I kinda notice that NaDaMi bit the apple and they were the ones who were seen leaving the portal to the outside world. It might mean they got "kicked out" of the garden after eating the apple. Plus the spider web with diamonds, you can see there are actual toxic spiders in it. And chaeng is still touching it. Tzuyu is hanging out with beautiful but dangerous animals. Momo is in a deep but colorful well. I think it is more of greed for beautiful things, but this greed brings out danger. This depics a beautiful but toxic relationship brought about by greed.

As they are using the Adam and Eve references, I feel like this song is literally their “losing innocence” or transitional song to having more mature songs now that they are all older. I love it. Lol

YOU GOT ME SAYING MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE AND MORE!! this track has really grown on me, its so hypnotizing! i need to listen to the album again but i love the way twices music style has evolved!!
Definitely one of my favourite MVs - the dance break and rap section are some of their very best and definitely their most mature, and they have almost completely shaken off their cute image. Only the most talented groups can change their image (Red Velvet and Exo do this really well). Also love the line distribution - keep going TWICE!
A few thematic points: Eve did become the temptress after she tasted the fruits of the snake (ahem) so its not them being the snake its a direct Eve comparison. Sets them up as being idealised, the first women, but they are sleepy, bored, staring into space before they bite the apple. New theme comes in: water. Traditionally feminine but with a wild power. The home of temptresses like mermaids or the famously beautiful voices of the sirens. The song proper starts with them emerging from water, then they are either floating on stages in pools, or dipping their toes in water in a lot of scenes. Also tied in with the religious theme is the notion of baptism and rebirth through water. The horse strikes me a a perfect white innocent stallion. Almost an idealised maleness without having some pretty boy in the video. But they want more. New theme: the 70s. Emerging from the summer of love and a relaxation of societal restraints on women, the kalidescopic psychadelia and fashion tells of a rush of new experiences, ideas, and bra burning female empowerment. But it also comes with danger, a beautiful web of pretty danger. And sex. New theme: white. They start out in white or pale outfits. Innocent. But long, flowing, chaste. They finish in pure white outfits, but strong and sexy. The white is now a disguise to lure us in. Innocent in appearance until they unleash that dance break and you know they know they are hot. And then the director literally shows them in another light, when the red comes in and we see that they can be whatever is projected on them. New theme: isolation At the start Twice are isolated in a paradise garden, innocent but bored and wanting more. By the end, innocence lost, after the rush of new experience and colour, they are still isolated, just now its isolation performing on a stage. Surrounded by the very water that gave them rebirt, but with no way across. And though at first they still had the colour of those 70s outfits, by the end they are in those faux innocent sexy outfits surrounded by lights projecting onto them. And still they want more more more more more and more. I think its a story of fame. I think it is dark, it is sad.
Mina - Eve Dahyun - Lilith (Adam's first wife in Jewish tradition) Nayeon - Eve's Curiosity Chaeyoung - Human Curiosity (Cat in background implies that) Jeongyeon - The snake (sitting beside the tree thats black) Jihyo - GOD Momo - The Forbidden Fruit Tzuyu - Eve's Subconscious Sana - Human Temptation this is what a video I saw explained about the song and M/V I'll edit this comment so I can find the link.
I absolutly love it! For me it tops Fancy, Feel Special however has such a special meaning so I struggle with putting anything above that. I also love the way they are letting their music grow more mature as they grow older, but while still maintaining some of the classic Twice-isms
your theory about the music video and the music makes sense. It kinda connects the narrative of the lyrics, visuals of the mv, overall theme of this era (based from the teaser pictures, films, videos etc)
Their sexiness was awoken hence the change of wardrobe from pure white in the beginning to multicolored clothes. It’s a coming of age and awaking thing.
I really hope you do a listening party for the whole mini album eventually, their sound just continues to evolve and I love how varied they got with the b-sides
Here’s my take on the concept: based on the lyrics, it’s from a perspective of a lady who is very seductive, charming and cunning who likes the attention from her man and she knows her weapon is her attractiveness. The snake represents the woman as many people call women with these characteristics snake. Guys can’t help themselves to be attracted into this toxic relationship and can’t escape from her hands even if they want to like as if she’s is a drug (the Apple represents this) they are addicted to. The multiple images of a same person and the colours is the hallucinations/ Psychedelic effect you get when you take the drug. Once you have a bite of the Apple, you can’t go back. Being with the woman makes you feel as if you went to a different world that’s more exciting and marvellous, and hence unable to peel yourself away from her. The members acted as the woman with seductive facial expressions (I think Sana did the best in this part especially at the chorus). The mv portrays a branding of the woman in the lyrics. Honestly hoping for a sequel to this mv with the red theme that delves deeper into this woman’s story and see how the members portray it.
