Just pop by the busy Seremban Pasar Besar and you will easily find an endless breakfast crowd at the Tow Kee Hakka Mee stall that has been around for seven decades! Without doubt this minimalistic looking stall has a fan base that stretches generations of locals and their friends.
This husband and wife team sure look busy and it's all hands-on work from daybreak and only till 11am! That's how fast and furious this Hakka mee serving is adored. You will be surprised that the noodles look absolutely normal, served with a sprinkling of spring onions, minced pork and a splash of special thick porky sauce. All home-made secret recipe that have lasted decades.
You can say that there are many food and noodle stalls here but this one just stands out as unique and tasty!
滔記客家麵已有七八十年歷史，一條條微微捲曲的客家麵，口感脆香，雖然只是以肉碎和蔥花“相伴”，卻讓人回味。滔記客家麵的麵條是自家秘方製成，選用高筋麵粉，據說要讓麵條更有咬勁，加入雞蛋等材料，就能讓客家麵吃起來更香滑。肉碎也是獨門秘方烹煮，鹹香中帶有淡淡的味道。单看他们搅面的动作就可知他们多忙碌。

Counting the noodle counting the meat Hakka noodles lah l think eating indo mee or kimchi noodle much better .

their mince pork is not freshly made. Taste not fresh. nothing to shout about and the owner has a face like as though you own him money.
You should try doing the same mundane job for the next 30 to 40 years, then you'll understand why the face looks nonchalant beside it's their family trademark since they opened their Hakka mee in the old Seremban wet market in the '60s.
You should also try the family's other shop across the wet market run by his sister who use to organize the queue in the '60s (a queue was alien in them days) Her expression is even more stoic to maintain their family trademark of no-nonsense good value food without the marketing Zazz.
Tak kiralah apa bangsa sekali pun sepatutnya jagalah sikit kebersihan terutama ketika menyediakan makanan..pakai la sarung tangan..guna sudu atau penyepit makanan..janganlah pegang macam tu je...tepi tepi lantai tu bersepah..bersihkan lah...ini berjejer mee mee tu di tepi tu...

the noodles here are very overated and nothing to shout about.........very average. i have tried better ones in Seremban. found cockroaches many times at their table when dining. poor cleanliness.
