Robots going 9 miles? The food will be cold by then. Maybe these robots will be taking the shorter routes and the Drivers will get the shop and pay orders and the longer routes. Havent you noticed they want us to shop and pay for customers and carry items in and out of the car? I dont think these robots can do this?
They are sure pushing shop and pays. I wish we could know exactly what we are shopping for and I would be more likely to take them than going in blind.
Pretty sure its strictly for less then 1.5 maybe 2 mile orders and even then fairly developed areas where robots actually have some sort of route, sidewalk to stroll down. The air drones are more a concern but likely be a even longer time before we see those take off, assuming we ever do given there are genuinely issues if not simply Uber or DD but multiple companies started flying millions of drones around, likely you would see some action against it not just from environmental types but possibly the FAA. We'll see but its worth at least imagining this could be a serious concern since like everyone says these jobs may be fun for some, good opportunities for others, but much of it probably has no good long term prospects with rare exceptions (specific or qualified drivers, vs free for all it is now), not like it is now with as many drivers as there are at least.
Most of the times the employees ignore me so lets see how that works for the robots. Who's going to open the door? Guareenteed the ones in my area will be stolen 😮
I do not see any drop in orders, I see that UE f us.... You could take a look eaxh order detail. They know how much users tip. So they set max price and share with us 10-15%. Customers in this case tip less, to save the same total amount spent for order. For example, 1 mile order $7.5. In order details it was $12.5 to uber eats + tips $5... So total is 17.5, but for the driver it was 2.5+tips... The same is with any order in UE
For me, Grubhub has the most consistently good orders. DD has tons of crap but steady mediocre and "good enough" orders for the slow times. UE is either all crap, or all good, depending on the day.
Your spot on with those $8-$10 orders for 9-10 miles. A lot of people don't factor the time spent ,expenses, etc. If working multiple platforms & have a decent order going same direction already, then it might make sense to add those $8-$10 orders. I feel that the gigs are actually counting on drivers claiming orders on multiple gigs to get those low pay orders completed.
@@louis-i5f they don't exist anymore 🤡 that's the point.. I live in Las Vegas it's complete BS now.. they have us doing food stamp deliveries with no tip
Then add in the problem of tip baiting at Uber Eats. 4th and 5th floor deliveries no elevator. Always possibility of an accident. Not worth the risk. I try and keep deliveries under 5 miles no matter what the pay is with Uber Eats because tip is not guaranteed.
@@louis-i5f exactly, a lot of drivers seem to ignore costs in the equation. Really shouldn't take any delivery only orders paying less that $2 a mile, perhaps $1.50 if multi-app for that same run. otherwise, Technically operating at a loss if taking orders paying under $1 a mile.
I noticed a significant drop in the amount per delivery on Uber Eats. I will not start my car for less than 7 dollars. Somebody once told me that times are tough (which is true) and that why for the decline. If times are that tough for someone, then why do they expect someone to deliver their food for little to nothing? Nope. Having your food delivered is a LUXURY. Pay the people.
UE definitely changed. Im in a really good market and last year I could easily make $300 a day. Now its like between $200-$250 a day and for some reason people aren't tipping extra like they use to. Thats how I really made money was on tips but now it's like almost nobody tips extra not even on holidays which me suspect that UE is stealing tips 🤔
Where I live in Canada, UE has drastically dropped their pay about four or five months ago. I don't bother with them anymore. Hard to believe I used to deliver only for them this time last year.
Uber Eats Changed The Algorithm to volume based model. So, they flood markets with drivers and then have a death match to see who will accept $2 orders ..knowing lack of orders will force drivers to be desperate ... GREAT for their profits but horrible for drivers. 2022 made $19-21 per hour and 2023 $11-12 with more mileage and higher gas - know many drivers in my area quit but replaced by recent immigrant inflow
Robots better not come to Memphis, brings to mind a new kind of theft…haha Even worse will get shot at or run over. I had an awesome UE shop and pay with 16 items which paid out $59 and took only 1 hr.🎉 I forgot to mention the UE app has gone love for apple car play radios. I will turn on UE on car play and Dasher on main screen to help from missing orders.
