I once was at a sanctuary where an elephant tapped my shoulder from behind with its nose and then tapped its foot near my sunglasses on the ground. I think it was trying to tell me I dropped it. They're not just intelligent, they're considerate too. Magical and majestic beings 🙏

I have been fortunate to see wild elephants several times and I am right there with you. 👍The only thing lacking between eles and humans is a common language. If we took the time to understand just a little better how they communicate, I think we would find that elephants are every bit as smart as human beings...maybe even more. We'd probably learn that about lots of species.

There is a video of elephants going into a cave to eat the minerals. Apparently they have been going to this cave for many years.

Elephant calves aren’t born with the necessary bacteria in their gut to process all the vegetation they eat so they will eat the dung of their mother/aunts in order to build their immune systems.

The temporal glands on the sides of the face of the “attacking” elephant were streaming - a sign of excitement or agitation. He or she was clearly distressed by the intrusion.

(( 🐘🐘 )) I think that elephants are very cool animals and they take care of their own as well. They will protect their babies and that is for sure.

Just sad that people would kill a majestic animal like the Elephant just to extract its ivory tusks that’s pretty terrible to harm an animal as precious as an elephant because of Greed

Why are so many elephants sick with this "contagious" disease?! Also, what does it have to do with "How Forest Elephants Warn Predators" ??? I don't get it!

It appears the photographer caused the elephant's distress and did not retreat/leave when the elephant asked them to do so. If that's true, I'm surprised this video clip was published here and perhaps even paid them for this bad behavior.