The fact that Tzuyu bends her legs during almost the whole dance to match her height with the members is amazing!i love her so much cause it feels like she doesn’t want to stand out but she always will 🥺🥺
I love how they grew and changed over the years. If you compare this with heart shaker or knock knock its crazy. I love the tropical and hippie vibes. Definitely didn't expect anything like this but I'm overwhelmed! They really saved summer 2020 with this
I am thriving with this more complex title track. All the lyrics in the album are mature, adult women expression without pushing too much, being natural.
This song gave me such chill hip swaying vibes but also upbeat summer vibes. DEFINITELY my favourite summer feeling song from twice, loved it on my first listen.
To me if you hear the lyrics and watch the video hand in hand is about them presenting themselves as beautiful and innocent but being absolutely not innocent at all. The entire song is about being a "temptress" (I don't mean that in a bad way) meaning there is no escape for whoever is listening/watching. That's why despite them looking like woodland creatures they willingly bite from the apple and why there is an ominous sound to the bridge where the colors go full red. It also explains the trippy editing on the entire video, lol basically they are hypnotizing you through the entire thing.
THE FOLLOWING IS MY INTERPRETATION OF THE MUSIC VIDEO, ENJOY IF YOU CAN. I watched the YT live presentation they made for the comeback and they explained the theme of the lyrics being about that feeling of wanting more and more about the loved one without restrictions. Then they talked about the MV and its theme and for what I've understood/made about what they said the Eden is the moment the person realises about the existence or the romantic interest toward the other person, the moment the flirt starts maybe. Going further I would interpret the psychedelic scenery as the massive confusion and uncertainty that being in a flirt brings to the mind and the heart (of most people at least), you know: do I like her/him, does she/he likes me too, why am I even thinking of him/her, this is insane, ecc. This music video is quiet literally wild in its scenary, and as noticed there are moments when it crosses to red/dark with heavier beats and switches back to a more joyful, if you will, sound/scenario... It's not like falling in love is always so pristine and rainbows heavy, there might be an obsession toward the loved one, there might be jelousy and other things involved, maybe even at the same time so I would put the duality of this MV under the "love is messy" category if that even exists. So, back to the story Mina bites the apple and I'd take that as the moment of realization (the apple was the fruit of knowledge in the Bible) of being in love with the other person, the moment when "you know", so then there's a run toward action to ensure that you get the loved one: seductive but also kind of suffocating, very in-your-face dance break but also Dahyun's rap lines about selfishness (again, duality about being in love, rainbows and psycho to an extreme). Then comes the transition toward that really natural and bright lake on that platform made out of mirrors (nothing to hide, all out on this love/relationship) with that arch full of colors ("love is love" stamp, #LGBTQ+, obviously that's my take on it but it comes from the same group that sang "I was born this way" during concerts) and as the lyrics go for a message of "let's go all out, let's do this for real, let's love each other" (that's why they are dressed like hippies maybe?? who knows) they've put behind them the jungle of uncertainty and "dark places" to live their love/relationship with trust, openly embracing it and living it to the fullest, without reserves (brightness of the final shots). The outro with the fallen apple is the uncertainty toward the future of this relationship IMHO, so it's like "to be continued?", obviously it could end with the "happy ever after" cliché but how much is that realistic or maybe even desirable in reality? This is my most personal opinion but I tried to be consistent with the MV, the lyrics and the informations I got about the song overall, honestly I don't think there's much to read into it, it comes pretty straightforward to me.
I really loved this comeback. I’ve had the words more and more stuck in my head since I first watched the video. And the mini album is such a fun time. I think you’ll really like Oxygen and Sweet Summer Day.
I've been waiting for your reaction to this😂 I think JYPE is doing a great job in strategizing and fitting the evolution of their sound to the age of the members as they grow from the cute concept to a more mature vibe. As fans or just someone who has been listening to TWICE since their cute concept era, it's really amazing to see them improve and evolve throughout the years. There's also this thing with TWICE that no matter what genre or type of sound they'll experiment with, there's just this unique sound that can make you say "It sounds so different from their previous songs but this is definitely a TWICE song". Seeing where they are now, I can't fathom how much better they can get from this🔥 Hoping to see your Listening Party to the album! I think this album will take Feel Special's place as your favorite TWICE album 😂
a listening party of this album would be awesome! i'd love to see your reaction and hear your opinions on it. It's currently my favorite album from them, didn't think it could surpass Feel Special but for me it did
I freakin love this song because it’s like they finally made a Twice bside track a title track. A very long time coming. And I love Nayeon in short hair. She looks so ready for summer.