Here in California it’s a gold mine between 11 pm and 3 am I made $100 driving about 30 miles that’s because my market is asleep at that time. Only problem drive thru lines could be long and customers could be giving you bad rates and thumbs for No reason
I've been nailing it on spark!! 100 a day in 3 to 4 hours. Love it. Plus better incentives than DD. I love the shop and deliver too. 30 dollar minimum in my area
Its also seems like the longer youve been on, the worse it gets. They pepper new Spark drivers with all the great incentives and good orders, then its down hill from there. Thats been my experience or perception of whats going on, because there might be 20 cars getting loaded and Im not getting offers that make any sense. And the AR doesnt mean much of nothing. Most of the time if its busy they utilize all drivers but if it drops off, orders are going to newbies.
I made $30 in 9 hours in Las Vegas on UberEATS, solid 🤪 you're probably a new driver.. in a couple of weeks you'll be doing only Walmart food stamp delivery orders for $4.. if you don't do those you get no deliveries because your percentage goes down..
Well it just means it sucks in your market I made $80 off of Uber eats in 3 hrs the other day compared to $25 on doordash and iv been doing it about 8 months. I don’t touch a order under $6 and iv been doing just fine
@@milton2795 I remember when I first started I thought the same thing.. Uber is smart.. new drivers get good deliveries.. that way everyone doesn't complain at the same time.. I live in Las Vegas rate on the strip. I was making $1,000 week and now I can't make $200 a week.. talk to me next year and you'll see what I'm saying..
Walmart Spark and Instacart has a waitlist in my market. DoorDash forces me to schedule and busy areas are typically always taken so Om mainly left with Uber Eats and boy oh boy they will try to add on and take you out of your area in a NY second
UE has definitely gotten worse. I noticed the change immediately starting at the beginning of April. They definitely changed their algorithm. Doordash was already bad in my market but Uber was helping out a lot with better orders dollar to mile wise. Now its like there's no difference in which one I deliver for because the trips mileage wise and dollar wise are so similar so I just end up going to whichever app is busier for that day.
I won’t take no more trips with no tip. Bc these people in some areas like to get free food. When people tip they got money. To people that don’t tip and than complain, they are not going to get they’re 💩 from me. I am not doing this out of the kindness of my heart
I feel like uber eats is hiding my tips in bigger orders. For the past couple months, almost every order has ended with a bigger payout then stated and i doubt every single one of them is adding tips after delivery. Idk, could just be me
Soo your saying ubereats is paying more once you complete the order? Because my area in Detroit has gone to hell the amount they show now is just like he was showing on the video $3.35 for 10 miles!! 🙅🏽♀️🙅🏽♀️
If your AR is low on UE that’s probably why you are getting the orders that are trash. I’m at a 64 percent and very rarely get those low offers. I’m attempting to get my AR rate on DD up to 50 percent meanwhile I have been seeing REAL bad orders on there.
i straight up cherry pick on uber and i get lots of really good orders. i do plenty that would be considered lop on doordash and lots of shop and pays that pay really high for low miles and small item counts. it might just be my market but, i have some good luck with uber. trader has the right idea though of multi-apping and making your own stacks.
For me its just impossible to stack money doing food delivery. With car expenses. Oil changes , Tires, Gas, wear and tear on my body running up and down stairs all day. Tip baiters, annoying customers that lie. Just so many variables that make it nearly immpossible to stack money in my market. Delivery company are not out to make drivers rich. Impossible to become rich doing food delivery. You just barely get by.
When you're unemployeed its easy to drop at 12 noon, instead of 12 midnight like someone that works and is busy all day. Thx god for TH-cam income, haha
At some point, we have to boycott these robots/AI. Walmart plans to eliminate 65% of their workforce by 2026. If AI takes all of our jobs, the gig apps won't have consumers.
