Hi Mr. William B tedrick, that was a nice video. Those were some nice crappies. I went this Saturday October 8, 2016, and i catch (10) Basses and i catch (21) breams too. It is to dry to hunt here in Northeastern, Louisiana, and we are in a burn band here too with no rain in 23 days now and counting. I will try to fish this saturday coming up for Bass and Breams too. yes by boat only (not just kayak). The whole park is still closed so there is no other access to either the Yegua or Nails for us kayakers. But both creek should be full of fish!
The state park as some draw hunts in the park and two Wildlife Management Areas (WMA) to hunt. Ducks, dove, pigs and deer and small game. see: tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/lake-somerville

Maybe someday I'll come up and see you Eddie and we can go fish. Mom and dad are OK but the slide into old age isn't for the faint of heart.
