sa pagkakaalam ko as a hrm student before..pwede ka lng mag housekeeping kapag nkaout ang guest di mo cla dapat istorbohin..bcoz they check in just to relax and have their own privacy..ipasara na yang hotel na yan😠

i'm working as a housekeeping din dito sa Japan, alam ko Pinas or Japan man pareho lang ng rules check in 10am check out ng 12pm, dito sa work ko pag stay ang guest at walang DND sign kakatok lang kami mga 12pm or bago mag 2pm kasi ang 2pm lang pede magpalinis, for sure kasi gising na ang guest ng ganung time, at if ever na di sila nag response pag kumakatok ka, tatawag na kami sa front desk para sila magcheck, tumatawag sila sa phone dun sa room ng guest, dyan s hotel ng pinag stay nyo parang unprofessional nga sila buti na lang at shinare mo Shek ung naging experience dyan s hotel na yan.😘

I'm an ordinary person and when I see Ate Shek I click
Ganun talaga sa lahat ng hotels. Dapat sinasabit mo talaga or nakaonn yung DND to notify the Room Attendants that the guest do not want to be disturb. Room Checking po ang ginawa ng RA at iba pa po yung MUR or make up room. The manager was right na RCing is SOP to all hotels na usually ginagawa around 7-9am. It is for the guest security din naman. But the most important thing is the manager apologized at siguro hindi rin maganda yung approach ng RA nila. 😉👍 BTW HRM Graduate with an experience working in different hotel for almost 3 years.

Nakapag work and ojt na po ako sa hotel.. usually po kasi policy talaga ng most of hotels yan ... nataon lang siguro na ganyan mali yung approach sainyo ng hotel employee... as far as i remember ...1st housekeepers should knock and present themselves as housekeepers usually they will wait enough time for someone to come to the door if no one responds housekeepers are permitted to enter the room and clean...kaya diba minsan naka check in tayo let say , gumala or lumabas ng hotel...pagbalik natin ang linis na ng room.. kahit hindi nag request ng roomservice... pero kasi kung naka double lock dapat nakaramdam silang may tao naman sa loob... 2nd pede din siguro nagkaroon ng suspicious or doubt sa room status niyo kaya they forcefully enter the room... to check kung ok lang ba kayo.. kaso 9am!! grabeh ang aga naman non para maging "suspicious ang room status para iforcefully enter yung room....

saka dapat nung nagsorry yung manager inexplain man lang nila na mandatory yon for safety purposes din
everyday po ang housekeeping .. routine po talaga sya... lalo na kilalang hotel... narananas ko narin po many times na pag naka checkin...pag bumabalik sa room linis na kahit hindi ni request.. baka naranasan narin nila shek yon... Nataon lang na nasa loob pa pala sila..since hindi sila nag reply sa katok dahil tulog pa nga.. walang dnd sign.. papasok talaga yung room attendant.. kala siguro wala sila and ready for cleaning na... Mali lang baka pangit din kasi approach nung staff...
Isobelle Abano baka iba din. Kase dun sa alam ko, upon request ang makeup. And alam ko depende din sa length of stay kung kelangan ng make up. At kung part talaga ng sop nila yun, sana kasama sa house rules ng bawat rooms. :)
Syempre different hotels have their own individual policies.. iba iba din syempre tayo ng experience.. i just stating my experience lang po na sa lahat na workn ko na hotel at na checkin na 3star to 5star same policy sa BW.. i think even if you googled it Hotel housekeeping standard procedure...SOP for entering the guest room... Pero meron ako naexperience na ganyan ang request makeup pero villa resort..i guess the reason madalas nagtitipid yung hotel .. ayaw magpalit ng linens and towels everyday ... kasi big expense ng hotel ang laundry... kaya for me inspite of mishaps sa experience ni shek ....kahit 3star hotel si BW... it means lang naglilinis sila ng room everyday hahhaha... point of view ko lang ito based on experience... pero negligence parin nila kung pangit approach nila kay shek at hindi sila apologetic they should properly explained the guest ...