Cash loophole to delivery drivers. If you wait for 7 mins at location and flash call the customer as the call will not register on their phone but will with Uber Eats. Ignore all calls and messages you will be able to mark delivery complete and get paid. Never worry about not being able to make a delivery just wait and hide and get paid works with PIN verification
You do have to sit around sometimes for long time to get a good request. So many garbage requests. I just don't take anything under 7 dollars at max 3 miles.very rarely take anything over 5 miles. What ends up happening it will take you out your zone area. Certain areas is tip baiter areas. I try and stay clear of those areas. They can bring me down . Support is useless when it comes to tip baiters. The last thing Uber wants is to reimburse . They will give you run around when you call support to discourage you from trying to get refund.
Uber eats does not pay more than Doordash does. I don't care what it says online. I could make upwards of 3k in a month with Doordash. I'd be lucky to clear 1500 with Uber, because I have to reject so many deliveries due to pay vs mileage, time.
You would make more money working at McDonald’s for minimum wage where I live. They listed on indeed to get a bunch of new drivers, when the drivers they already had were barely making anything. They just want new people who don’t know how it goes to sign up, and it just makes it worse for every driver and customer, new and old. Now they have a commercial telling people you can just turn off the rides and do deliveries. So now we have a million uber eats drivers but no driver is making good money where I live.
I am trying to learn if Uber Eats is worth my trying to do in 2023. Q. As a customer, I have always tipped. I try to tip 15-17%. I have tipped as low as 10% or as high as 30% (I was desperate to get Paxlovid within the 5-day window for covid, and it was hard to find a pharmacy where I could get delivery. An Uber Eats driver did the pharmacy pickup for me, and I was so thankful I gave him like a $20 tip, even though my purchases were like, $10 (fever reducer and gummy candy. First time in 25 years I bought gummy candy. I had no appetite for days, but a gummy worm here and there helped morale somehow. Haha.) Thanks to that driver, I could start the Paxlovid during the 4th day. At any rate. I need work. I don’t have some great income to be tipping all over the place. BUT! To everyone out there: When we order delivery groceries or heavy items, please consider the rising cost to drive and how someone else is hauling your bottled water etc. We should be tipping every time, and even if you can’t do the recommended amounts, if you spend $20 for your order, please at least tip the driver $4. If you are a No Tipper, start tipping at least $3 minimum, or at least $4 for a $20 order. I’m not a driver, but I think not tipping anything in these situations is like walking fown the street in your underwear. It is not decent.
Ok,,anyone notice the major app change about 6 weeks ago for ubereats driver?? The change in the graphics,,the keys you press to view the order changed ,the way you have to confirm pickup by hitting two separate tabs etc..?? Ever since the DAY the app changed, I'm driving 50 percent more miles and making 30% less money! Think I'm joking? I took snapshots of 50 straight offers from last saturday evening and my average offer is over 2-3 miles more than dollars per mile(example 3 dollars 6 miles)....And the percentage of orders for 5 dollars or less is the MAJORITY of my offers..I'd say 35 to 40 percent of my total of trip offers are in the 3 dollar range or less, all with double the miles per dollar..This all changed iin ONE day when the app changed...And it's not like I was hitting a bunch of home runs with the previous style of app either....I'm taking so many poor orders just to survive....Another thing since the major change in the app,,,,,mind you I've taken thousands of orders over the last two years plus ...I am now sitting in my car completely idle during for a half and hour or more during FRIDAY AND SATURDAY DINNER RUSH!!! This NEVER happened until 6 weeks ago....When I arrive for my pickup at restaurants and see drivers i ask them how they are doing and am showing them my screenshots of all of my offers and even they are saying their offers are nothing nearly as poor as mine...I've contacted diamond support 20 plus times and they are telling me my account is fine...Another thing,,,even during dinner rush,,the strong majority of my offers are fast food, mostly mcdonalds,,mostly poor offers..It's like I'm not going to the regular restaurants that I used to deliver from...It