I started playing this game in like march bro, and im just now absolutely sparking from the top of the key, i use to always stand in the corners, now if i bring it up the court from kick off and no one steps up im draining it no questions asked, one thing thats REALLY helping me, is shooting every single shot in something like the 2k tutorial gym or gatorade facility while listening to music, get comfortable just shooting
Great video as always! I started this game kind off struggling on All-Star difficulty, and I honestly think your tutorials made me improve to the point where I can now be an MVP on HOF difficulty. I finally have some idea of how to break a defender down instead of just spamming stepbacks (which I still resort to every other possession tbf, but I'm getting better)!
Yo Cruz, I think I found a better aggressive breakdown combo that goes well into the Steph Curry. Zach Lavine is exactly like Jamal Murray regular breakdown except with one extra cross to confuse the opponent if they try to overhelp one side. You can go one extra cross and get to the open side. Try it out. It’s also a super fast burst after that last cross
I edited out the flow chart stuff, people didn't really appreciate the mentality of trying to develop the combo system, might just be a separate video!

The main thing you never talk about which is really important regarding speed boosts and crossovers is the dribble style. Darius Garland and Da'ran Fox is the best (Da'ran Fox's dribble style is not available for MC characters). It makes a HUGE difference in regards to speed.

Im glad you use the Jamal Murray move. I found it on my own. I use the Lavine Agressive combo. It kind does the same thing since i rim run. Once i get oast the person i snatch back for open 3s.
Every move should be able to be countered if defended correctly. And this game still allows over dribbling which I think is dumb. Aside from all that I’m having a blast and I enjoy defending the elite guards
I know you made a video on rhythm shooting before but can you make a video post-patch. I cannot get it to trigger sometimes or get slightly early or slightly late tempo on catch & shoots. Hop jumpers are fine as they seem to have a different timing. Or a jumpshot video for rhythm shooters and what visual cue to look at when flicking up for tempo. Post-patch rhythm shooting feels inconsistent.
By any chance can we get a full gameplay with commentary while you apply the combo system. Would be very helpful to see it in real time and the thought process behind it real-time. Please! 🙏
Sad reality is, as much as your videos are top content and could watch them all day, as soon as you try this in random REC you will get iced out real quick or the fuckboys will call a timeout if you do not green your very first attempt. Sorry, but the IQ in this community is in the fucking toilet, majority of decent players doing the likes of hop shots are not trying to look like “kobe”, we are doing that shit to create space, which believe it or not will sometimes be the highest make percentage shot. Same goes for shooting bigs trying to work their post hop shots/post fades, as soon as you post up TIMEOUT!. Shits rediculous. It is either give it to the PG and watch the idiot launch bricks nearly every possession, try and give to you with 2 seconds left on the shot clock and expect you to green highly contested shots or he will panic and start giving it to the bigman expecting to be bailed out with close shots.
The community definitely has some of that ngl. Im taking a break from Rec and Park and doing nba game modes and its so refreshing because I get to play on my own terms and not some other weirdos terms
@ Do not blame you one bit my man, I’ve turned to starting 5, as you probably already know there is still sweats in this game mode, but at least I haven’t got the worry of someone calling a timeout while I try to do my thing in the post or creating space trying to improve my craft.