I JUST finished listening to their album and now PD uploads :D I hope you do a listening party as well, the songs are goood!! Honestly i thought that Fancy would be Twices peak but they keep getting better and more interesting and I am so here for it
This song feels like a 'how Twice would take the Zara Larrson Lush Life Concept'. Lush life was such an iconic summer song and I love how this song is so fitting for summer
I agree with how you're saying it's disguised as some sugary bubbly pop but there's actually something else. Seriously. The way she sings "you are gonna be mine again" in that tone 11:40 I'm still not over it
I found a lot of comments here and even in the MV saying this is not what they've expected or maybe their disappointed. But I really really love how TWICE is moving out from their comfort zone (which is cute concept). I think they already established their audience so it's time for them to show their mature side, their growth. They are now trying new things and proving that they can fit in any concepts. I am beyond proud of them. I guess we really have to say good bye to cuteyy TWICE and let's all embrace the new side of them.
For me the editing of the music video is what really stood out the most. The clean and surprising transitions gave me goosebumps the first time i watched it. I hope you listen to the rest of the album because OH MY GOD-JIHYO it's the best.
PD: So this is weird, looking at the lyrics and looking at the video... (They're completely different.) Me: *Flashbacks to the Loonaverse.* *(And yes, Love4Eva's MV is creepy af.)*
I absolutely love how this song's impact is IRONIC- like dude *I swear all of us did not like it at first but the third time we all love it and we want it MORE AND MORE WAHA*
This just comes to my mind rn, what if someone who smoke weeds watches more and more mv? Their minds would be blown away bcoz of the editing and the effect of the weeds 😂
it feels and looks like they're evolving from the girls they were when i started to listen to them in 2016...love their talent and they deserve so much love 💜
The dance break feels like a "Love Cherry Motion" moment going on. I love it. This chorus felt underwhelming on the first listen but the second time in I was hooked.
Personally i loved this comeback so much! This shows us again that Twice is very versatile and open to try new concepts. It's a perfect summer song for me especially since the album is full of bops, no skipping.
9:29 first time i saw this i thought like "this is absolutely Larsson's vibe going on here" since Zara Larsson is involved in the making of the music. but idk though maybe it's just me :/
This is a psychedelic, hippie concept and speaks of the freedom to love, that's why there are many colors and that's why the song in the choir says more, more, more, more, more and more .... Twice dictating the pattern of versatility and giving us another iconic choreography
Not my favorite of their albums but still it was great, I'm glad they're still going hard. The chorus is a little bit disappointing to me, guess I'll have to hear it again.
Honestly had to bite my tongue first listen, but listening to it not over and over, but a few times after especially through the rest of the album, it definitely grew on me. Much bigger fan of this albums Bsides tho

YOU GOT ME SAYING MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE AND MORE!! this track has really grown on me, its so hypnotizing! i need to listen to the album again but i love the way twices music style has evolved!!
12:57 the sequence of transitions here is so mind blowing. Kudos to the editor 😇💖
Definitely one of my favourite MVs - the dance break and rap section are some of their very best and definitely their most mature, and they have almost completely shaken off their cute image. Only the most talented groups can change their image (Red Velvet and Exo do this really well).
Also love the line distribution - keep going TWICE!
First listen i wasn't a fan but the second listen had me hooked and its been on repeat since
Me too! The More and More i listen it, the More and More i like it!
+1
A few thematic points:
Eve did become the temptress after she tasted the fruits of the snake (ahem) so its not them being the snake its a direct Eve comparison.
New theme: isolation
At the start Twice are isolated in a paradise garden, innocent but bored and wanting more.
I think it is dark, it is sad.
its about adam eve disobey God
Mina - Eve
Dahyun - Lilith (Adam's first wife in Jewish tradition)
Nayeon - Eve's Curiosity
Chaeyoung - Human Curiosity (Cat in background implies that)
Jeongyeon - The snake (sitting beside the tree thats black)
Jihyo - GOD
Momo - The Forbidden Fruit
Tzuyu - Eve's Subconscious
Sana - Human Temptation
this is what a video I saw explained about the song and M/V
I'll edit this comment so I can find the link.