looks as if I'm being steered all of the lowest paying orders...And if they're not low paying,,they are 15 dollars for 15 miles or more etc,,which I've had to take because every other offer is terrible...Comparing notes with other drivers,it almost looks like I'm being descriminated against somehow....Everything changed completely overnight....Another thing,,,,I'm now constantly sent BAD orders,,meaning I'm driving to restaurants for orders that have already been picked up by other drivers at the rate of FIVE per day...Its as if they are purposely steering me all of the worst orders and the problem orders before anyone else as if I've been put on some low priority from hell...I am getting about 3 reasonable to good offers for every 50...I am a diamond member with no issues....Getting these 7 dollar orders that are 4 miles total,,those are rare now..I'm delivering in the same area...All from the day the app had the huge change....Anyone else?? I'm not exaggerating one bit. I have the proof....And then finally I may get some decent offers after midnight, but every one of them is a mcdonalds, jack in the box or taco bell order that has 13 cars in the drive thru line in front of me...Like I said,,I'm showing my offers to other drivers and they are saying this isn't happening to them....What ubereats driver in a busy major city is sitting idle in their car with zero offers in friday and saturday dinner rush..And of course when the offers start coming,,I'll get 9 brutal offers before one driveable one...Someone please help me..lol,,,not funny though...I need money.
@@CRAPO2011 Not about their good orders as much as it's about the ridiculous percentage of my orders being bad and the idle time in busy areas during rush, including friday and saturday nights.
It’s hit or miss. Some days Uber Eats kills it and other days it’s all about Doordash. Overall, I see better $ to mile ratio with Uber Eats. Usually $3 or $4 per mile.
Uber doesn't even give 3 or $4 orders in Las Vegas anymore 😂 the scummiest company in history.. I'm starting to spit in the orders since these scumbags don't want to pay me until I get my next job..
It was sunshine, unicorns and rainbows since 2020 and each year has gotten progressively worse. I used to do $19-20 an hour in 2020 into mid 2023. Now you’re lucky to get $10-11 an hour in 2024. Thanks Uber and current administration. You fucked us royally!

I got five abs that I keep on when I'm out but uber eats is one of the best ones that I have DoorDash the second as far as payouts go but I'm also platinum driver on Uber eats. I noticed when I was on the lower tier like gold and below that I was getting $10 orders or below that. But now that I'm on the platinum level, I'm not seeing many of the channel below. It's it's above 10, 10 or above and for lower miles. So I mean that's just my what I'm saying you know. And on door dash I was 30% acceptance rate and they sent me a thing because my my reading was a five star so they sent me a thing that reads my acceptance rate to 100% and I was getting some really nice orders after they did that. And now I'm down to about 73 % acceptance rate and that was after doing about 5 days of work after they raised it to 100%. I'm down about 75 73% and I'm seeing more of the garbage orders now so it is what it is
Q. What do you have to do to make platinum, and are you saying it is now much easier to lower you from platinum? This seems a bit demoralizing. You work hard to achieve a level. Yes, there should be accountability. But traditionally, employers and employees met face to face to evaluate things. You don’t just demote a valued worker because 1 week they had covid or sonetging really unusual happened from a miscommunication. The more our societies are being shoved into being evaluated by programs and not human beings, there IS a profound difference, not for the better. There are a multitude of intangibles which beautifully autonomous, imperfect, free-spirited humans create through navigating life with others. Sorry about this. It just seems disheartening that our value and achievement at work is pretty much not secure as it is not based on healthy, human evaluations, but instead, it is all about numbers, and we are treated like cogs in a wheel. Am I making sense? Or am I totally out in left field.
Detroit average 3.00 8miles. It's so bad lately, I call Detroit getting stuck in the hole.. 😅I like to know how these robots are going to stop theft.. lol DETROIT going to steal the whole robot.. BET ROBOT 🤖

Relax those robots are only for urban areas my dog wood F 1 of those things up if he saw it
Most of the times the employees ignore me so lets see how that works for the robots.
