Great reaction guys. You want good Miranda vocals you need to do "Tin Man" live at the award show. Lot of word play in that song. And it is just her and her guitar.
I love your reaction. And yes you're right at the internalized Dolly bugged Loretta ignored the blame that her husband shared and just blame the woman and Miranda's basic response was screw it let it burn. Miranda has her her best album was probably crazy Ex-Girlfriend. But she's got some other great things. The house built me, this ain't my Mama's broken heart, white wire. All of these songs deal with deep emotions and she expresses them very very well although I would have to say if it came down to it my favorite of the lot is probably White liar. Great reaction guys.

Miranda is great, I've seen her live a few times, try Crazy Ex Girlfriend, Mama, I'm Alright, Tin Man, Mama's Broken Heart. She also has a duet with Carrie Underwood, Something Bad.

This was the first song of hers that hit big on country charts here in Australia and therefore the first song of hers that I heard and I’ve listened to everything she’s done since. One of my favourite of hers vocally would be Tin Man. Her live performances of that one are all great too. I also love Mama’s Broken Heart and Blue Bird. All those mention above are singles but she has some awesome side B tracks that are in my opinion better than some of her other singles. You guys have reacted to the trio she’s in called Pistol Annie’s, I’d like to see you react to their video for Hush Hush or their song Takin’ Pills.

If I'm not mistaken, the guy in the bed at the end is Travis Howard who has co-written for Miranda and Dierks Bentley. He is also an actor.

I think yall forgot that the woman came to see Loretta and You Ain't Woman Enough To Take My Man. All Loretta's songs happened in her life. Her husband wasn't about to leave her. Like the song said, she knew exactly where she stood. He was in love with her. A cheater but still in love with her through it all and she was always in love with him.
Miranda is a rock star who happens to sing country songs.
I love Miranda’s song Bluebird and The House That Built Me, White Liar. Over You is a song Blake Shelton and Miranda wrote while they were married, about his brother that died. Blake couldn’t bring himself to sing it so he wanted Miranda to sing it. It is an awesome song.

ya'lls reaction to the song: yeah, this is some of her really early work when she was still finding her way after winning one of those major talent shows. it's not her best. but also not her worst performance.
I have to admit (and saying this in the past has gotten me caught in a shit storm) but I am not a huge Miranda fan. I will admit, she is talented, she's a beautiful woman, she has some good songs and yes, she just won entertainer of the year, which is all well and good. But for me, she is pretty middle of the road compared to other female country singers such as Martina, Reba, Faith, Carrie, Terri Clark, Sara Evans.
That said, I do respect her reaction to cheating more than begging the dirtbag to say. Not that I am saying it's okay to set his crap on fire if he cheats. Only go that route if you know you won't get caught. 🙂

I really enjoyed the series of reactions following a certain theme. Going with this same theme I would suggest listening to Gretchen Wilson's "Homewrecker" which is sort of along the lines of Loretta Lynn's reaction but with less smiling and more straightforward ass kicking threats.
People need to learn that not every artist for everyone.
Some people are die hard Miranda fans. Some are not. That's the beauty of music. There's something for everyone. And for some of us, Miranda is just like you said...middle of the road.
Miranda isn't a powerhouse and I don't think she would ever claim to be. Her power in music is in her songwriting and delivery, which are subjective like anything music related

Great reaction video of a great song! Very similar musically to Steve Earle's "I Feel Alright". I believe they've both acknowledged this, Steve saw it as a neat tribute. I sent you guys a link to Steve's song. I noticed it the first time I heard Miranda's song.

She stated in an interview that she had inadvertently duplicated the melody and structure, saying: "I didn't purposefully plagiarize his song -- but unconsciously, I copied it almost exactly. I guess I'd listened to it so much that I just kind of had it in there."
Another song you may like is Stripes by Brandy Clark. It's another caught my man cheating song, but it's not quite as extreme as Kersosene.

Let's go back to one of the first radio beefs I can remember....before my time but it was still being talked about. Waylon Jennings "Honky Tonk Angels" vs Kitty Wells "It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels," in that order. ♥! These songs really need to be done together to get the full impact.
Miranda's voice is decent but she doesn't hold a candle to the legends in the first 3 videos. Don't get me wrong I love her but those first 3 are legends. Idk if you've listened to her or not but Tanya Tucker - Delta Dawn or Tammy Wynnette- Stand by your man or The Judd's- Grandpa These ladies are some legends as well.
I always liked Miranda's video 'Fastest Girl In Town' with Danika Patrick when she was driving for NASCAR. To me that video showed how cute she is. I think she is so very pretty.

I was watching this series and PRAYING that one of the songs was not Stand By Your Man. Thank goodness it wasn't. Unpopular opinion.... I love Tammy Wynette and I'm down for any song of hers except her most famous one because that song (and that general attitude) teaching girls a really damaging message. "He'll have good times and you'll have bad times" but you stand by him girl cuz that's your f*g job. My mother AND my daughter fell for that shit. I hate that song. But I suspect you'll get enough requests to hear it eventually. If you can't tell, I'm more on the Miranda side of things. Lol Ironically, I've been married to the same sweet man for over 30 years.
