    wat i see is that all the guitar players. all the good ones have some kind of inspiration from their family. either their parents are musicians or maybe their siblings are. my dad always tells me that its almost impossible without the help of a family member or relative who is a musician himself/herself. n m here trying to prove him wrong. sometimes i doubt myself

    Hey man im following all your instruction and using thevfree ir from ola. But my guitars dont sound wide enough. Im a fan of gojira and leo morrachioli and when I listen to their they are so heavy and wide. I double track my guitar and alson pan them. But still myy tracks sound shallow. The bass also sounds weak and dosnt pop in the mix. I am willing to share some of my tracks if you could give me some reviews and tips. please man im a student and can afford paid reviews. I would be grateful if anyone coud help me.

    Impressive stretching 1-7th fret. Why are you using "String Dampener"? Muting string like this way is cheating even when you are doing 4 finger tapping. You might argue that Guthrie Govan does it. But that guy don't actually need them.

    • @petruccifanboi
      @petruccifanboi 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Whats cheating ? Is it an exam dude? If One can get the best tone by using a hair band, so be it , big deal .... By your logic, one should even get rid of effects pedals that make you sound better

    • @aniruddhabiswas2107
      @aniruddhabiswas2107 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      petruccifanboi if ur really a Petrucci fan then u should know good guitarists never uses them. Distortion creates lots of noise if we can't mute our strings. This means when we pick any string we should mute (dampen) the other strings with our free fingers & palm. When somebody fails to do this they revert to using a "String Dampener". I used a harsh word (cheat). But man guitarists are mocked like hell if they use a string dampener. Watch this frm 1:30 th-cam.com/video/xJIRmnpTFRc/w-d-xo.html you might wonder whether this guy "Uncle Ben" is good. He is not good but great. Killer lessons.

    • @KinshukGuitar
      @KinshukGuitar 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      What's your problem man, the string dampener or Rhythm Shaw?

    • @KinshukGuitar

      Natsu Dragnio right bro. We all r used to watching the biggies like Satriani, Petrucci, Vai, Gilbert, Batio, Hammett etc. We suck @ guitar cause we don't hv good teachers.

    `With all due respect...I don't see the point of exercises like this. The goal of a musician is always to write good music, and the instrument is the typewriter. For me I think the best way you can improve your playing is by learning to play the music that you like. Warmup routines and exercises are stale and they don't really help you achieve your goal IMO. If you're learning a difficult solo, not only are you improving your technique, you're also getting to play something you like, which makes you feel amazing!
