't think its intellectually stimulating enough or something, which I sure think it is, but even if it isn't, what harm does it do to appreciate something??? You're not better than people because you dislike things, you're just more unhappy because of it.