Dahyun's rap was the cherry on top. This song is one of there besttttttt
STREAM MORE & MORE 💖💖💖💖
Their sexiness was awoken hence the change of wardrobe from pure white in the beginning to multicolored clothes. It’s a coming of age and awaking thing.
IM GLAD YOU NOTICED
I really hope you do a listening party for the whole mini album eventually, their sound just continues to evolve and I love how varied they got with the b-sides
The album is darn amazing
08:39 I was feeling the same, the song starts, it catches you and never lets you go. amazing stuff from Twice
Yes that's how i feel when sana's part
The fact that Tzuyu bends her legs during almost the whole dance to match her height with the members is amazing!i love her so much cause it feels like she doesn’t want to stand out but she always will 🥺🥺
I love how they grew and changed over the years. If you compare this with heart shaker or knock knock its crazy. I love the tropical and hippie vibes. Definitely didn't expect anything like this but I'm overwhelmed! They really saved summer 2020 with this
I am thriving with this more complex title track. All the lyrics in the album are mature, adult women expression without pushing too much, being natural.
PD!!! We missed youu ♥️♥️
I can’t wait for your listening party vid/reaction for this album 🔥
I'm glad you took the time so you can enjoy this.
i find choreo hard to judge without seeing the choreo practice vide. more and more among my favorite twicee comebacks EVER. loving the direction
The more & more choreo is probably my favorite twice choreo. It's so good
I really loved this comeback. I’ve had the words more and more stuck in my head since I first watched the video. And the mini album is such a fun time. I think you’ll really like Oxygen and Sweet Summer Day.
More & More is such an experience, I've been listening to the song on loop since it got released. Now all my family loves More & More 😂❤❤❤
The dance break is amazing and definitely my favorite part of the MV / song by far!
The album is spectacular! Make me go is one of my favourite songs ever, I’ve probably listened to it 100 times! Twice are truly artists
I've been waiting for your reaction to this😂
I think JYPE is doing a great job in strategizing and fitting the evolution of their sound to the age of the members as they grow from the cute concept to a more mature vibe.
Seeing where they are now, I can't fathom how much better they can get from this🔥
Hoping to see your Listening Party to the album! I think this album will take Feel Special's place as your favorite TWICE album 😂
im obsessed with the editing in the rap break. the rap break itself is my favourite part of the song, along with nayeons intro
Is there gonna be a listening party😳🙏🙏🙏
Yes, PD please! This mini album is one of my favorites. Make Me Go and Oxygen are TOP TIER B-SIDES!
Please have a listening party 🥳
well he said that he’s taking a break so idk
I HOPE SO, THE SONGS ON THERE ARE ALL BOPS 😭
LISTENING PARTY PLS
Everytime I listen to this I just keep repeating it more, more, more aaand more.
Can you react to exo’s baekhyun AND lay’s new music videos. Lays videos production is so big its like a whole movie
tom se OMG YES LAYS MV IS LIT
LAYS MV WAS SO GOOOOD
YESSSS CANDYYYYY
I need a beakhyun album reaction😆
YES!!!
thank u for your reaction
this song is a such a BOP i really like it and the choereography is so hard
LISTEN TO THE SIDE TRACKS THEYRE FIRE!!🔥🔥🔥
i cant express how much i love these analyzes
a listening party of this album would be awesome! i'd love to see your reaction and hear your opinions on it.
You should check out lit by lay, ig you’d love the production. It looks like a movie
Wholeheartedly AGREE!!!
I love this song! Twice are my favorite group and I’m so proud of how much they’ve progressed.
PD IS BACK AND HE’S HERE TO ANALYZE THIS MASTERPIECE
AMEN
I agree with how you're saying it's disguised as some sugary bubbly pop but there's actually something else. Seriously. The way she sings "you are gonna be mine again" in that tone 11:40 I'm still not over it
I like it everything, except the Chorus, i don't know, but it's a really great song (THE ENTIRE ALBUM OMG)
Can't wait for your listening party of their album. It's freaking legit ❤️
PD you should check the whole mini album, it's amazing❤️
This song had a summer nature atmosphere and playful rhythm like dance the night away
I rlly liked the MV for the most part, but those CGI tigers were HIDEOUS.
They are leopards tho 😅
leopards 🤦🏼♂️
I disagree
Thanks for your reaction! I always anticipate yours every twice and astro comeback
PD: So this is weird, looking at the lyrics and looking at the video... (They're completely different.)