Shek's Diary Sorry to hear that! 😢 I live like 2 mins away from that hotel. The place looks decent from the outside but the people from their staff pala are like that. Super unprofessional. Don’t go there na!! If you plan to visit again, go check out hotels in Clark - much better 🤗

Sa kinainan nyo pong Orchid Garden kumain po kami dyan mayroon pong mga laruan sa mismong restaurant.Tapos po sa mismong Orchid Garden merong resort dyan.
Tapos po sa sky ranch lagi kami dyan kasi po sa Sta.Ana.Pampanga po kami nakatira pero ngayon po sa Angeles Pampanga na po kami.

That was a horrible experience! Imagine if you went out early and they came in ng walang pasabi and you did not ask for it. I’ve been in different hotels too and it is either they will call to ask or you’ll let them know if you want house keeping services. And those staff staring at you guys is so creepy and very uncomfortable! Anyway I will take note of that hotel when we go visit Pampanga. Thanks for letting us know.
chubbychitchat if there is no DND sign in the door knob tlga ppsok ang housekeeping to clean the room kht na wla sila. Ang mali lng nla. Ng knock cla ng npaka daming beses at pinoforce nla na buksan ung door. Dpt un 3x knock lang. Then kpg wlang response, open the door. But if its double lock means the guest is still inside.
room attendant din aq so automatic un papasukin ng housekeeping un room for make up room service wether my MUR sign or wala but of course with proper knocking and so on.
unless nglagay k ng DND sign, the room attendant will take note of it s sheet nila and will monitor kung natanggal mu n un DND sign saka nila papasukin to clean it up.
and u can advice the front office if u want a reference or special request n for example 11am un make up room service so it will be endorse s houskeeping dept. and manotify un R.A n naka assign dun
so ndi nia papasukin un until 11am. fyi ln din bawat time n pnapasok nmen and even paglabas s bawat rooms n naka assign naka log s sheet namen. and pinapasa s housekeeping supervisor befor kme mag out. and thats for our safety as well merun kc mga hoteliers n porket mtatagal n nag accuse pra mka libre or mkakuha ng discount or privelege.

Such a unprofessoinal persons! As for me I'm a HRM student. NagOJT kami sabi saamin if house keeping dapat pagalis ng customer. Atsaka why they're trying to get inside if the guest is there!! They're so stupid!

I work as a Housekeeping Coordinator in a 5star hotel here sa Dubai. Yes it is a Housekeeper's duty na magknock sa door ng guest but they should wait sa response para malaman nila if they can proceed to provide cleaning service pero NEVER pa nasali sa SOP ang pagbukas ng door forcefully knowing na it's on double lock and it's only 9AM duhhhhhh
if ever that happens to me, i will ask for compensation HAHAHAHAHAA

Sobrang magagalit ako if that happens to me, as an operations manager din sa hotel dito sa Canada, we have trained our staff not to knock on doors before check out time especially in your case, “stayover” kayo, regardless if your DND sign is on or not. Housekeepers must communicate with the front desk regarding room status. Giving them the benefit of the doubt namn, baka new employees lang yung mga housekeepers, i hope thats the case kung hindi, mali ang practice na ginagawa nila.

Ako shek noong nag oojt pa ako yung policy talaga is kapag may housekeeping at yung room is hindi nka DND (Do not disturb) sign yung guest mag do-doorbell kami at sabay sabing "housekeeping" tatlong beses lang talaga pag yung guest di sumagot or nag response di na namin eh di-disturb yung guest sa loob kasi may ibang guest din naman na nakakaligtaan mag lagay nang DND sign sa mga door nila at kailangan din naman naming eh consider yun at talagang mali yung ganon pumapasok lang bigla tska baka yung mga nag chichismisan dyan sa inyo nako walang respeto sa mga guest I think di sila bagay sa Hospitality Industry nakaka inis!
