Day 18 of 100 Days of Piano Practice: Polyrhythms in folk songs. Improvisation.
This little folk song is called 'Kanyoni Ka Nja' from the Gikuyu Community of Central Kenya. I've fused it with rhythms from Nyanza and I'm still trying to figure out how to improv on it.