Me: *Flashbacks to the Loonaverse.*
*(And yes, Love4Eva's MV is creepy af.)*
Yes, but at least it had a coherent line throughout.
When you are psychedelic and you also love twice. This is so awesome!!! Nayeon Forever 💜✨
Not as good as their previous title tracks in my opinion, however my favorite album by them so far! ❤️
but if you listen to it a few times you will get used to it and i tell u girl it's very ADDICTIVE! HAHAHAHA
same. title track isn't my cup of tea but for REAL the b-sides are heavenly.
@@yeouddeonu07 true but I still don't think it will quite be on the level of fancy and feel special.
Same. For the similar style, Dance the Night Away is much better.
first listen: feel special > fancy > more & more
2nd listen: feel special > more & more > fancy
ok this is the most visually satisfying setup I've ever seen from you!
Comments like yours make my day.
@@formoftherapy and your video made mine!
13:45 all of it, all of it is a set
the vocal mixing, i don't know if there is a name for it i really love it.
Same
it feels and looks like they're evolving from the girls they were when i started to listen to them in 2016...love their talent and they deserve so much love 💜
You are really objective and assertive. I really love your reviews/reacts!
6:00 was my reaction the whole mv y’all SOTY AOTY
Psycho = SOTY
Kotaac that song came out in 2019, it’s halfway through 2020 now. More & More SOTY :))
Aj Saelee it came out in december, it counts towards this year lmfao
@@applemusic751 we'll see about that..let's make a bet
The dance break feels like a "Love Cherry Motion" moment going on. I love it. This chorus felt underwhelming on the first listen but the second time in I was hooked.
Personally i loved this comeback so much! This shows us again that Twice is very versatile and open to try new concepts. It's a perfect summer song for me especially since the album is full of bops, no skipping.
More & More Listening Party!!
Firework is a BOPPP
No one:
Everyone: talking about the album
Tyler 324 bot that there’s nothing wrong with it, the comments are filled with it lol I’d want him to react to it as well
PD always gives K-pop best in-depth analysis on youtube.
Are you going to do a listening party for this album?
Gosh your analysis is the most logical one, you really got the whole thing 🔥🔥
9:29 first time i saw this i thought like "this is absolutely Larsson's vibe going on here" since Zara Larsson is involved in the making of the music. but idk though maybe it's just me :/
This is a psychedelic, hippie concept and speaks of the freedom to love, that's why there are many colors and that's why the song in the choir says more, more, more, more, more and more .... Twice dictating the pattern of versatility and giving us another iconic choreography
B-SIDE as title track??
i really like "oxygen"
yes. oxygen was a candidate title track for feel special era.
Make me go
@@soiovey i thought i was the only one huhu
oxygen is the hidden title track for sure
this album is AMAZING btw, all songs are fantastic
Not my favorite of their albums but still it was great, I'm glad they're still going hard. The chorus is a little bit disappointing to me, guess I'll have to hear it again.
Fran Claverol it usually grows on my
Honestly had to bite my tongue first listen, but listening to it not over and over, but a few times after especially through the rest of the album, it definitely grew on me. Much bigger fan of this albums Bsides tho
JUST STOP COMPLEMENTING IF YOU'RE JUST BANDWAGON BECAUSE ITS DISGUSTING..
@@gerardojr.batislaon443 I'm not bandwagoning. I'm not obligated to like a song. And even if I like the song I can have some things that I dislike about it. I'm a ONCE, but not every ONCE should like the song just because it's TWICE. It's called and opinion, maybe not respecting it is disgusting.
@@gerardojr.batislaon443 omg cant u just accept their opinions omg such immaturity.
this mv was absolutely good, but it had me to take some time to adjust myself to it, it was really shocking and kinda out of nowhere they just DID THAT which made me super surprised like you, a skeptical silence but now I absolutely love it. I wish everyone does, too
PD: *slight smile in intro*
He's super excited about this one I can tell!
This guy's voice is relaxing tbh
Are you going to do a reaction to Lay's Lit? I believe the MV quality is one of the best. Would love to see your reaction to that!
AGREED
Been hearing great things yes!
What I like about this MV and twice in general is that they don't try super hard, so it's just them, having fun doing things they love
The song is pretty great honestly!! at first I had problems with the chorus and the rap part (i found the chorus underwhelming and i thought the rap part can be replaced with a last prechorus) but the more i listened to it, it grew on me ALOT. Oh and also, you should check out the album it's pretty great!!
I took this video as a symbol of them shedding their innocent look/sound for a more grown-up mature sound.
