The Tiger (P)'s line is one of the best lines I have grinded in the german tech tree, and VK 100 is op as hell, I remember dominating the entire battlefield with my armor and its quite easy to angle unlike the mauschen and maus(because the upper plate is easily pennable if you're dealing with a FV215b 183 or a high caliber tank like Ho-Ri), what's more is this is a beast in gravity mode, as a super heavy, it can ram any heavies back to their garage easily, with a high alpha damage per shot, this thing can change the tide of the battle.
i kinda agree but i dont fully agree tho the vk100p when i first played it suck alot (btw i bought all the equipment for it but not the research) first match is a tier 9 on a stock 8 tier
@@semtexs9730 its pretty good even it has the stock, I played it on stock and grinded the Mauschen without buying any of the equipments except Gun Rammer(Even tho you can use Calibrated Shells if you want to, I only unlocked that equipment coz I don't have any credits lol), but I also agree that it is pretty hard on tier 9 games since you can easily get obliterated especially if you are not hull down or sidescraping, they can easily snipe the cupola so you need to be careful about it, its either you hide it or you can wiggle the turret since the turret traverse speed is pretty good too for a heavy!
I don’t know if anyone has said this yet, but the hatch on the VK is actually not even 200mm thick on the front. Not sure where you got 220 from, but the values are 175 and 195 on the slightly angled parts. Not exactly weak, but pretty easy to pen for anything with more than 200 pen
I play this tank these days. Everyone can pen me with ease. When side scraping its good, but the moment they can hit the hatch it's useless. And the hatch is pretty big which doesnt help at all. 🤣
So true literally, the armor is freaking overpowered, multiple tanks shoot me in the front and it just bounce off or dont penetrate, i literally got more than 5k damage resisted, so freaking op
I remember doing a 3v5 in this the VK100P and while both of my teammates are doing a 1v1 in both corners of the map, i have to deal with 3 tanks, only managed to kill 2 tanks until both teammates comes in and helps me with the last tank, while i had 140 hp left So its a pretty good tank, unfortunately i have to sell it since my goal was to get the Maus and i only have 1 more garage slot
Its the first Tankline Im grinding since 2013. Maus was my first T10 on PC, Blitz and Console, lol. Absolutely love the VK100.01 dominated so many 3vs.3 T8 Battles on Console with it and was my first Tank with 100% MoE 😂
@@youngchild9294 I like taking mine out in Gravity Mode to grind credits ( I got it from one of those crates where you start at T5 and if you have the tank you get a T 6 etc. II was a bit gutted when I got the thing at T8 tbh. But iit is good for Gravity Node. So I won't complain too much lol ) . But I don't use it apart from that.

Maus has 3000 hit points? I would say had, when was last time u used it? Also things will change after some updates, WG does it on purpose for Utubers having something to show, I quess...
I don't really like VK 100. Again any player with any brains you get melted. Also in face hug it's an absolute garbage. If you load gold you can pen VK turret ring each time with little to no skill. Turret ring is really exposed.
@Droodles Blitz its been a year from the last time you play the angry connor. Perhaps a refresh the tank because there is an offer to get the tank for 2,5 k gold for it
I don't know why or what exactly is wrong with me but I somehow have statistically significantly better numbers all the way around in the 168 than the vk100, and it shows in my play. I don't want to be like this, I've sold the 168 several times only to crawl back into it when gravity mode next rolls around lol
This is why I thought, but even if I angle my sides perfectly I get penned every time. I’m sick of being targeted and just not blocking anything at all, I hope this wasn’t because of an update
Me and my friend call it the wall because its literaly a wall what can you do about it when this thing pushes you when you are using a tiger 1 or other tier 7
A agree this tank is very good and not used enough. An insane thing i find with this and vk168 is that they go almost the same speed in reverse (at 15) than they go forward (20) and olso maushen and maus go 25 forward and 15 in reverse that is still insane in my opinion
VK 100 huh, a nice tank with good armor and big alpha, but slow.... Im prefer using Tiger 2, because it fast and have a good gun accuracy... And dont forget about the armor ( I bounce an ISU 152 with Tiger 2 ).... But right now, im always using a hulldown tank ( i dont know why... Because its fun maybe ? ) Stay Healthy Everyone
VK168.01P is being forgotten cause no one cares about it but I still believe that the VK168 is very troll like since the VK168.01P's side armour is not angled like the VK100.01 which I find seems to be more helpful in blocking damage as many people think they can pen the whole side armour and end up bouncing the lower half of the side armour which is very frustrating for both me and my enemies, I feel that the VK168.01P is better at face hugging enemies as I find myself bouncing every shot from the enemies when they try to shoot at my cupola or turret cheeks cause it is easier to block the cupola and it is very troll to hit the turret cheeks as sometime you can bounce the grey spots, and also the tracks are not weak as I find that unlike what everyone says about the VK168's tracks it is quite strong and also I find myself getting tracked but not damaged when enemies shoot my drivewheel and also the VK168 is more underated than the VK100 as due to many people thinking the VK168.01P being weaker than the VK100.01P people tend to just underestimate what you can do and you can turn a loss into a win like one time I turned a 2v7 into a win with my VK168 and my teammate KV5 who does not know what he is doing and also I find myself bouncing more shots on my back as since it has those spots where it links to the tracks so if people shoot that spot they won't pen, also the VK168.01P is a premium which means you earn a ton of credits and the VK100.01P not underrated cause I find that the VK100 is being spammed more than the VK168 I feel like me and my clan are the only ones who actually appreciate the VK168. Tbh also the VK168 would have done the same things in that battle but better at the face hugging as it would be harder to hit the weak spots, pls guys try out the VK168 cause it really is a great tank I love that tanks as it was not only my first premium tank, but also my favorite as I find that nothing can compare to the VK168
the beautiful thing about the vk is that its frontal armor is almost as strong against tier 9 as it is against tier 7.
The lower frontal plate is such a weak spot that's why I don't like the vk

I don’t know if anyone has said this yet, but the hatch on the VK is actually not even 200mm thick on the front. Not sure where you got 220 from, but the values are 175 and 195 on the slightly angled parts. Not exactly weak, but pretty easy to pen for anything with more than 200 pen
That was old vk 100 when it was released it had PC values so it was all OP cause of that.
I play this tank these days. Everyone can pen me with ease. When side scraping its good, but the moment they can hit the hatch it's useless. And the hatch is pretty big which doesnt help at all. 🤣

It is a nice tank,but as long you know how it works, it's actually pretty easy to deal with. I prefer the Tiger ll anyday to be honest.

as an maus grinder vk 100 01 is pain 310 dmg every 14 seconds on stock sucks

I have the Vk 168.01p and its pretty simmilar, only big difference is the cheeks, cupola location and turret position.
168 has alot weaker upperplate
Vk 168.01p is just a worse tank and theres no point in playing it if you have a 100.1

I'm struggling with this tank to, I think that the lower plate got nerfed and now is easily pennable even with angling, but at least is good in cities
