Hey, I know youtube blasts y'all with retention numbers, so I imagine you saw that I and probably a lot of other people opened this video, saw the length, and immediately stopped watching.
I just wanted to throw out there that this tab stayed open on my computer for two weeks awaiting a moment where I needed to jam. This is a good video length and I appreciate it.

🌺🌺🌺 You two MUST do the Hawaiian Islands. There are several perfect long walks - (Waikiki could use some more sophisticated "tourists", some with groove! And amazing sunsets and sun-days! 🌺🌺🌺 Kaanapali beach walk at sunset; Wailea Beach walk - insanely fun and pretty. You might LOVE it! 🌺

By far the best duo I discovered so far in 2023, I originally discovered Leo last year thanks to Too Many Zoos (another great band), but 2Saxy is definitely on par with TMZ. The energy you two have is amazing and your stamina is incredible, keep it up!

First off, your coats are jamming. These walks bring complete relaxation to listen to and the transitions into each segment is outstanding. About the 20 minute area and the sassiness going back and forth made me laugh listening to your conversation to each other and I always wonder who's going to win that battle. I think Grace has the upper hand on you Leo for some reason but then you come up from downstairs and challenge her. The balcony person was in total rythym as well. Keep up the amazing work and I love how it brings such joy and happiness to my day. I save everything you do so I can continue to just listen and wait for the next surprise. You both compliment each other as one. Awesome job to you both and to your videographer and the little bit of rythym in the background as well. 🎷🎷❤️👍🏻

I saw your solo beach performance (the one where you're in waist-high water, can't remember which beach specifically), then heard you were playing with Leo P, and my IMMEDIATE thought was - "I *have* to see how these two saxes make it work." I started bari sax just recently and I have tried to learn how to play it like Leo the man does but I can't I would like to sea a video showing his gift and how to play like him. Also I was talking about you in my tutor lessons and he said I would never be as good as Leo p so...........sorry Leo your going to have some big competition. In the next 5 years.
i don’t know of any tutorials by leo but you can certainly find tutorials by others on how to play like him. i suggest focusing on playin “normally” for a while before you get into more advanced stuff like this. absolutely have fun and mess around with it but focus your practice on the fundamentals. it’ll make learning advanced stuff easier and help you develop your embouchure, tone, breathing, etc
@@ryanrichter357 He has a whole masterclass on his sax house style ;) they also have a masterclass together with Grace. His special altissimo and overtones techniques are definitely not for beginners, but starting to do bass lines in phrygian is not that hard with good basic technique!

@@ormand.943 he means that as time goes on your hearing brass instruments like saxophone less and less and a lot of music artistic now don't wont to take time to learn how to play an instrument or learn to sing so they just use technology to cover both of those with autotune and at best a sound board

You guys sound amazing once again. I'm curious how much weather effects your walks, I know cold is not good for intonation but what about fingers. I'd imagine eventually you get...not a runners high, let's call it a Saxy high.

The best way to record the audio for the two saxophones is to use two wireless mics going into a pocket size zoom H4n recorder that has multiple tracks. Put one sax on one track and the other one on the other track. Mix them on any DAW ad a little reverb and automation/compression and both saxophones will sound award winning. Although you've been doing fine with the camera mic. The way I describes will sound alot better.
