    2012 aggies is one of the best teams of all time, first year in SEC and they're producing a heisman winner, Cotton bowl win, beating the number one ranked team, sec coach of the year

    Just remember there were quite a number of other outstanding players on this team. Everret, Molina, Evans, McNeal, Watchaku, D. Harris, just to name a few. Overall one of the best overall teams I've seen over 53 years of lovin' them AG's!!

    For a freshman he was really good at keeping his head up and his eyes downfield when juking around in the pocket and/or rolling out but still being behind the line of scrimmage.

    Holy moly I forgot how incredible our Offensive Line was that season. Johnny had all the time in the world on some of these deep passes.

    Manziel is the best QB in all of college football & Texas A&M is the in the top 2 best football teams in the nation this season, & they were the best team in the nation last season. This is coming from a die hard Notre Dame fan too. I know an amazing team when I see one.

    Manziel looks like a guy who invented the game and everyone else on the field is just now learning. I've never seen a more naturally gifted athlete. Will he succeed in the nfl? His only question would be his size, because his quickness, speed and arm are all exceptional.
    There were similar concerns about Drew Brees , we all know how he turned out.

    In all fairness, there have been plenty of college QBs who I'd have wanted on my college team but wouldn't have been my first NFL QB choice. Bucky Richardson and Reggie McNeal are two that come to mind for A&M. That said....I do think Johnny will have a lot of success in the NFL.

    President of OU Boren actually fired Stoops way to late. Stoops did not leave on his own. Stoops failed again at winning a title much less going to one. 0-4 since 2000. The only other title before that was 1985. OU has been in a weak conference and every now and then they beat a SEC in a Consolation game or got that ass kicked but good like 41-13. Hell Clemson beat OU 40-6 and 37-17 when it counted. OU and Stoops had to go. Boren was slow on pulling the Trigger.

    Manziel could have been the next Michael Vick or Drew Brees, but thew it all away because he was either unable or unwilling to understand that there comes a time when you have to grow up and act like an *adult* instead of a carefree teenager.

      He struggled with addiction and didnt have a team around him that was willing to take the time to help him through it. Brett favre also had addiction issues and because the packers workes with him he was able to overcome it. Manziel was on his own dealing with his issues when he hit the NFL.

    Lol quite the opposite. I love the way Manziel plays. I think he'll go down as one of the greatest college football players of all time. However, that doesn't always translate to the NFL.

    I'm assuming you got Manziel's height and weight from the wikipedia or the aggies athletic site, which is, most of the time, false because the team wants him to look bigger than he actually is. In reality he is probably 6'0 190.
    Also if you look at a side by side picture of RG3 and Manziel, RG3 has a lot more muscle than Manziel has. Manziel doesn't even look like he lifts any weights.
    Lastly, an inch on your height and 17 lbs on your frame is a pretty significant difference in the NFL.

    I gotta give Johnny Manziel a lot of credit for the year he had. But for him to succeed at the next level he needs to cut down on the running around and throw from the pocket. We seen rg3 tear his knee up from running too much and Johnny isn't even close to the size rg3 is and rg3 isn't even that big. I just think Manziel does too much improv sometimes.
