I just wanted to thank my friend from Elizabethton TN for taking me to my first SCOTS show circa 1990 where we all shared pots, pans, lids, hubcaps, kisses, dishes, and fried chicken in some offbeat location somewhere in the mountains. Changed my life when they sold the Atomic Speedway. I'm eternally grateful SCOTS recorded DTD at Atomic. Holds that place in my heart forever and always!
Saw these guy's in Bozeman, MT at the Filling Station back in '96; when they played '8 Piece Box' they were throwing greasy fried chicken into the crowd, & the crowd was throwing it back at them, fuckin hilarious!

Love SCOTS !!! BEEN seeing them live since the early 90s ,,catch them every year at the Continental Club for their 2 night gig , they just keep getting better and better!!!!
How did I miss this group when they came out? I always search out the groups that Weird Al style parodies. This group is kickass, I guess better late than never.
Saw SCOTS for the first time ever today... i actually worked video for the show. It was literally on VIrginia Beach in the sand. Best live show i had seen in ages.
a great example of how the band incorporated the swampy blues of slim harpo and the rockabilly energy of dale hawkins into an edgy brew that counterbalanced their more lighthearted efforts.
Clever, spooky & the drummer does av' glasses after all. Like with the UK's Alan Carr....his mum tried too, he could do with one of those t-shirts & wear it on chatty man ( from a different SCOTS video - the drummer's T-shirt )¿?
"N" that rip snortin' geetar...'N' those rip snortin' driving drums' drumbeat... 'N' 10-4, heck yeah, good buddy on that bass lady and her bass playin' !
In my top 10 bands of all time. Energetically and musically next level. An experience to behold live.
I saw them last Friday night in Greensboro, NC. They've been friends of mine since the late '80s.
@@bobmarlowe3390 So lucky! I'll bet they're great people to be friends with too!
First saw them in '96, saw them for the sixth time last week. Got to meet Mary last year -- she's a doll.
I got a couple of hugs and kisses from her last Friday night. We've been friends since about 1988.