Dara giving a whole .25 more than tony
For me, Grubhub has the most consistently good orders. DD has tons of crap but steady mediocre and "good enough" orders for the slow times. UE is either all crap, or all good, depending on the day.
Why does his shirt keep switching 😂😂😂.... that crap is so confusing lol
Yall.have to be aware UE has a lot of hidden tips. Like way more than DD.
I get great orders on Uber in my area. I also get terrible orders, but there is no penalty for declining them, ha ha!
Great video. Thanks for the examples
I don't take those type of orders. $8-$10 orders 3 or 4 miles I m down with that but no more miles than that.
Uber promotion for grocery delivery is b.s. you have to get groceries delivery first. It’s not like we control what we see.
Wouldn't put it pass them. They have been accused of stealing tips before.
In the South Florida area Boca Raton Uber Eats the tips have been down this year ! My acceptance rate is very low 7% …..
Where I live in Canada, UE has drastically dropped their pay about four or five months ago. I don't bother with them anymore. Hard to believe I used to deliver only for them this time last year.
For my market it's really just a luck of the draw I'll have days where doordash is my main earner other uber eats becomes my main.
Amazon has changed my multi-app game. U can make a lot quickly during times when restaurant delivery is slow. Whole Foods blocks are the best.
Unless absolutely needed. A 25 mile round trip for such low pay is a slap in the face.
Uber eats (driver) las vegas is paying $2.00 for 6 miles in most cases... i find my way around that though.. 😂
Yes man. I think people will steal the robots and bring them home, to ride them around the house like a pony.
Every app has their good days and bad days just work whatever app you think it’s making more money that day
Awesome info!!
Glad it was helpful!
I live in the country. Don’t think we have to worry about robots 😂
Nah
UE has definitely gotten worse in Virginia Beach, the last month or so. DD is kicking their ass!
UberEATS has got terrible
Here in California it’s a gold mine between 11 pm and 3 am I made $100 driving about 30 miles that’s because my market is asleep at that time. Only problem drive thru lines could be long and customers could be giving you bad rates and thumbs for No reason
I tried driving for Uber eats in my market in Chicago. Orders were hot garbage.
Lol some merchants are now asking for signatures, I've been signing pen..is.. no one has noticed. 😅
I've been nailing it on spark!! 100 a day in 3 to 4 hours. Love it. Plus better incentives than DD. I love the shop and deliver too. 30 dollar minimum in my area
Many love spark at the begining then bthey bwill oversaturate and have drivers waiting 45 minutes to load up for 20.00
Its also seems like the longer youve been on, the worse it gets. They pepper new Spark drivers with all the great incentives and good orders, then its down hill from there. Thats been my experience or perception of whats going on, because there might be 20 cars getting loaded and Im not getting offers that make any sense.
And the AR doesnt mean much of nothing. Most of the time if its busy they utilize all drivers but if it drops off, orders are going to newbies.
between Uber eats and doordash it’s probably a 2-1 close to 3-1 ratio in favor of Uber eats when it comes to solid orders in my area
Uber Eats in Chicago has gone down hill - Uber has said it wants to increase profits and PAY is way down vs 2022.
In my market theres never promotions on uber eats
Yep they think we have no brain
every app BUT ubereats is capped in my city.. too many delivery drivers I guess? ive been on the waitlist for like 2months
Me too!
What kinds of offers are you seeing on UberEats?
Love trader. I subscribe already
I have a whole week for 1.1x -1.9x and all I’ve been getting is $2-$5 for 10-20 miles like how is that okay?
I just started using UberEATS and it's connected to the Para app. 90% are declined because they are like $3 for 6 miles... nope.
Uber takes more than half from customer payment, sometimes takes 2/3, left 1/3 to driver .😮
I won’t take no more trips with no tip. Bc these people in some areas like to get free food. When people tip they got money. To people that don’t tip and than complain, they are not going to get they’re 💩 from me. I am not doing this out of the kindness of my heart
I noticed this yesterday, I didn't do any Ubereats bc they all sucked. I got some good GrubHub offers tho.
My AR on Uber is 49%. I do better on Uber than DD on a lotta weeks. My DD AR is 54% & I get good diamond orders after 7PM right now.
@@tiffanymitchell9604 yeah, most of the bigger orders on ue i get show a payout of ~$12 and typically comes out to be ~$16-$20 payout.
The point of the robots is to get rid of human drivers and eliminate labor costs.
If your AR is low on UE that’s probably why you are getting the orders that are trash. I’m at a 64 percent and very rarely get those low offers. I’m attempting to get my AR rate on DD up to 50 percent meanwhile I have been seeing REAL bad orders on there.
I see a lot less noise about UE on TH-cam, what ARs do they actually mention themselves caring about? Everyone knows DDs game but no clue with UE
i straight up cherry pick on uber and i get lots of really good orders. i do plenty that would be considered lop on doordash and lots of shop and pays that pay really high for low miles and small item counts. it might just be my market but, i have some good luck with uber. trader has the right idea though of multi-apping and making your own stacks.
Mid day Pedro video drop?!? 🔥
When you're unemployeed its easy to drop at 12 noon, instead of 12 midnight like someone that works and is busy all day.
Thx god for TH-cam income, haha
We headed to St.Louis on the 10th.
What's the plan when you have a robot broked down between a restaurant and customer with order still on board?
UE in my market is 25-35 dollars an hour. No change.
Problem is you know they are going work the robots to death and they will eventually break down like anything else.
Uber eats in my market is hit or miss but definitely better than doordash in my opinion
I’ve been noticing UE has been getting a little better lately, but DD is consistently way better for me
It's probably due to the time of day with less drivers or an order getting declined so many times.
I have two weeks that I do not even earn $150 per week because the orders are $3 for 8 miles. no tip
Are they going have robot wreckers too for when the robots breaks down while on an order?
Trader - Thanks
Uber eats does not pay more than Doordash does. I don't care what it says online. I could make upwards of 3k in a month with Doordash. I'd be lucky to clear 1500 with Uber, because I have to reject so many deliveries due to pay vs mileage, time.
FDA
I've seen UberEATS base pay super low the past couple months
I call them charity orders cause it cost me to deliver
I got sent an offer for 54 cents from Uber a few weeks ago😂 screenshot to prove it too
Can someone please telle.why I can dash now all of a sudden? My car is 62%
You would make more money working at McDonald’s for minimum wage where I live.
Haha.)
Thanks to that driver, I could start the Paxlovid during the 4th day.
The other drivers might be lying about having good orders
@@CRAPO2011 Not about their good orders as much as it's about the ridiculous percentage of my orders being bad and the idle time in busy areas during rush, including friday and saturday nights.

Worse for sure but I multiapp. Right now DD is the best but only slightly
I put more gas in my car then what I get from Uber eats lol
Apartments suck. I want to charge $1 per speed bump!!!
Uber eats used to be good for me until about 2 months ago… ot has gone south since then
whats the affect of missing schedual on doordash? I’m new on it and I don’t know?
Tony XUprano will send you an email
It was sunshine, unicorns and rainbows since 2020 and each year has gotten progressively worse. I used to do $19-20 an hour in 2020 into mid 2023. Now you’re lucky to get $10-11 an hour in 2024. Thanks Uber and current administration. You fucked us royally!
ubereats is better by far and its not even close, im in Texas
There are going to be stolen or broken robots in the hood is what you really mean how many losses will they take before they give up on automated delivery and ain't no drones going to be delivering 100 pounds of groceries to people's house I think they'd have more luck having drones dropping rocks and grass on people's houses
I'm down about 75 73% and I'm seeing more of the garbage orders now so it is what it is
Im having a hard time getting back to platinum.
@@foreverealm there are way too many delivery drivers to be able to evaluate personally.
